131 Chapter 131: Watcher

Grold's face began to twist into a creepy smile and muttered once again.

"Switch!"

But soon, Grold's face froze as it noticed it couldn't be able to use its Fate divine spell!

"Stupid goblin, look at your necklace. You already used your divine spell." Abium said while kicking its head and took out another blue colored scroll from his shirt. At the same time, Grold began to wake up from the shock and chant in an abyssal language.

Of course, Abium wouldn't allow this sneaky goblin to finish its chanting. Without any delay, he took out a torn cloth from his spatial ring and stuffed it inside its mouth.

If he were up against any second-tier mage, he would have burned to death before he could even speak a word. Thankfully, he was up against a goblin shaman and was also a stupid one at that.

After that, he quickly tied up Grold using strong ropes near to a tree and removed the cloth from its mouth.

"Stupid inferior elf, release this great Lord Grold now. My master is Alius, and if you kill me now, it is equally as offending him." It didn't have any fear in its eyes and said with an arrogant tone. Abium became stunned by its behavior and became more puzzled.

'Why is this goblin speaking to me arrogantly?' Abium frowned deeply and asked.

"Why did you put a tracking curse on me?"

As Abium finished his words, it stopped its blabbering and gave him a serious look then asked a question instead of answering.

"How did you find out about my curse? Also, how did you even able to remove it?" Abium could see its eyes were filled with full of curiosity. But how could Abium reveal his secrets to the enemy? He shrugged his shoulder and stared at Grold for the answer.

Soon, Grold also noticed its position and answered unwillingly.

"Kekeh, It's because you spoiled our plan. Although Alius is my master, that doesn't mean I can't do other works independently. I got an offer from my new boss. If I finish a few works, I will get my freedom back. He also promised me that he would give me a high position in the Abyss. Everything went perfect until you came and ruined everything." Grold let of a creaky laugh and punched its tied hand against the tree in frustration.

"Then, what is your boss's relationship with the Order of the Dead?" Abium nodded at that Grold's explanation and continued to ask.

A look of astonishment appeared on Grold's face and replied with an evil smirk.

"Heh, I didn't expect you would see through our disguise. I will tell you honestly now. It is my boss's mission. Well, even I don't know much about him and his missions. All I know is there are many people out there like him who could manipulate strange powers." As Abium heard those words, he felt a chill run down to his spines!

After a long silence, he looked into that goblin's evil yellow eyes and asked directly.

"What do you know about me?" It was what he needed to know most.

"Pfff! You? Well, you don't have to think of you as some hero or savior. You are just a pathetic Seer who got blessed by a broken star. Puny elf, I will tell you one little secret." Grold suddenly stopped smiling and continued with seriousness on its face. "He has some big plans for you. He needs your seer power very much. Keke, if you use your brain properly, you may reap some big rewards in return."

As it finished its words, Abium let out a sigh.

'Broken Star? What is that? Well, I will search for that later.' Abium raised his eyebrows and soon sighed inwardly.

'Well, it seems even the Fate divinity holder didn't find out anything about that mysterious fountain which linked to my soul.' Abium's lips curled upward, and soon shifted his eyes towards that tied goblin. As he was pondering how to deal with that guy, he suddenly thought of a big problem. He knew nothing about that Fate divinity holder guy. Abium turned his expression serious and asked curiously.

"What is your boss's name? I'm curious to know."

A low chuckle came from Grold's mouth as it shakes his head while replying.

"Even I don't know his real name. But he goes by the alias name 'Watcher.'" As his words fell, Abium's expression froze.

'I think I heard that name somewhere in the past.' Abium got puzzled for a bit and soon shook his head.

'Should I kill this goblin now?' But he dismissed that thought immediately. He knew killing this goblin would only make things worse. Although he didn't know why this goblin followed after him, he could guess it must have something to do with the Watcher. He didn't want to beat around the bush, so he directly asked.

"Why are you here?"

"Well, I just came here to monitor you. We don't want someone to sneak into our group and then f*ck up the whole plan like last time. But I didn't expect you would go in a different direction." It said with an annoying tone and quickly spat out three words in the abyssal tongue. The next instant, the whole rope became loose, and Grold stood up with an arrogant expression on its face then continued.

