90 Bursts!

Lucia narrowed her eyes, "My sister is outside?" She mumbled and a murderous glint flashed through her beautiful scarlet eyes.

Dro stood up from the coffin and turned around, looking at Lucia, "She is, but don't attack her. Neither one of us is strong enough to do anything to her," he said with a serious expression on his face.

Lucia lowered her head and sighed. Her face returned to normal and she raised her head, looking at Dro, "I know…" she said and thought, "Erylis has succeeded our father and his strength became her strength…" She furrowed her eyebrows, "How many years have passed since she became the queen?"

Dro shook his head, "I don't know but does that matter?" he said with a confused expression on his face.

Lucia nodded, "It matters and more than you think. One king or queen rules for ten thousand years. After this time has passed, they pass their accumulated power to a descendant via a ritual. Once the power is passed on, it doesn't manifest all at once, but in bursts. The first burst happens 1 year after the ritual. The second burst – 5 years, third – 10 years, fourth – 50 years, fifth – 100 years, sixth – 250 years, seventh – 500 years, eighth – 1000 years, ninth – 2000 years and tenth – 5000 years," Lucia said and thought, "Before I was poisoned with Hawthorn father was at the verge of being a true vampire, he might have become one, after I fell asleep… Erylis will become a true vampire that much is certain. If father was at the verge of being a true vampire it will be the seventh burst but if he was a true vampire it will be on the fourth burst."

Dro furrowed his eyebrows, "So if Erylis had been the queen for 49 years then her level might jump up even tomorrow," he thought and said, "If we want to kill her we have to find out when she became the queen or she might gain another burst during our fight and turn the tide."

Lucia nodded, "Yes, and that is why the first thing we need to do is find out the exact time she became the queen."

"Erylis sees me as a true vampire, I only need to ask and she will answer," Dro thought and his face returned to normal, "Let's go outside, Lucia."

Lucia nodded and stood up from the coffin and walked up to Dro, "Let's go, I can't wait to meet my older sister again."

Dro turned towards the gate, "Before we go, don't call me Dro when Erylis is around," he said with a serious expression on his face.

Lucia turned her head to Dro, "Why?" she said with a confused expression on her face as she couldn't understand why she couldn't call Dro by his name in front of her sister.

Dro turned his head to Lucia, "Before I was a werepire, I was a vampire and when I was a vampire, I was Erylis's fifth progenitor."

Lucia's eyes widened in shock, "What?" she mumbled. She was shocked to hear that Dro was a vampire and even more that he was her sister's progenitor.

Dro smiled lightly, "Her shocked expression is cute," he thought; then he recalled how Erylis ordered his execution and his smile disappeared from his face, "But that didn't last long. Only after a few days of being her fifth progenitor, she gave me an order which I couldn't follow and she ordered my execution. Her fourth progenitor Riku executed me and I died."

"You died? How are you alive? How did you become a werepire?" Lucia said in a shocked voice.

Dro turned his head to the giant gate in front of them, "After I died, I met King Yama and he reincarnated me as a werepire."

Lucia closed her eyes, her brain processed what Dro said multiple times before she opened her eyes again, "I see… but you died, she won't connect you to her executed progenitor. You don't have anything to worry about."

Dro shook his head, "She will, I sent her a message that I was alive," he said as he scratched his head.

Lucia slowly nodded her head.

Dro shook his head, "As long no one calls me by my name in front of her, it will be fine," he said and walked to the giant gate. Lucia relaxed her face and followed after him.

Dro took the huge round door handle and pulled it. The metal gate slowly opened and he saw Erylis, Cari and Fina all standing with closed eyes, all not saying a single word to one another, "I understand why Cari is not speaking to Erylis and why Fina isn't speaking to Erylis but why aren't Fina and Cari speaking to each other?" he thought. Three girls opened their eyes and all looked towards Dro and before a single left either one of their mouths, they all noticed Lucia by his side.

Cari nodded in satisfaction, "Good, the pack is growing… now only if the alpha would stop doing what others ask him to do…" she thought.

Fina blinked her eyes, "She is pretty," she thought.

Erylis inwardly sighed with relief, "She is not a true vampire, good," she thought.

Lucia with Dro walked out through the gate. She turned her head to Erylis, "Long time no see, big sister," she said in a calm voice and with a slight smile on her face.

