7 Starter

At last, the next week will be the day that I'm going to start my journey to become a champion.

I did squeeze every moment that i have for training my body, my bastardized "American Plan Dream" really works. The damage in my muscles build up and trigger my "Strong will" skill, this one has get to Intermediate 1. Now it give me a second passive apart from damage reduction. [Strong Will] supress paralisis and cofusion attacks.

My [Movement] skill also has grown and now is Intermediate 3. An active skill was created after I got the intermediate rank. [Dash] is a skill that increases my speed 50% for 30sec, but the consumes of stamina increase 2 times.

These two skills are really a life insurance.

My continuous meditation has given me an [Aura Mastery] skill, but this just eases the use of aura. I can expand my aura a couple of meters, it can help me to detect people or pokemon close to me and their intentions.

The reason why I've been training this and not my [Pokemon Breeding] skill, is that this skill has stopped to grow after hit Beginner 9. And I think that is because I don't own any pokemon.

I got a surprise this month, after study pokemon for so many years I got a Skill really useful. [Eye of the soul] is a skill that concentrates aura in my eyes and let me visualize basic stats from pokemon.

I've been using this constantly and it got Beginner 7 at no time. I wonder what would give me after it becomes Intermediate rank.

Gary: "What are you doing here Ash? It's your turn to clean the yards" He said with a smirk.

Troublesome...just because he got lucky last time we play cards.

Ash: "Be quiet, I said that I will do it and I'm going to." I walk away while scratching behind my head. Gary has become a good player in this last years. He can make really good combinations and not just copy what he said on tv.

Let's see. I'm sure that the cleaning room was here. It has passed to many years since I come here, usually is Gary the one that comes. He is a good slave.

After I walk for a minute I find the door, at least I think is the right one. As I walk close I hear some noise. It cant be that some thief has come to steal the pokemon right?

I hurry up and expand my aura, I need to be prepared for sneak attacks.

Then my aura sense who was here. A smirk did draw in my lips.

Ash: "There is no need to hide, Pikachu. I know that you are here."

I can sense that he is getting nervous.

"You should not be destroying that wires if Oak catch you, you would be given to some stupid trainer that cant gets a real starter." I can see him with the corner of the eye, he is getting irritated, I should not tease him too much.

I decide to walk away, but before leaving I see him from behind my should.

"You better take my words seriously. If not, maybe it would be me who come to catch you."

Ok now...where the f*uck were that clean tools?

The week has passed really quickly. Today is the day.

Mom: "Ash, how good that you have already wake up! Remember that Prof. Oak told you to be at his lab. before 10 a.m."

I'm currently eating mom's food like no tomorrow, I will miss her and her food too much.

Ash: "Thanks for the meal!"

I get up and walk to the lab, it's early but I don't have any other thing to do.

There is no one in the lab, so I did decide to find a tree's shade and wait there.

At some time later, two silhouettes appear to be coming closer.

Gary: "And I was thinking that you would be enough of an idiot for oversleeping."

Daisy: "Don't be mean with your friends Gary."

Gary: "Who are friends?"

I faked some tears at that.

Ash: "And here I was thinking that we were best friends."

Daisy comes closer and hugs me while stroking my head. I looked at Gary with a smirk while he was getting irritated.

Gary: "Get away from her!"

Ash: "tch, be quiet. I was enjoying myself there." Daisy pinches my cheek while she smiles.

Daisy: "That it was not a very good thing to do, Ash-boy"

Ash: "Please don't tease me Sister Daisy" that triggered Gary.

Gary: "She is my sister, now yours!"

Ash: "I know, its all right that way..."

I walked close to Gary and whisper him.

Ash: "After all...a brother and a sister cant be married" He freezes. This is funny.

Daisy has come back to Pallet Town some days ago, she comes to help Prof. Oak because his two assistants are running away. She has become Champion in the last Kanto grand festival, she is happy and her dreams has become true. Gary looked at me seriously.

Gary: "Today I will start my journey to become the most powerful trainer. I will show you that to become a Pokemon Master is not something that you can learn from books.

Ash: "Whatever you say..."

huh? wait a moment, maybe this could work. I looked at Gary.

Ash: "What do you think about making a bet?" a little smirk appears in my face.

Gary: 'What kind of bet?

I faked innocence while putting my hands up.

Ash: "Something simple. After we have our starter, we will fight. The winner can give an order to the loser. The loser cannot disobey that order."

Gary: "Just enough." He nods.

The prof. Oak come to the lab. Together with him, there was a girl, she has long hair and a hat.

Prof. Oak: "You are already here, good. Let me introduce you, she is Leaf. She also comes here to get her starter and would be helping me to fill the Pokedex. Just like you.

Leaf? also known as Green? that crazy chick?

Gary did blush at her. Seriously gary? look at that smirk. She is sinister you don't know what are you getting into.

Ash: "Oh, hello there"

She looks creepy with that smile, it's a luck that she will be wandering and not getting in my way.

Prof. Oak: "All right kids, as you know the starter Pokemon in Kanto are:

The type Grass/Poison Bulbasaur.

The type Water: Squirtle.

And the type Fire: Charmander.

what will you choose?"

Let's see, I'm going to need luck for this. I would change my title to "The chosen one" to boost my LUK.

Gary: "Ladies first." he said, pointing Leaf.

She looked at me.

Leaf: "Are you okay with that?" I shrug.

Ash: "I don't really care, go on."

Leaf: "OK then I'm going first!"

She approached the pokeballs and after contemplating them for a while. She picked up Bulbasaur.

Prof.Oak: "Did you wish to give him a name?"

Leaf looked at Bulbasaur. He doesn't think to like a new name.

'Bulba! Bulbasaaaur!'

Leaf: I think that he is alright as is it.

Prof. Oak: "Right, who is the next?" He looked at both of us.

Ash: "If Gary wants, he can choose now."

He doesn't like that comment, as he looked irritated.

Gary: "You will regret not to take me seriously."

He approached and take Squirtle.

'Squir!Squir!' Gary smirked as his Squirtle.

Gary: "I don't like to put names."

Ash: "Fine, now it's my turn." As I approached Charmander Pokeball I feel that he was special.

As he gets out from the Pokeball I see that his skin was orange yellowish. I can't help but smile, he really is special. He opens his eyes and got scared. If I'm right this Charmander nature is timid. He is pure gold.

Prof. Oak: "This little one is a little fearful, other Charmanders exclude him for his color, but i know that he can become a stronger pokemon. Did you wish to give him a name?"

A name? certainly, it would be helpful if I got Damian's Charmander later...

Gary: Hurry up and prepare to fight!

Prof. Oak: huh...certainly. A fight would make the link between you get stronger.

I see that Charmander was starting to doubt and use my aura to make it know that I trust him.

He looked at me and nodded with determination in his eyes,

Ash: "We are ready."
