Chapter 221 - Laughing around
Raising her head, Jinhee looked towards the one who slammed her hand on the table, and seeing Jinkyung, she narrowed her eyes. Jinkyung's hair was messy, and her eyes were red and swollen as if she had cried.
Wrinkles was visible in her t-shirt, and Jinhee furrowed her eyebrows, wondering about what could have happened. Jinkyung's eyes glared upon her.
"Jinhee, do you really have the mood to be laughing around and eating at this moment?" Jinkyung questioned— her voice holding anger.
Jinhee nodded.
Jinkyung groaned and vocalised, "It might not matter to you, but, Jinhee, can you not be considerate of others. Grandfather is hospitalized yet you're laughing around here! You're really out of line and disrespectful! After all that Grandfather Youngchul had done for you, the least you can do is visit him at the hospital."
Jinhee left no emotions towards Lee Youngchul. From as when Jinhee could clearly remember Youngchul ignored other than when he had to reprimand her, and now hearing that he was hospitalized made Jinhee have no shift of emotions.
"So?" Jinhee raised one of her eyebrows.
Pushing her chair back, Jinhee stepped towards Jinkyung, and staring at her straight in the eyes, she said, "If I go there and cry, will Lee Youngchul come alive? He did not visit me when I am injured. What makes you think that I will be visiting him? Moreover, now that I am the fiancée of Han Taeho, what do you really believe he is worthy of my presence?"
Noticing the phone which was gripped tightly within Jinkyung's hand, Jinhee asked, "Are you recording all this? Sure, do that then. However, what do you think Han Family will do to you when you release it online, especially since it concerns their reputation?"
Extending her hand towards Jinhee, Jinkyung grabbed Jinhee by Jinhee's collar and pulled Jinhee closer to her. Jinkyung did not find herself being a better mood with her plans being found out.
"Lee Jinhee, you're really a jerk! Our Lee Family would be better off without you! How can you abandon your family just because you're engaged to Han Taeho? With your actions, you are making everyone cry! Can't you see that?" Jinkyung voiced out.
Raising her hand, Jinhee tightly gripped Jinkyung's wrist and moved it away from her. Smiling towards Jinkyung, she said, "You never know when I could be recording all these. Jaehyun is back, so concentrate on getting his heart. However, even if you try hard, both of us know the final result. It will forever be unrequited love."
"Lee Jinhee! You're really going far now," Jinkyung vocalised, "I swear that I will be taking Jaehyun Oppa's heart, and show your position to you in the end. You wouldn't be able to act this haughty for long. Sooner or later, Taeho would see your true character and abandon you."
With that, Jinkyung turned her back on Jinhee and stomped away— her footsteps creating loud noises. Jinhee did not understand what Jinkyung acheived by doing that. Nonetheless, the taste of victory did not seem bad to her.
Taehyun voiced out, "I also wish Taeho would abandon you as well."
Turning her head, Jinhee looked towards him and flashed him a wide smile. She then vocalised, "Even if he abandons me, you'll be last on my dating list."
Smirking towards Jinhee, he said, "That dating list of yours has only one person, and that's me. So, it doesn't matter whether or not I am last or first."
Before Jinhee could retort back, Taehyun extended his hands toward her and wrapped them around her waist. As he pulled her towards him, she sat down on the chair, and a surprised gasp left her mouth.
"Now, don't talk too much, and eat up first. You have a long day ahead of you," Taeho vocalised.
Hearing his words, she nodded.
As Jinhee continued to eat, she recalled about something, and raising her head, she looked towards Han Taehyun. Indecisiveness was present in her eyes.
She then questioned, "Do you think I should visit Lee Youngchul?"
Taehyun vocalised, "It depends upon you. You'd be considered disrespectful if you don't, and I understand if you wouldn't want to visit him."
"I don't want a new drama in school. I'll go and visit him for half an hour when I take a walk outside. I need some air anyway," Jinhee vocalised.

Ten minutes— that's for how long she had visited Lee Youngchul before walking out of the hospital. He apparently had a cardiac arrest, and a part of Jinhee wondered about the reason behind it.
He did not have any such incidents in her last life, and Jinhee wondered whether or not this was related to the changes she had made in this life of hers.
Han Taehyun was busy with some tasks and therefore, wasn't able to accompany her. Without Taehyun's presence, everything felt quite empty to Jinhee.
Soyeon, dressed in casual clothing, followed after Jinhee, and as Jinhee was about to call for a taxi, she noticed an old man standing at the footpath, unable to cross the road due to the crowd.
Deciding to help out that old man, Jinhee turned towards Soyeon and said, "Wait a minute."
Soyeon nodded.
As Jinhee went towards the old man, Soyeon walked after her, and bending down at the man's height, she questioned, "Ahjusshi, I'll be helping you."
Raising his head, the old man smiled towards her and said, "Really? Thank you, Dear."
Holding man's shoulder, Jinhee helped him through the crowd whilst trying to push the crowd with her other hand. Soyeon followed after her, and when she finally managed to go over to the other side with the old man, she let go of him.
Bowing at him and smiling politely, she asked, "Ahjusshi, will you be fine now?"
The old man nodded and vocalised, "I'll be fine now, Dear. What is your name?"
"I am called Jinhee, Lee Jinhee, Ahjusshi. I'll be going then," Jinhee stated.
"Go on then," The old man said as Jinhee turned her back on him and walked to find a taxi with Soyeon.
The smile on old man's face stayed as he stared upon Jinhee's back.
Wrinkles was visible in her t-shirt, and Jinhee furrowed her eyebrows, wondering about what could have happened. Jinkyung's eyes glared upon her.
