31 Hunt 5

With the rise of the Sun in the clear sky, the day was bright. The sleeping ones woke-up and were ready to start the hunt.

"young master, here's your tea." Lan-Ju brought tea in a cup, which was crafted with leaves, and just like a good maid, she passed it to Sam.

Sam took a sip from this good crafted-cup, then smiled: "already started to do side-mission?"

Lan-Ju innocently asked: "what do you mean young master? What is side-mission?."

Sam grinned: "lying to your master... it's not a good thing you know."

Info flashed within Lan-Ju's eyes revelling minus ten points for lying to her master. Seeing it, Lan-Ju's eye widened: "what! -10 points for lying!...this isn't fair...*sniff*...*sniff*... my hard-work just got wasted...*sniff*...*sniff*..."

Lan-Ju really worked hard. Crafting a leaf-cup and brewing the tea in this doom's forest wasn't simple. To do it, Lan-Ju woke-up very early and assiduously found the right leaves to craft the cup, and diligently found the precise leaves to brew the tea.

And all this hard-work earned her the very first +10 points! which made her feel, it was worth-it. For all the hard work she did.

But just like that...all her hard work was wasted by a single playful lie!

Lan-Ju tearfully looked Sam: "young master, please forgive me...and give me back my points."

Sam shook his head: "Actually, you should be happy. Because it was your first lie to me the system only took ten points away. Or else... the system would have at least taken 100 points away."

"%$$#^*(@!" Lan-Ju cursed unfairness.

Lan-Ju's action made Sam smile. And seeing her lively expressions he inwardly thought of another matter {to recover this rapidly from last night's despairing-incident, should I think-off her as a strong woman...or...*sigh* is it that she already accustomed to such incidents...}

Maya came over and seeing tea in Sam's hand, she complained: "you maids really showing preferential treatment...ah?"

Drinking the remaining tea, Sam said: "Lan-Ju gave it to me."

To Maya, it was like suddenly someone stepped on her frictional tail. Immediately, just like a cat, Maya pounced on already-depressed Lan-Ju: "didn't I say, my brother was off-limits!"

Lan-Ju escaped and hid behind Sam: "Maya I only gave him the tea! That's all! If you don't believe me, you could ask Molly."

Molly and Rose were already there from the beginning.

Maya asked Molly: "Molly, is she telling the truth?"

Molly nodded: "Yes, young lady."

Maya looked toward Lan-Ju and snorted. And then towards Sam, she said: "youngest brother keeps your guard-up against her. Who knows what trick is she trying to play."

Lan-Ju wryly smiled. She didn't pull any tricks, She was earnestly trying to earn some points... that's all.

"everyone get ready. The fire-beast is leaving the cave!" Flynn informed.

The fire-beast was exiting the cave. It was a tiger-sized red-colored hyena embedded with fire all around its body.

The hyena cautiously left the cave.

Maya opened her mouth: "youngest brother, watch it from here. It will be safe for you."

Lan-Ju inwardly thought, {even if he was in front of the fire-beast, I am sure nothing will happen to him.}

Flynn, Owen, Lan-Ju, Agni, and Maya directly jumped down and surrounded the fire-beast. Doing so the fire beast's escape was cut-off.

Seeing the armed humans surrounding it, the fire beast growled: "grrr....!" it was giving out warning.

Surprisingly Owen didn't attack first like he always does.

Since the beast was already in a weakened state, it was already planned that the group would surround the beast, and kill it without letting it escape.

"Grrr...GRRR...!" the fire-beast ones again growled, then immediately it dashed toward Lan-Ju.

Lan-Ju faked a surprise: "ara...you already found I am the weakest one here?"

With her spear, Lan-Ju horizontally-slashed, forcing the beast to dodge back to its original position.

FIZZZZZZ.....!

FIZZZZZZ.....!

FIZZZZZZ.....!

FIZZZZZZ.....!

FIZZZZZZ.....!

After landing back to its position, without any further wait, the beast hurled fireballs from its mouth towards everybody.

The heat emitting from these fireballs was no joke. Even though the beast was in the weakened state, its four-star title was not just for show.

Flynn shouted: "everybody dodge!"

Everybody dodged it Since Flynn said. No one dared to take the football-sized fire-ball head-on.

