21 Training results

The sun will rise soon. It's our third and last day of training, we are going to have some mock battles. Let's see if we can get some exp and maybe level up from it before parting toward Mt. Moon.

"Wake up, Pikachu. We are going to test the results from the training. Maybe that would help you to finally got your new move."

I took Metapod and walked out of the old building, Pikachu had already climbed to my shoulder. I've been testing some boxing moves, I don't really learn it in my past life but I used to read Hajime no Ippo and at least I know how to throw some jabs. I'm going to test it against Mankey, he doesn't really know how to throw fast punches. If he can learn how to do it, that will be awesome.

"Come out guys, its time to eat." They appeared in front of me and I grabbed the four pokeballs that I had thrown. I served them their pokeblocks on the bowls that I had taken from my bag and wait for them to finish. I walked to a nearby tree and found a place to sit, I ate some hard bread that left from yesterday and drank water. I hope Misty bring me something tasty today...

After a few minutes, my pokemon already finish their breakfast and were about to start to train. I stood up and went close to them.

"Wait, today we are not going to train. Instead, we're going to have some mock battles. The winner will be excepted of basic training for two whole weeks. A flame appeared into their eyes.

Who should be the first ones?

"Pidgey and Karna, you two are going first. I'll be the one who decides when one of you already lost. Begin!"

As soon as I indicated the start of the battle, Karna rushed toward Pidgey and whips his tail throwing flames. Pidgey just used his wings to produce a Gust of wind and prepared himself to use Tackle.

Karna seeing this, used Smokescreen to hide. That was a good plan, it's a shame that Pidgey had could see through his Smokescreen and hit him sending him rolling on the ground.

Pidgey was about to use Tackle again but Karna whipped tail while using Ember at the last moment and made Pidgey back off. He got away with just a few burns on his wings. He could keep fighting, but had bad luck...he got burned and he will need to finish this hurry if he wants to win.

Karna stood up and growled reducing Pidgey's attack, then started to run searching for a chance to attack. He doesn't know many moves, this could be hard for him. He prepared himself to throw an Ember again.

Pidgey flew higher and started to use Air Cutter. The powerful wind turned into blades clashed against the flames and created an explosion. After that, I stopped the battle. Pidgey will faint if he keeps fighting like this, I fed him a Rawst berry to heal the burn.

The two of them got some experience from the battle, Pidgey is Level 12 and Karna is already Level 15.

"Pikachu and Mankey are the next."

They faced each other. This fight will be interesting.

"Begin!"

Mankey didn't even wait for a second and threw a kick at Pikachu, but it was too slow. Pikachu easily dodged the kick and used Quick attack hitting at Mankey from the side and then got away from him.

Pikachu uses Tail Whip to reduce Mankey's defenses. It works smoothly but Mankey uses this chance to use Focus Energy and rushed toward Pikachu again. The strength on his legs is amazing, a second later he was next to Pikachu and preparing his Karate Chop. Pikachu used Iron Tail to clash against Mankey's attack.

Pikachu rolls on the ground before stood up again, Mankey was pissed off as he could not finish the combat with that attack. He kicks the ground and hurried toward Pikachu, this will be the last attack. Pikachu meets him with a Thunder Shock and paralyzes him.

Pikachu wrapped himself in electricity and sprinted toward Mankey. His speed was not very fast, this attack is less like a Quick Attack and more like a regular Tackle. I think that it was called Spark.

The attack crushed Mankey defenses and made him fall on his knees.

I declared Pikachu as the winner, and remove the paralyze effect from Mankey with a berry.

Pikachu became Level 12 and Mankey turned Level 14.

I did Rattata fight against Metapod. It was a weird fight.

Metapod started to Harden himself and use String Shot against Rattata.

On the other hand, Rattata tried to use all his attacks but any of them could surpass Metapod's defenses. In the end, Rattata could not move because of the silk strings. Metapod just used Tackle against him until I stopped the fight.

"That was awesome Metapod, you actually won!"

He started to shine and a moment later he turned into his evolved form.

"Congratulations buddy, you have become a wonderful Butterfree."

'freeee freeeeeeee'

Rattata didn't get any experience from that battle, but Butterfree became Level 10. I don't know what to think about that...
