Dooms forest...!

Even Monarch, the topest cultivator of the Mortal Plane, would be careful in this forest.

Why?

Because this forest was filled with many 7-star beasts! who are even more powerful than Human-Monarch! And each 7-star beast occupies a region within the forest.

However, the centermost area of this Dooms forest wasn't occupied by any 7-star beast. And because of this, a rumour spread that the center-region of this forest has an immortal item! And because of this immortal-item, the 7-star beasts didn't dare to occupy the central area.

To confirm the rumour, four peak-staged Monarch entered Dooms forest. and when they just set their foot into the central region, they all were instantly killed! The four strongest cultivators of the Mortal Plane just dead like that. and they even don't know how they died!

From that day onwards, the Dooms forest's central area became a taboo.

Although Dooms forest was perilous, in spite of that, its environs were safe.

The environs were only roamed and occupied by weak Monsters.

Only if one goes deep into the forest would they find stronger beasts. The deeper the one goes; the stronger the monster gets!

And to hunt the 4-star Fire beast, Maya brought Sam to this forest.

As Sam's maids, Molly and Rose came along.

Except for Sam who was only in Black dress, the girls wore white shining armour and were just looking like Valkyries.

Before coming here, Sam was also asked to wear armour. But he rejected it because he didn't feel the armour was good enough for him.

At present, Sam's group was waiting for Maya's friends outside the forest.

Even in the Valkyrian armour.... the girls' beauty didn't seem to be affected. And this beauty made the nearby people secretly ogling at them.

"Maya here! You guys are late!" a loud shout came from a group of four people. In this group, there were two young men and two young girls. and this group of young fellows was walking towards Maya.

The person who shouted was Flynn. He had long blue-hairs till his shoulder styled in a long side-parted manner, which suited his oval-shaped face. And on his body, he was wearing white armour.

The robust plain looking 6.5 feet bald-man next to Flynn was Owen. and this Owen was wearing maroon colored armour.

The two girls just following behind Flynn and Owen, were Lan-Ju and Agni. When it came to beauty, these girls were no inferior to Molly and Rose.

Lan-Ju was a pink- haired seductress, whose hair was styled in, Sleek Long Bob with Curves and Side-Swept Bang, which suited her moon-shaped face well. Like her hair colour, her armour was pink. And just looking at her's large armor's chest piece, one could guesstimate how large her round fleshy hills could be.

Agni was a well-developed fiery beauty. And her moon-shaped beautiful face along with a long braided ponytail increased her fieriness. Like others, she wore a red-armor.

The four people came

The red-haired beauty, Agni, a little bit angrily said: "Maya you know? because of you, we all had to spend 2 days in some crappy inn!"

Maya showed an abandoned-puppy eye looks and apologised: "sorry for making you suffer Agni. just forgive me this time....."

Facing Maya's this side, Agni couldn't bear to get angry anymore: "Humph... I forgive you this time."

Gesturing towards Maya's group, Flynn asked: "Maya, would you introduce us?"

Maya went behind Sam, and then cuddling around Sam's Neck she animatedly asked: "guess who?"

Seeing Maya hugging some unknown handsome man, Flynn's and Owen's face darkened. Lan-Ju's and Agni's got both puzzled and curious.

Lan-Ju noticed Owen's gloomy face, so she spoke her guess first: "is he your brother?"

Lan-Ju was just blindly throwing pebbles, she really didn't know if Sam was really Maya's brother or not. But she was right, her thrown pebble hit the target.

Maya animatedly said: "You are correct! He is my youngest brother...." Maya proudly asked: "isn't he a handsome guy?"

For some reason... Flynn and Owen sighed in relief.

"yes, he is. And he is even more handsome than Flyn....wait, you said he is your youngest brother!? He woke up!?" Agni was normally taking and then suddenly she was surprised.

Her words even surprised, Flynn, Owen and Lan-Ju.

Seeing their surprise faces, Maya nodded in acceptance. She was already expecting this to happen.

On the other hand, Maya and Rose thought, {young master sure is famous.} Then their thought continued bitterly, {but he is famous for his miserable condition.}

Maya introduced Molly and Rose as Sam's maids first, then Ben's Honorary disciples next. When Flynn heard they were just Maids, a lite contempt blinked in his eyes. But soon it was hidden well.

However, his contempt was already noticed by Sam.

Agni interrupted Maya and enthusiastically continued: " I will do the intro from here...this blue-haired man here is Flynn; from the Thunder family. and he is the strongest one among us."

Agni introduced Owen: "that 6 and a half feet baldy over there is Owen, and he is from Arae family."

Agni introduced Lan-Ju: "this seductress is called Lan-Ju. she is from Lilith family....most importantly be careful around her or else she might eat you."

As if proving Agni's words to be true Lan-Ju Licked her apple like lips. Then with her finger, she signaled Sam to come.

In response, Sam lightly smiled, {she really is a succubus}. Sam's thoughts about Lan-Ju weren't for the gesture she maid, but it were for a whole different reason.

Maya knocked Lan-Ju's head, then she seriously said: "my brother's off-limit did you get it?"

The hit was a hard one. Lan-Ju got a little bump on the head. Feeling the bump, she pitifully agreed: "yes, I got it."

Agni then finally introduced herself: "I am your sisters best friend. You can call me Agni. And I am from Phoenix family."

"let me tell you a secret..." saying, Agni came close to Sam's ear and she whispered: "both Owen and Flynn like your sister, but Maya is oblivious of this fact. And the interesting thing is, Lan-Ju like Owen! Isn't it an interesting love triangle?"

knowing the secret, Sam observed Flynn, Owen and Lan-Ju carefully, and a strange intriguing glint flashed within his eyes. Especially when he glimpsed at Flynn's small cotton pouch on his waist.

