*Marcus's POV*

I and my men were still in the company interrogating Diana, received a call from his boss letting me know that his wife was in critical conditions. We rushed to the hospital, dragging Diana along to see him sitting on the couch waiting silently. I never saw this side of him. He looked so nervous and I could tell from the way his hands are shaking. I decided to sit beside him and wait. No one mentioned a word so I stayed silent. I don't want to say something that would upset him. I signal one of my men to sat Diana down at the end of a corner chair.

Boss adored and love Lydia very much but just because of that b*tch plan and jealously, all their dreams shattered. Only me and Jake were the only one left who treats Lydia nicely without my boss knowledge. Boss despised her when he found out that her fiancee was the culprit. He became very distant and cold to her. It was because Diana made all those lies to ensure that no wedding will take place between them and in return, she will become his bride. She also had the habit of tripping on Lydia and accused her of things she didn't do. And seeing the hurt in her eyes had given Diana so much happiness. This give Diana satisfaction as she considered her plan had worked out fine. She was more sophisticated, elegant than her and came from a wealthy family. Hence she, only she was fit and perfect to be the daughter-in-law of the Parker.

Boss have instructed to find out the truth and the culprit behind it. Although, I had suspected, I had no solid evidences to disclose Diana ill-plan until recently when I overheard her private conversation with a staff whose friend was also working in boss mansion. They plan out to get rid of Lydia. And now the time has come, I will avenge for Lydia. She was the most kind-hearted lady. From time to time, she will take time to check-out our well-being, me and Jake. Maybe because of our aged differential, I'm six years older than her that she treated me like her brother. There's no harm in having one since I don't have a younger sister, of course without boss knowing our little secret. Sometimes, she would talked to me about life, her family, etc. She never surpressed us using the high and low status. How could they do this to her? She was the nicest and kindness person, I have encountered before.

A nurse from the delivery room came out and told my boss to go inside. My boss refused politely. We were silently waiting but was startled when a scowling Dr. Woods stormed out and snapped him. I couldn't believe what I am hearing. She just told us that Lydia had little time left and might not make it. The doctor was suppressing her tears. I know for a fact that she cared for Lydia like a little sister too.

I went over to my boss who was definitely shocked by the news and handed him the green hospital gown, encouraged him to go inside. Once boss was inside, I turned and walked over to Diana, sighed. "I hope that somehow you'll realize what you did to her was all wrong. She's a sweet nice person. Because of your greed and jealously, you kill a person with your own hand. I will see to it, you and the others will get your law punishment soon. Even if boss forbid it, even how rich your family are, you will never get away from this. You will get punished for what you have done. And from now onwards, I will never let you hurt her again. I swear to God I'll protect this little sister if He would just let her live." Diana stayed silent and tears began to fell down her cheeks. "For God's sake.. You better start praying, nothing happen to her." I shouted again and walked back to my seat.

We heard noises inside the room, after that, we saw our boss being chased out of the delivery room. The staff had to use force to get him out. His face that was full of regret and longing. What could have happened? Is it about Madam? Is it the twins? Are they all okay? I tried to ask boss but he was just staring at the door.

A couple of minutes after, a nurse came and I asked her if everything is okay. She said that the twins are fine but the mother is unstable. She whispered that her heart stopped and that the doctors are trying their best to save her. I looked at my boss with my eyes wide in disbelief. How could this happened? She was my little sister two months ago. I still have not done anything for her yet. I never even say 'thank you'. Now she's gone.

I figured that boss heard what the nurse had said inside the delivery room. He broke down crying and I'm trying my best to console him. He was not like him, he somewhat zoned out. I was mad and my fierce eyes zoomed onto Diana.

*Diana's POV*

I didn't know how to respond to him? Marcus knew it all along. He caught me red handed when he heard my private conversation with Joshua in the office. Joshua, my subordinate promised to help and in return if I ever became 'Mrs Parker', I will promote him to a manager. Marcus knew that Lydia was innocent all this times but he doesn't have the prove to show Andy. He would hate me if he finds out the truth. I knows that I'm in trouble now but I really love him. I was the one he dated before, although we break off, I never stopped loving him. If not for this b*tch, Andy would still be mine.

All that I had done and sacrificed for his company over the past years was because I loved him. Was I wrong to own him fully for myself. I may acted like a b*tch to her but I'm not a killer. I just wanted her out of Andy's life. It was never my intention for Lydia to die. I didn't really expect that.

I watched at Andy coming out of the delivery room without his own will. He looked sad and was hysterical crying his eyes out. He's nothing but a total mess now. Marcus went to console Andy with his eyes fiercely glaring at me.. 'And it is because of you!' I know Marcus is very mad at me.

I never thought that guilt will consume me. If she dies, Andy would hate me to death. Tears started to well in my eyes again. It was never my intention to hurt him like this. "I am sorry Andy. Please forgive me." I whispered to myself.