Erylis smiled widely, "I missed you so much, my dear little sister." Lucia widened her smile but inwardly she coldly harumphed. Erylis turned her body to Dro and bowed deeply, "Ancestor, thank you for saving my little sister from an eternal sleep. There is nothing I could do ever do to repay this deb—," before she could finish her last word, an explosion rang out around her, her eyes closed and a sphere of blood formed around her.

Lucia's, Fina's, Cari's and Dro's eyes widened in shock and Lucia couldn't help but shout out, "That's the fourth burst!"

Lucia and Cari both turned their heads to Lucia, "What's the fourth burst?" they said at the same time, confused.

"I guess we don't have to ask anymore. She became the Queen 50 years ago," Dro thought and as his thought finished, the blood sphere around Erylis disappeared.

Erylis's eyes opened and she frowned, "You are not a true vampire." Dro and Lucia frowned.

Erylis's face darkened and every single interaction that happened between her and Dro flashed through her head. "I am going to kill you! But before that, I am going to skin your alive, drain you out of your blood and shatter every single bone in your body!"

Fina frowned, Cari frowned and she without waiting for anything opened her mouth and howled.

"Why can't I move?!" Erylis shouted out in her mind.

"The dread that is coming from her has increased more than a thousand times and she wants to kill you! We have to leave now!" Cari shouted.

Dro nodded his head and extended his hand, he started casting , "We are leaving in two seconds! Fina, Cari, Lucia to me now!" he shouted.

Fina and Cari both nodded and ran up to Dro. Lucia looked at her sister who radiated rage from her entire body. "I have never seen her this pissed of before," she smiled and opened her mouth, "Sister do you want to know something interesting?" The realm gate opened and Fina with Cari dove through, not waiting for anything.

"Lucia, let's go!" Dro shouted out.

Lucia glanced back at Dro and nodded, she moved her eyes to Erylis, "The man that you want to kill, skin alive and so on is none other than Dro, your previous fifth progenitor." Erylis head blanked out, the third second of the stun passed and only two remained. Lucia ran up to the gate and turned around, looking at the stunned Erylis. The fourth second of the stun passed and one second remained. Dro went through the gate. Lucia raised her arm and extended it, pointing it towards Erylis. A blood missile flew out from her hand and she dove through the realm gate.

The realm gate disappeared, the stun elapsed and Erylis blinked her eyes, "Dro is alive?" she mumbled.

Dro emerged in a familiar place and he saw Cari and Fina looking at him. He walked up to them, "Good job, Cari. If not for you, one of us might have died."

Fina nodded, "Yeah if not for you, big sister, one of us could have die," she said with a smile and thought, "Like before…"

Cari smiled, "Thank you, Dro, Fina."

Lucia appeared behind Dro. She walked up to them, "I have good news and bad news."

"Hello, big sister my name is Fina," Fina said.

"Hello, my name is Cari," Cari said.

Lucia turned her head to Cari and then to Fina and nodded, "My name is Lucia," she turned her head to Dro, "Which one do you want to hear first?"

"Start with the bad news, " Dro said and thought, "Better leave good news for the end."

"The bad news is that my sister is now a true vampire," Dro nodded, Cari shrugged her shoulders and Fina blinked her eyes.

"And the good news?" Dro said.

"We have 50 years until the fifth burst," Lucia said.

Cari frowned, "What is this burst?"

Fina nodded, "I want to know too."

Dro moved his eyes to Cari and then to Fina, "One vampire king or queen rules for ten thousand years. After this time has passed, they pass their accumulated power to a descendant. Cari and Fina both nodded in understanding.

"We need to get as strong as Erylis as fast as possible and kill her. Do you have any ideas where we could do that?" Lucia said.

Cari frowned and her eyes widened, "What did you say?! You want to kill her?! You can't! The dread I felt from her is slightly stronger than the one I felt from Drak!"

Lucia frowned, "Dread? What is this dread?"

Dro moved his head to Lucia, "Cari can sense how dangerous everyone is."

Lucia nodded and looked at Cari with surprise, "Really?"

Cari nodded, "Yes and we better stay away from Erylis and Drak as far as possible."

"I disagree, Erylis ordered for big brother to be killed, I want to kill her," Fina said angrily.

Dro looked at Cari, "We are going to kill her and nothing is going to stop that."

Cari nodded, "I understand, Dro."

"Huh? Why?" Dro thought; then shook his head and thought, "Now where to go, in Yukeora is Erylis – a true vampire with the level in thousands. In the Forgotten continent there are thousands of players. In Lost World there is Drak who's level is in hundreds."
