132 Chapter 132. A left behind aide.

Aeinshia walked out of the tent and looked around to see, that the sky was now taking color, indicating the upcoming sun. The birds were flying around enthusiastically.

All the guards were standing in rows in front of their respective commanders. Their families were standing in the sidelines. Some ladies were having proud and sad smiles, were some were crying softly and fear was clear in their eyes.

Aeinshia stared at those ladies for sometime wondering if they too were facing some problems like her, but then brushed them off and continued on her way towards Felix.

Felix was standing beside the Emperor, who was standing in from of the crowd, ready to address them and wish them luck for the success of their mission.

The guards were standing in their positions with their respective weapons. Alexander was standing in front of Evan and General Hendrel, who were expected to be leaving anytime soon.

Their troop would be going to the East, while the other small group would be going around the capital and to the parts where the security was needed to be increased.

General Charles was also, clad in his armor, as he had to go around the capital and check the forest around the capital for safety purposes. He had a small troop with around twenty five members behind him. He was standing a but far away from the leaving group, as they would be addressed after the Crown Prince would leave.

Aeinshia watched Evan, who was standing proudly and determinedly infront of his own troop. He looked every bit of intimidating and authoritative leader, that he is.

Aeinshia gripped onto the golden handle of the dagger given by Evan, tightly. It was as if, she was trying to hold onto him, stop him from going and go far away from all these empire duties and live a happy life.

But, that was all a dream and it was never going to happen. And, she would only hurt herself more, with these kind of hopes.

Felix looked at his little sister and saw her holding soemthing. He peeked a little and saw it was small dagger. He wondered, where she got that from. But, he eventually noticed the sharp blade and the golden handle. And, he understood.

It didnt take a mastermind to figure out, what she was holding. It was Evan's dagger. He looked to the front and saw Evan, standing with his hand on his sword and bowed lightly to his father, who had stepped forward to give his words.

He smiled at Evan. He realized that Evan would take care of his sister with his whole heart. Though, they were betrothed, Felix understood Evan loved Aeinshia with his whole heart. The fact, that he gave his personal and royal dagger to her, gives away the fact.

Handing the royal dagger to someone, means, you are ready to your life in line to protect and live them. And, as a brother, what more did he want than his sister's husband to love her, like he and his father did.

Alexander stepped towards Evan, who bowed to him and stood up again. Evan was still a bit smaller than Alexander, so, he had to look up a bit at Alexander. Alexander simply smiled and patted his shoulder and again took a step back.

"Seazle Soldiers. It is now time for you to depart for your mission. I hope you would succeed and I wish all the luck and blessing of our elders would be with you. Remember, whatever happens, our empire and our vision should not fade away." He spoke out in a authoritative tone.

He made sure to look around the crowd in front of him, trying to take in akk the expressions on their faces. He was doing the last minute scan of the soldiers. Sometimes, there maybe infiltrators among them, who would back stab them.

Evan, the Crown Prince was going out of the capital this time. So. this mission was very crucial. Not only for the empire, but to him and to Evan as well. There is a wide scope for attack on their troop. And, he couldn't take any chances with the life of his son.

After he was satisfied with all the soldiers, he raised his right hand, balled his palm in to fist and shouted, "Long live Seazle empire."

This sentence caused the soldiers and all of them, to yell out in chorus, "Long live Seazle empire." They continued the chant for three times, the families of the soldiers too, joining them.

Once they stopped, they all did a final bow towards the Emperor to show their respect and soon, were seen dispersing. Evan and General Hendrel marched to the back of the soldiers crowd and mounted their waiting horses.

When, they were safely mounted, they were ready to go. And, like that, Evan was on his way to complete his first ever mission as a Crown Prince, to restrore the peace in one of the parts of his Seazle empire.

Alexander, Felix, Aeinshia and General Charles Wilson, were standing in their places and saw the retreating crowd of the Prince into the Capital streets.

Totally missing out the sign that the Crown Prince was giving to someone who was standing at the entrance of the Palace gates.