The fire-balls passed them and landed little further away from their positions.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Hitting the ground, the fire-ball blasted out making explosions. The propelling force of these explosions hit the team, making them lurch and out focused.

Taking this chance the fire beast tried to escape. It dashed towards in the cave direction.

Flynn was the first one to recover. He rapidly ordered Lan-Ju: "Lan-Ju stop the beast!"

Lan-Ju spiritual attacked the fire-beast, Bang!

The beast was in running motion. And Due to unescapable spiritual attack, it fell into a dizzy state, and while rotating it stumbled down.

Seeing the golden opportunity Lan-Ju made, everyone attacked the fallen beast.

Everyone used their finishing moves. Flynn used his thunder slash. Maya and Agni used their fire slashes. Owen used brute force. Lan-Ju slashed her spear and also used spiritual attack once again.

ROAR!

Beast got sane. It roared loudly towards incoming humans. Then suddenly a sizeable spherical fire-blast busted out from its body.

BOOM!

"f***!" Flynn.

"Ahhh!" Maya.

"Ahhh!" Agni.

"s***!" Owen.

"today's really a bad day....!" Lan-Ju.

Before their attack could land, everyone got hit by the sudden fire burst and were crashed far away.

Fire-beast escaped back into the grotto.

Crashed fellows got up. Thanks to the armour they were wearing they got up unscratched and hurriedly pursued the fire beast.

"let's follow them." Sam jumped down from the grotto. Which alarmed Molly and Rose: "young master!!"

How wouldn't they? Even a warrior cultivator would be careful jumping from this height! But, in their eyes, Sam who was just a Pulse-stage cultivator uncaringly jumped from this height!

Molly and Rose didn't think any further. Without any moment hesitation, they jumped downed. All they want to do was save Sam. But the falling gap between them and Sam was already significant.

However, the next moment they agape. An unbelievable situation happened.

Sam landed safely! without any scratch!

They became dumb and even forgot that they were falling down.

seeing them fall just dumbly, Sam wryly thought, {these girls....}

Then he positioned himself just below these falling girls and caught them. Molly with his right hand, and Rose with his left hand.

Making them steadily stand, Sam reprimanded them: " at least wear parachutes if your jumping in this manner."

"..." Molly.

"..." Rose.

Molly and Rose had the same thought, {... this...what kind of situation is this?! How can young master land safely?! isn't he a pulse stage cultivator?!}

Sam didn't give them any time to think further: "come-on lets pursue them, or else we might lose them." after saying, Sam rushed into the cave. He activated Mana eyes so he could chase Maya's group.

Molly and Rose looked each other, and after shaking their heads, they followed Sam.

The cave inside was dark. However, the light inside was sufficient so they could see properly. But unlike a regular grotto, this cave was like a massive labyrinth with many tunnels.

Non-stop after travelling through many tunnels, Sam's group caught up with Molly's group who was standing in a vast place with several large circular-entries in the wall.

Molly and Rose had surprised expressions. Because they couldn't see the direction into which Maya's group went, they felt Sam was irrationally running through the maze. But now they knew Sam wasn't! He was actually running in the right direction!

Sam's mysteriousness started to increase in their eyes. Molly and Rose both felt they were unable to read Sam.

Maya's group had disappointment written all over their face. It seems they lost the beast in this giant maze.

Sam walked to Maya's group, and asked: " did you lose the fire-beast?".

Noticing Sam to come, Maya's mood turned better: "thanks' the god grace Brother you safely followed or else I didn't know how I should get back to you. Just thinking about the dangers you would have to face outside in this forest alone I started to feel regret bringing you here."

Opposite to Maya's relieved face, Agni's was feeling dejected on seeing Sam. She hoped that on noticing that they didn't come out, Sam could notify their families. So, their families could send someone to their rescue.

Flynn didn't show any change in expressions. However, Owen had irritated expressions rather than displeased ones.

Lan-Ju interrupted Maya and answered Sam: "Unfortunately we lost the fire-beast. Don't know whether it escaped from this grotto or not but we sure got stuck here."

Sam then looked towards another group present in this place, just far from them. And plainly asked: "know anything about that vigilant group?"

As Sam said, the group sure was keeping their guard up. It was an entirely reasonable thing for people to guard against each other in a dangerous environment. Because who knows the opposite party might have any malice intent.

Lan-Ju shook her head: "I don't know them. They were already here before we even arrive."

