81 Killing A Boss!

Cari walked back to Dro and extended her right hand, "Here, your pelts."

Dro touched her hand which was enveloped in a golden glow; a loot window opened. "How many did you kill?" Dro asked.

"I killed eight," Cari replied.

Dro tapped on the item that had 5 stacks, "Let's go back."

Cari nodded, "Alright."

Dro with her by his side walked to the vampire that gave them the quest. The vampire bowed his head, "Your Excellency."

"I have collected your pelts," Dro said.

"Thank you, Your Excellency!" Another quest marker appeared above quest giver's head.

"Is there something more?"

"Your Excellency, I don't dare to ask more of you…"

"Just say it."

"Can I bother your Excellency, to gather 6 corrupted Vampire Bat pelts?"

"I will do it."

"Thank you, Your Excellency!"

Dro turned his eyes to Cari, "Go, I will wait here."

Cari nodded, "Alright," she said and walked away.

Dro looked at the minimap, "There is one hidden quest here, I should check it out," he thought and walked over to the hidden quest. He stopped in front of the vampire girl that gave him the quest to find her missing brother. The girl got down on her knees, "I greet the ancestor."

"Do you need anything done?"

The girl while looking at the ground said, "Yes ancestor… can you please kill progenitor Riku?"

Dro widened his eyes and asked in surprise, "You want me to kill progenitor Riku?"

She said while continuing looking at the ground, "Yes ancestor, progenitor Riku killed progenitor Dro who saved our village from werewolves and we all owe him but not any one of us is strong enough to avenge him. Please kill progenitor Riku"

Dro smiled inwardly and said, "I was already planning on it."

The girl raised her head in surprise, "What?"

"You are not to say to anyone that I told you that I would kill Riku, understand?"

"Of course, Your Excellency," she immediately lowered her head once more. Dro walked back to the bat pelt quest giver and after waiting for another few minutes Cari walked back.

"I have returned," she extended her hand, "Here are the pelts."

Dro nodded, "Good job," he touched her hand. Looting the pelts, he turned his head to the quest giver, "Here are your pelts."

"Thank you, Your Excellency."

Another quest marker appeared above the quest giver's head but this one was red and Dro smiled, "Do you need anything else?"

"Yes, Your Excellency."

"Please go into the cave east of here and get me the pelt of corrupted vampire bat king."

"I will do it," Dro said.

"Let's go, Cari." She nodded and Dro led her to the cave. They walked inside; a notification flashed.

After seeing the notification, Dro saw a floating bat in front of him. It was like the corrupted vampire bats, it's fur was light brown and its fangs were sticking out of its mouth. But even though it looked like a normal corrupted vampire bat, it was slightly larger in size.

"Let's get this over with," Dro said and walked into the 15-yard range, a spear made out of blood appeared in his hand and he threw it. A huge damage flashed above the monster's head and it fell down to the ground, dead.

"Help me clear these out Cari."

She nodded her head, "Alright."

The two quickly walked through the cave killing all elites with only a single attack each and when they killed 8 each and got 1600 experience they stopped as they entered the last room. In the middle floated a bat that was twice the size of the bats they killed.

"I can kill it in a single attack," Dro thought; then turned his head to Cari, "Go, kill it."

Cari nodded, "Alright," she moved her eyes to the floating bat and a spear made out of blood appeared in her hand and she threw it. It flew through the air and hit the bat; the bat shrieked in pain and fell down to the ground dead.

"That's it," Dro thought and Cari turned her head to him but then without saying anything looked at the corpse of the fallen bat. Dro walked up to the corpse and touched it; a loot window opened.

Dro tapped on each item and notifications flashed.

"I need a skill level of 20 to be able to examine items of blue quality but where do I find some green items," Dro thought and shook his head. "Let's go, Cari."

"Alright," she said and they returned back to the village.

They walked up to the vampire that gave them the quest, the vampire bowed and Dro said, "I have done what you asked of me."

"Thank you, Your Excellency."

Another question mark appeared above the quest giver's head but this time it was yellow and Dro said, "Anything else?"

"Yes, please accept this gift from me."

"I will accept it," Dro said and notification flashed.

"Have safe travels, ancestor." Dro nodded to the vampire and he with Cari walked away from him, as they walked away Dro thought, "I don't need it as mine is better but I can give it to Cari." He stopped getting some distance away from the quest giver then opened Cari's character window and equipped the cloak onto her.