"If you didn't use some strange power to confuse me, I would have killed you long ago."

Abium stared amusingly at Grold and shook his head. He could tell this goblin was not bluffing. But even if this goblin had a few strange artifacts, Abium was not afraid at all.

Meanwhile, goblin Grold suddenly started walking towards where Yozis's body was laid and then started picking up his spatial ring. Soon, Grold looked at that ring with greedy eyes and was about to store it inside its spatial ring shamelessly, but then stopped. The next moment, its whole body stiffened up.

"What are you doing?" Grold asked with full of displeasure while turning its head slowly. Meanwhile, Abium stood behind that Grold while placing the kitchen knife on its' nape. But Grold didn't dare to underestimate this elf as it saw a layer of red-colored aura covered the whole knife. That steel knife was almost on the verge of breaking due to the aura.

'Advanced sword aura!' Astonishment appeared on its face!

"If you try to do something funny, I won't show you any mercy," Abium said with a chilling tone and snatched Yozis' spatial ring from the goblin. He didn't even mind that goblin's hateful look and silently tossed it into his spatial ring.

"Humph, I will deal with you when I return to the tower." Grold spat on the ground and grounded its teeth. It knew Yozis had many magic stones and white gold coins. Grold thought if it marked that ring with its spiritual imprint, this stupid elf would become helpless even if he snatched Yozis's ring from it. But it didn't expect this elf would see through its plan.

"So, do you know how to get out of this Fex's dimension?" Abium asked while glancing at Grold.

"Of course, I know." Grold stopped its talking while gave Abium an evil smirk then continued.

"But, I won't tell you that method unless you kneel in front of this Mighty Lord Grold and beg for my forgiveness." Grold suddenly realized it had the precious Dimension-travel stone and laughed wickedly. It was going to threaten this puny elf using this stone and completely rob him.

But soon, its laugher stopped as it saw Abium was standing there while looking at Grold with pity.

"Idiot elf! Why are you looking at me like that?!" Grold was so enraged by Abium's behavior and hissed angrily.

"I don't have any time to fool around with you, moron. Look, in this Fex dimension, time flows seven times faster than the Easica plane. So, even if I stay here for fourteen years, only two years would have passed in the Easica plane. I can wait here for fourteen years to increase my strength then get out on my own using other methods. But what about your boss? Can he wait?" Abium words made Grold's expression to shock and then into disbelief.

"H-How did you know?!" It stuttered while staring at him with a perplexed expression on its face. After a few moments only, it came to its senses and understood everything.

It nodded its head in understanding. It had almost ruined their whole plan, so it didn't wish to stay in this strange dimension any longer. It quickly took out a blue crystalline stone that had multiple minute arrays inscribed on it.

But as soon as it took out that bluestone, Abium grabbed that crystal and snatched it rudely from its hand. Meanwhile, Grold looked at its hand and then turned to Abium with a shocked expression on its face.

"I will come back to this place after eight months. Till then, stay alive!" Abium said while snapping his finger. Then, two crimson wings appeared on his back while burning the nearby tree branches. Without waiting for Grold's answer, Abium flapped his both wings forcefully and shot like a bullet towards the sky. Meanwhile, Grold stood there with a blank expression on its face, and soon its face turned into a twisted one. A raging howl came out from its mouth, and it's started cursing in the abyssal language!

...

Abium, on the other hand, made a detailed plan to exploring this Fex dimension. He didn't waste any time and started to search for any useful materials. Abium also noticed the divine power inside that fragment was beginning to decrease and sighed helplessly. He soon flew towards the other side of that volcanic mountain range and arrived at that strange Fire temple a few hours later.

Then, he continuously started absorbing the remaining divine power from the fragments and began constructing the remaining first-tier spells.

For the next two months, Abium mostly spent his time increasing his spirit and constructing his remaining three first-tier spells.

First, he chose the 'Mirage' spell model's corresponding spell model called Aura of Hallucination. This spell could directly attack the opponent's mind and confuses their sense with reality and make them fall asleep for a short moment. This spell could conceal its effect and make them think they were not affected by any spell.