As the group began talking, Sam excused himself: "Big-sis, I saw an interesting thing on our way. I want to buy it. so I will be back in a few minutes."

It was Sam's first time coming out, so Maya didn't mind: "ok, but take Molly and Rose along with you."

Sam nodded and left with Molly and Rose...

There was a human habitat just near to this Dooms forest. Though it was risky for a habitat to be here. But to merchants this place was prosperous. Because the merchants could even sell their items at double price here!

Walking in the street of this habitat, Sam asked: "did you observe something strange about Big sis friends?"

Rose spoke: "what's strange about them, young master? weren't they a lively bunch."

Sam asked: "Molly, you?"

It was odd for her young master to repeat the question, so Molly thought, {it might be that young master observed something strange about Lady Maya's friends. So, what did he saw weird about them?}. Molly thought for a while, but she too was unable to point out any unusual thing about Maya's friends: "No, young master."

Now that he knew his maids answer, Sam Smiled: "it seems not only Bis-Sis Maya, but you both also need some teachings."

Rose curiously asked: "what teachings young master?"

Sam mystically smiled: "you will experience it soon."

While talking, Sam's group reached an alchemy store.

This store belonged to alchemy association and was looked after by a long white dressed scholar like old-man. Who had a goat-like white beard on his face. This old man was called Padhaku Saleem (Padhaku means studious). And Padhaku was the first-grade alchemist!

From the counter Sam took a small parchment and a quill, then he wrote some herbs name. He gave the list to Padhaku: "bring me these herbs and provide me with an alchemy room."

Listening to Sam's meaning that is he wanted to do alchemy, padhaku snorted inside {Hmph! A young Brat like you want to do alchemy!?}. But he didn't show the contempt he had for Sam on his face, because Sam was his customer.

However, when he glanced the list, his Alchemist Ego was hurt. He flared: "you brat! You want to build a second-grade alchemy pill! Are you out of your mind?"

"do you think you are a second-grade alchemist!? Even I who aged 600 this year is only first-grade alchemist!"

"do you know how hard is it to become....."

But before he could finish his vociferate, Sam showed him the Alchemist licence.

Seeing the card, Padhaku's eyes enlarged, and they nearly bulged out! He was shocked! The licence wasn't of 1st grade or 2nd grade, it was of 3rd grade! And it was a genuine licence issued by alchemist assosiation!

Sam took back his licence: "now can you show me the alchemy room?"

Padhaku came back to his senses. He suddenly bowed and apologized: "This old man has eyes but failed to see a great person like you. Even though it shameless but I beg you to forgive this insolent fool your excellence!"

Padhaku didn't lift his head up. He continued his bowing posture. He was waiting for Sam's forgiveness.

Sam didn't think much about it. Since the opposite party asked for his forgiveness he gave it: "it fine... lift your head up, I forgive you. now Show me the alchemy room."

Only after hearing Sam's forgiveness did Padhaku lift his head up. He inwardly sighed, {thankfully this great alchemist pardoned my rudeness... Now I really feel shame being rude to such benevolent character!}.

Padhaku brought Sam to an alchemy Room which was just backside of the alchemy store. Molly and Rose also followed behind.

Shortly, Padhaku brought the listed herbs, and after giving the herbs to Sam he nervously just stood there.

And seeing Padhaku wanted to say something, Sam asked: "what is it?"

Padhaku anxiously spoke-out: "your excellence, can you allow me to watch your alchemy process?"

Letting Padhaku watch his alchemy was a simple thing to Sam. But to Padhaku it could be a life-changing chance. Means, Padhaku could gain some enlightenment from just watching Sam's alchemy, and could break to the second-grade alchemist stage!

Since Sam was using Padhaku's things for his purpose, he decided to let padhaku watch his alchemy: "ok, then observe it."

Sam's words were like sweet melodies to Padhaku's ears. He was pleasantly surprised. Respect towards Sam increased in his heart, he thanked Sam: "thanks for giving me a chance, your excellence."

Sam nodded then he took the black-cauldron which was already present in this room. He lit the origins fire just below the cauldron, and then he put the main herb inside the cauldron.

while doing alchemy, he asked: "what do you think.... what differentiates the first-grade herb from a second-grade herb?"

Padhaku Saleem thought for a while, and answered: "mana quantity."

Sam lightly smiled: "yes, you are correct. Since you know this, then tell me why did I put the main herb first instead of putting the auxiliary herbs?"

same as the previous time, Padhaku thought for a while before answering: "it shouldn't matter... if you put the main herb first or last."

Sam replied: "you are wrong, the order matters."

Padhaku didn't believe, he argued: "but I seen senior alchemist putting herbs irregularly and successfully forming pills."

Sam was still burning the main herb. Actually, he was slowing things willingly.

Sam plainly explained: "because they were skilled so they wouldn't care about the order. But I can tell you this for sure, a first-grade alchemist who just entered into second grade would always burn the main herb first."

Sam continued: "and as to why we need to burn the main herb first..... because a second-grade herb has excess mana. Which could become an instability factor if not taken care off. Now observe what I am doing."

Padhaku really felt grateful to Sam for explaining things up. If it were any other third-grade alchemist in Sam's place, he wouldn't even bother with Padhaku.

Sam burned the waste then a sudden sweet-aroma swept through the room: "feel the odour carefully, you could find mana in it.... this is the excess mana one need to remove before liquifying the herb."

Now sam put auxiliary herb inside the cauldron. He then burned the waste. After a while, all the herbs liquified. Then liquid soon condensed and formed 8 yellow coloured pills.

Surprisingly don't know when Padhaku already fell into contemplation.

Sam took seven pills from the cauldron and left with Molly and Rose.

however, the girls sure had interesting expressions... Molly and Rose were looking dumb.