After the families of the soldiers went out of the Palace grounds, after their madatory checking, Alexander sighed and looked around and his eyes fell on the other troop wit General Wilson, talking to the seemingly main head of the troop. He approached them, and the men dispersed into their places.

"General Wilson, is everything prepared according to what was ordered?" Alexander asked, while clasping his hands at his back. Charles bowed to him, "Yes, your highness. Eveything is organized and gave out the plan to the head. He would seeing everything. But, to implant I would be personally going to ensure, there won't be any scope of spying from the other people."

After Charles reported all the required information. Alexander decided it was time for their dispatch as well. He ordered them do all of this as silent as possible, there should be no scope for anything or anyone getting suspicious, about their moves.

After he was done with all that, the sky cleared up even more and the it was now a mixed shade of light and dark blue and black. The sun was yet, to rise. He sighed heavily, when the Palace grounds were almost empty.

He turned back and saw both the Rutz siblings, standing awkwardly beside each other. Felix was looking at something, seemingly in deep thoughts with heavy frown, while Aeinshia seemed to be distracted, with an object in her hands.

Alexander walked towards them and stood before them. Both of them, seemed to awake from which ever world they were in. They both seemed so, bewildered by his sudden presence.

If situation wasn't so sad and heavy around them, Alexander would have laughed at them and teased them, as they both looked awfully similar to each other. But, he didnt. He knew, what was up with them. One was guilty, while other....

He didnt understand what emotion was Aeinshia exactly feeling. Her ocean blue eyes, seem to reflect a whole lot mixture of emotions. He wondered what was she feeling at this point. Her face was set into an unreadable expression. Though, he can't read her feelings, he can't help but feel like he has experienced those feelings, that she was going through.

Her whole aura, today was giving out a hard and unexplaimable sad vibes. He tilted his head, trying to study his niece's mind, by some means, but couldn't. He realized, he had something to talk to them and featured them to follow him.

They reached inside the Palace, with a man following closely behind them. The trio of uncle, nephew and niece were walking unaware of the person following them. The person stopped and his behind a pillar, not sure what to do, when he saw them go towards Emperor's chambers.

"I swear to Holy God. I shouldn't have listened to you, you manipulator. I'll make sure to get back to you, when I have a chance, Crown Prince Evan Seazle." The person muttered with gritted teeth and proceeded to go out of the Palace.

Few minutes ago, before Evan left:

Evan walked out of the tent and spotted Peter talking with the head of his troop. Even though, they and their commander, to keep all the soldiers in place a head was appointed.

He walked over to them, and the head guard looked at him and bowed. Peter turned to see, who it was and found Evan gesturing him to come aside.

Peter excused himself and went with Evan, who was speed walking to the side, where no one can hear them.

"What is it, Evan? You seem worried. Any problem?" Peter inquired his best friend.

Evan looked at him and his expression cane as a surprise to Peter. "Peter, I need a favor from you." Peter was utterly taken aback by this request. Evan never talked like this to him.

Peter just gave a question mark face to him and Evan bkurted out what he wanted, "I want you to stay behind and guard Aeinshia."

Peter's eyes widened at his request, "What are you talking about? I'm your aide, I'm supposed to guard you. The Emperor would surely not accept for this." Peter whisper shouted at Hus friend's odd request.

"Peter, understand. You know I won't ask for something I'm not sure of. I can protect myself well and a whole lot of strong soldiers are with me. But, Aeinshia... I don't know I feel like, she is in some kind of danger.

I know Father would take care of her. But, I feel like you would be right person, who could guard her and ensure her safety. You are the only one I can trust with anything. I would handle if Father says anything. You just guard her. Take it as my order.

Believe me, Peter. I won't be asking this from you, if I don't have this feeling."

Evan was almost pleading at that point, with pleading eyes and Peter couldn't do anything, but sigh.

And, thats how Peter ended up staying behind, with a secret mission given by Crown Prince Evan to guard Princess Aeinshia Rutz.