Sam said: "oh...then why don't we get ourselves introduced. It would be better than to get some vigilant stares isn't it?" Then towards the vigilant group, Sam walked: "Hey! I am Sam Dazer from Hellsing family, and we got lost here. Are you same?"

"young master...!" Molly tried to stop Sam but was obstructed by Flynn. And everyone looked Flynn questioningly.

Flynn explained his actions: "you see that group is vigilant because they couldn't sense our cultivation and feel insecure."

Everyone understood this because the weakest one among them before Sam came over was late stage warrior cultivator. And the strongest one in the vigilant group was early-staged warrior cultivator.

Flynn continued: "So Only Sam whose cultivation is...1st stage transformation stage....wait!... wasn't he in pulse stage cultivation?!"

Now that everybody was reminded, they shockingly noticed, Sam was really 1st stage-transformation cultivator!

If Sam didn't remove his concealment willingly, no one would have noticed his cultivation even if they were a Monarch.

Contrary to others, Lan-Ju was surprised in a reverse way, {this...was young master cultivation this low?.....no it shouldn't be.}

"that guy is coming over here." Razor, a young man who was attired in a red dress from the vigilant group spoke. This fellow was a good-looking guy with square-face, and he had spiked yellow hairs just like Paul from tekken 3.

Another man, named Vish who was more striking than Razor spoke: "it better than having other people to come over and talk. Isn't it?" this fellow was squared faced and has long messy and wavy hairs. Contrasting to his black-hair, Vish wore a white dress.

"I think I heard his name somewhere before." An oval faced, black long-haired beautiful young girl who was attired in a long white dress told. This girl was Li Min. yes, the unknown fiancé of Sam!

And the last member of this group was Joel, who was equally beautiful as Li Min, she spoke: "he said he is from Hellsing family...wasn't the cursed child name also Sam Dazer?" this chestnut color haired young-girl resembled more like a fairy and even her dress was fairy-like.

"!!!" Li Min suddenly remembered, { wasn't my fiancé name Sam Dazer. Then is he my fiancé!?}

And watching Sam Li Min panicked, {what should I do now!? He is just walking towards me. Did he know I was his betrothed!? This is bad! What to do...what to do...?}

Joel observed Li Min's strange expressions, so she called: "Li Min?"

"eee! I don't want to mar...!" Li Min nearly spilled out the beans. But luckily, she closed her mouth soon. Here no one knows about her engagement with Sam.

Everyone looked toward Li Min. This girl why did she hyped suddenly for?

Joel asked: "what you don't want to... Li Min. Could you repeat it? I didn't seem to hear properly."

"hahahahahaha...it nothing it's really nothing." Li Min faked a laugh. And her manner of talk even made people feel something suspicious.

Showing a detective like face, Joel said: "suspicious suspicious you seem to hide something Li Min."

Joel word made Li Min agitated, but before Li Min could talk Sam already reached the group and opened his mouth: "could I have the pleasure to know you guys?"

Li Min sighed in relief. Thanks to Sam's interruption, everybody's interest was diverted towards Sam.

Everyone introduced themselves, and when it was Li Min's turn, she garbled: "I...I...am...Min...yes Min Li. And...and...that's it."

Li Min was very nervous so she couldn't talk properly with Sam. Noel's lips arched upwards, she made some wild guesses about the situation.

Since Li Min couldn't introduce herself properly, Noel introduced her. which caused Li Min's heart to be frightened and apprehensive. But everything was simple; Li Min sighed in relief, it seems he didn't know about me.

From their introduction Sam knew, Razor was from Sun-sect, Vish was from Naga sect, Li Min was from Li family, and Noel was from Deon sect

Deon was one of the four great sects. while Li family belongs to top ten great families. Naga and Sun-sect were second ranking sects just below four great sects.

Though Naga and sun-sect were just second graded sects, yet their power wasn't something that could be ignored by even four great sects.

Everyone in this group was young and were starving for an adventure, so becoming curious about the grotto in this dooms forest they entered it. Thus a 'curiosity killed a cat' like thing happened. They all off-tracked and lost in this maze-like grotto.

Afterwards, Sam introduces his group to these people.

Knowing Maya was Sam's big-sister, Li-Min heart which just calmed down had a ride through a roller-coaster. In the end, It was normal Maya also didn't seem to know about Li-Min.
