42 Mysterious Old Man

"Mana Eye." Sam activated his Eye Arts. And the next instant, his eyes started to perceive the hidden world which others cultivators couldn't.

At present, he was in the Bhalu beast's territory. Yes! you guessed it right. This was the beast's territory whom he recently slew.

With his mana eyes, he was seeking for a specific place where mana concentration was high. Because since from when he laid his eyes on Bhalu beast for the second time, he started to smell a fragrance of fortunes encounter.

In the rewind video of monkey beast, Sam witnessed Bhalu beast to be seriously injured. This was the first time when he saw Bhalu beast.

The second time was when he slew it, but at this time Bhalu beast wasn't injured at all! And it was in its best condition... before it got finally slew by Sam!

However, this generated doubts in Sam's mind: why was the Beast fit? Shouldn't it be in an injured state? How did it recover so fast?

And these doubts formulated one thing, there should be a treasure! Only with its help could the Bhalu beast recover this fast!

"found it." desire burned in Sam's eyes, he finally found the mana-rich place. It was actually a cave.

If it wasn't for his mana eyes, Sam was sure he wouldn't notice this cave's strangeness.

"its no wonder others didn't notice this place. Even a monarch would fail to notice this place' peculiarity since it's masked by a Natural Array." since this place has a Natural Array, Sam slowly, at cautiously entered the cave.

When he reached the innermost area...by the next second, he was shocked by the present scene: "this...!"

There were trees here which were bearing golden colour fruits. Sam has a rich experience, so, only a few things could surprise him, however, this golden colour fruit was one of those things!

This golden colour fruit was called 'Golden Peach'. Never did Sam expected, he would find a golden peach in the mortal plane. Forget about the mortal plane; this fruit was even a myth in Saint plane!

Soon after subsiding his shock, Sam noticed an unusualness. In the centermost place, there was an unknown seed placed on an elegant pedestal.

And the golden peach trees appears to be surrounding this seed. Furthermore, the plants were bending towards this seed, and it created a misconception that they were bowing and worshipping this seed!

Sam activated his mana eyes; however, shortly he was flabbergasted! It was not that he found any shocking secret or Strangeness; it was because he couldn't!

The seed looked totally normal to his eyes; it just seemed like any other regular plant seed you find! Even using his mana eyes he failed to notice any peculiarity, this startled him most!

Since his mana eyes couldn't find any strangeness on this seed, then was it really a natural seed? Sam shook his head, even if someone beat the hell out of him he wouldn't believe that it was just a regular seed!

"could this seed be..." Sam's heart started to pound louder! He began to feel excited! As he made some wild guess.

"It's not the seed of the tree of life as you think..." an old man's voice rang in Sam's ear.

Hearing this voice, all of his hair roots stood up! Chills ran down his spine!

Sam rapidly acted, he started activating his Concealments-Arts to the highest level, forcefully! However, soon he found he couldn't move!

It was like he was space shackled!

Without wasting any time, Sam immediately started to run his mind. Trying to find a way out of this dangerous situation.

Dangerous situation? Yes, it was really a biggest crisis of Sam's life! Because his Danger-Alerter, dizzy, who he was confident with. Who could even see through the concealment of a peaked cultivator of Saint realm failed to notify him!

"Stop forcefully activating Suprent-Locus-Arts. You will receive a serious backlash for forcefully activating it." An old man appeared before Sam out of nowhere.

"!!!!" (Sam)

"Just saying Suprent-Locus-Arts frightened you. Then If I say, Dragon Arts, Elvin Arts, Death Arts... Dizzy, Dreamworld...?" The old man was eyeing Sam with interesting looks as if seeing an amusing thing.

Sam could even tell this old man was enjoying his shocked expressions.

"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....." Sam was thoroughly shocked and he even started to feel a little bit apprehensive of this old man!

It was like... all his secrets laid naked in front of this old man.

"Control your emotions, young man. In the future, you will face much more shocking things. Even the heavens startling things. So start learning to control your composure. Or else every time you'll lose your face, by showing these expressions." just like an elder, this old man directed Sam.

Sam slowly got his composure back. And then belatedly he observed this old man

Just like any regular old person, this old man's hairs were white. But unlike any ordinary old man, this old man appeared to be a little bit more muscular.

This old man looked kind. However, the old man's stubble made him look sharp. Contrast to his kind looks, this old man has an imposing aura around him.

Moreover, this old man's dark clothes and the dark crown which was embedded with an elegant small clock accentuated his imposing aura.

It was as if this old man was a time ruler!

"good, good! Young fellow, it seems you are a fast learner. This old man is impressed!" seeing Sam fastly adapt to the situation, the old man praised... Just like an elder would praise his posterity.

"who are you? what do you want from me?" Sam asked. He wanted to probe the situation which he is in.

"who I am? You will eventually know in the future."

"For the second question, considering you are a poor fellow, at present, what can I want from you?" old man mysteriously smiled.

"any way let this old man give you a gift. This old man has already waited for a long time to give you this gift." with a swoosh, the seed which was on the pedestal appeared on old man's palm.

Then slowly the old man pressed the seed on Sam's forehead and kindly said to the seed: "Go, your master has arrived."

Just when the old man ended his saying, the seed sunk into Sam's forehead!

Sam didn't resist....because when the seed just touched his forehead. Suddenly an intense feeling of happiness bloomed within his soul. It was as if his soul was longing for this seed.

Soon the seed fused with his soul. Then a spiritual space appeared within Sam's soul in which the seed was sowed!

"finally done!" the old man genuinely smiled. However, Sam could feel a sense of relief within this smile.

By the next second, the old man started to get blur: "Ah...I wanted to take with you more.... forget it, I shouldn't brood over this."

The old man continued: "Young man listen carefully, I am going to advice you."

"first advice, Don't tell a thing about this seed to anyone!"

"second advice, be a low key!"

"third advice, be a high key!"

"be a shrewd guy, be an overpowering guy, don't feel restrained doing anything... I mean ANYTHING. But you should have a bottom line or else you will turn into the worst person who would be even lower than a scum that ever lived."

"let the old man give you a parting gift. with this gift, you would be unrestrained." The old man pressed his finger on Sam's forehead.

A blue light flashed throughout Sam's soul. And with the end of this flash, the old man also vanished.

The environment quieted down... it turned calm and peaceful. If it weren't for the seed to be present within Sam's spiritual space. Sam would have believed everything he experienced was actually a dream.

Sam wryly said: "This old man was really something. But what does his advice means..."