It was a real hallucination effect. Abium instantly chose this spell as he understood its' effects. If he cast this spell along with Mind freeze, he could be even able to confuse most of the second tier mages for a split second.

He also had the 'Miracle star' bracelet, which would help him take away his enemy's luck. With his Miracle star artifact, Seer's intuition spell, Quick-thinking divine spell, and his magic spells, he would be pretty much invincible when facing against first-tier mages. After constructing that Aura of Hallucination spell, he started constructing the Teleportation spell.

With the first-tier Teleportation spell, Abium could teleport to any place willingly in his surrounding 2km radius. After constructing that spell, Abium noticed the divine power inside the divine fragment was also emptied. Moreover, Abium felt he couldn't be able to increase his spirit above 120 spirit power. He felt some invisible force was obstructing him from moving forward. The next instant, Abium knew he had reached the bottleneck.

After some thought, he decided to construct his final spell after three months.

"Azolla, what did you find about this invisible force?" Abium asked suddenly. He felt this mysterious shackle was done by someone who had a deep grudge against their Easica plane.

"This is some god's work, kid. If my guess is not wrong, this god must be as strong as Nature Mother Goddess or even stronger." Her words made Abium stiffen up.

'An entity that is stronger than the Mother Nature goddess?' Abium instantly thought of two gods. One was the Light god Welo, while the other was the Goddess of Justice Qrevna. But he didn't think they would do something so despicable like this.

After thinking for a while, he shook his head and cast those thoughts away. Even if he did found out the culprit, he didn't have any strength even to argue. After a long silence, Abium finally took out Yozis's spatial ring and imprinted with his spirit. Then, soon his lips started to arch upward and formed into a smile.

'Heheh, I didn't expect this guy has so much wealth. Three thumb-sized fire elemental crystal, 30 high tier magic stones, 3,500 white gold coins, a high tier long sword created using Dark silver, hundreds of intermediate and low tier magic stones. Not bad.' Abium was deeply astounded by the necromancer Yozis's wealth. After transferring all the wealth into his spatial ring, he walked out of the Fire Temple and began to explore.

Under Azolla's guidance, he chose safer areas to adventure and collected important herbs and other materials for potioneering. He even managed to find two rare Ghost fruits, a bottle of Purple Lar resins, and a single Star leaf, the main ingredient for Saint rank potion.

Well, he didn't know the meaning behind that Saint rank potion and found out a shocking truth from Azolla that it was a warrior potion. After warriors advanced into a peak ninth tier, they would found it impossible to breakthrough.

So, ancient potion masters did countless researches and finally found a potion called Saint Potion during ancient times. Abium had never heard of anyone who surpassed eighth tier warrior strength and got astounded by that news. Although Azolla didn't have any memory of that potion formula, she told him that he could get similar formulas in Large Empires.

After hearing her words, he became more curious and already thought of getting one Saint Potion formula. Abium didn't waste much time and began to concentrate his full attention on exploring.

At the beginning of the ninth month, 300 km away from the Fire Temple.

As usual, Abium was exploring a strange ruined city stealthily and suddenly stopped.

'I feel a familiar power nearby.' A look of alarm appeared on his face. He glanced around the surroundings and then frowned deeply.

'Kid, it's the divine power.' Azolla said excitedly.

'Can you able to pinpoint the exact location?' Abium asked while concentrating his full attention on the faint divine power in the atmosphere. Due to the constant exposure of his soul with time divine power, his sense to detect that strange power was heightened.

'Yes. I feel dense divine power from your right side.' Azolla said calmly. Abium got startled and then hastened his footsteps towards that direction.

After five hours, Abium stood outside at the entrance wall of a small ruined temple covered entirely in poisonous vines and looked at with full of confusion on his face.

'Temple? Is this temple related to that Fire temple?' Abium creased his brows and looked around cautiously. Most of the outer walls were utterly broken, and only the dome-shaped Temple stood at the center firmly. Abium also saw a large silver bell at the entrance gate and furrowed his brows while trying to walk near to it. But the next moment, his face turned solemn, and quickly gripped his sword tighter.

'Seer's intuition is warning me!' He halted his footsteps and noticed there was a strange pattern drawn on the Bell's shoulder.
