All right guys, why is this taking so much? Pikachu and Karna, its time to end this so hurry up."

The two of them walked away and then face each other.

"Begin."

Karna used his Growl to initiate the combat and rushed toward Pikachu to use Scratch against him.

Pikachu just used his speed to dodge and the countered Karna with a potent Iron Tail. Karna endured the pain and whipped his tail throwing flames toward Pikachu. The two attacks hit the mark, but the more damaged was Karna as he complained from the pain.

Pikachu used Quick Attack and hit Karna's chest and made him back off. Karna recovered himself from the hit and used Smokescreen, this time it worked smoothly as Pikachu didn't saw Karna rushing at his back.

Before Pikachu could do anything, Karna appeared behind him and used Scratch on him, it was a critical hit that sends Pikachu rolling on the ground.

Pikachu started to stand up again but it seems that he got too much damage from the last attack.

Karna was about to finish him, but suddenly stopped and growl in annoyance as the feel of static did flow through him.

"That's enough, both of you lost."

'Pika!?'

'Charmander chaaar'

"Pikachu you can barely keep standing, if it were not because you managed to paralyze Karna in the last moment, you would have lost. Karna, you lost in the moment that you got paralyzed, if Pikachu was in better conditions he could end this with a Thunder Shock."

This little competition is over! The winner is Butterfree!"

The rest of pokemon started to pull from my jacket to complain.

"You seems very lively today."

"Hi there Misty, you have come very early today. Don't pay attention to them, they are having problems to accept that they lost. Butterfree won fairly."

"I see that your Metapod finally evolved and now he looks less disgusting but I would appreciate if he keeps his distance. I'm not used to dealing with bugs yet."

She approached me and gave me a rice ball that had taken from her bag.

"Today Brock was too busy so I asked him his kitchen, and made a few rice balls." She took another rice ball and began to eat.

"Rice balls huh? Its been a while since I taste one of these. Thanks"

They tasted a bit salty but I ate them anyway. I also took out a few bowls from my bag and fill them with pokeblocks.

"Enjoy your meal guys."

After a while, we finished and my pokemon returned to their pokeball before Misty and I make our way toward the city.

"Has Brock tell you at what time should we pass for him?"

"Hmmm, he said that he would be ready at afternoon but didn't set any specific time."

"Well then, I'll go first toward the pokemon center. While Nurse Joy checks up my pokemon I'll go to the poke mart. Are you coming with me?"

"Sure, why not."

We walked into the building and I gave my pokeballs to Nurse Joy.

"Pikachu, you are in charge. Look after the rest, I'll see you later."

It took me half an hour go to the poke mart and back to the center. I bought 10 pokeballs and restock my potions.

As we entered the pokemon center I see Brock trying to flirt with Nurse Joy, but she just smiled. It seems that she is not paying attention at Brock.

Misty was behind me but did ignore the whole situation.

"I came back Nurse Joy, are my pokemon ready?"

Joy hurried as walk away from Brock.

"Yes, just wait a moment I'll bring them."

Brock just got depressed as Nurse Joy walked into another room. I approached Brock.

"It's a shame, but she is not taking you seriously. So tell me, everything is ready?"

"Yeah, I finished explaining to my father how to look after the house and my siblings."

"All right! We are leaving as soon as Nurse Joy come back."

It takes a few minutes until Nurse Joy came with my pokemon.

"Here. They look really well, you are taking good care of them. "

"Thanks, Nurse Joy, I'll be leaving the city. Goodbye and take care" I smiled before turning around and walking out of the building and toward Route 3.
