11 Chapter 11

Its was her birthday today but she will assume that no one ever knew, not even him as he never celebrated her birthday with her before for the past years. As she opened her eyes, she turned around and found Andy's missing from bed so as usual she thought she will alone again on her birthday. She was about to get out of bed when she saw a parcel on the desk at the corner of the room. She went over to pick it up.

It has been ten mins and still she have not opened the box. She want to open it but she had been controlling herself. Then after five more mins, she couldn't bear it and opened the box. Her eyes widened and her jaw was gonna fall. It was a simple yet elegant black gown with silver belt. There was a note inside. As she read it, she was shocked.

"Happy birthday Lydia. This is your 1st, 4th birthday gift from me. I am sorry, I didn't get to celebrate with you before and I wanted to make up for the lost birthdays. There are still lots more surprises waiting for you, so be ready by 5:00pm. Yours, Andy." Tears welled up her eyes.

As she opened the bedroom door, there was no one around, suddenly her eyes lend on the bouquet of red roses on the floor, she picked it up and went downstairs. There was a note in it as she opened it and it read. "Baby, don't you forgot the surprise at 5.00pm."

Came 5.00pm, she's waiting for. Andy lead her outside and upon reaching the garden, her eyes were wide open and covered her mouth with her hands. The scene was breathtaking. The garden was decorated beautifully, there were lights and balloons hanging here and there, balloons were also spread on the ground. There were tables placed at the corner with various food items. She was so surprised and shocked because no one has ever celebrated her birthday like this before. As she was still staring and in gazed, Andy whispered into her ear. "Happy Birthday my love." She quickly turned and hugged him tightly with tears in her eyes.

He was taken aback from her action but recovered soon. After some time, Andy pinched her cheeks and kissed her on the forehead, this action of his made her heart beat fast. Then he turned her around and she was again shocked to see most of her all college friends around.

Everyone hugged and wished her, but she was not truly happy because she was missing her bestie, Annie very much. Although, she was missing Annie, she really wanted to seriously thank Andy for making her birthday special.

As she was chatting to her colllege friends, Andy announced that its time to cut the cake. They all went near the table and she was amazed by the sized and decoration of the cake. They all sang her the Birthday song and then, she cut the cake and fed everyone. As she fed him the cake, all of a sudden Andy felt a sensation going through his body. They all enjoyed themselves very much.

Towards the ending, before everyone starts leaving, they give her their birthday gifts and she handed it to Jake, who Andy have given instructions. Once, after everyone gone, she wanted to find Andy and thank him. As she was looking for him, a maid came and gave her a note. She read the note and it was written. "Meet me after everyone left. I want to give you a special surprise. Yours, Andy."

She was searching for awhile, at last she found him standing near the poolside. She went near to him with her heart beating rapidly and was feeling nervous.

She cleared her throat to gain his attention and he turned towards her with a smiled. He hold her hands and took her somewhere.

As they reached their destination, her eyes again widened again as the scene was more breathtaking. He bought her near a lake which was shining under the moon light. The air was blowing and it was awesome whether, she can stay here for a day or two, she thought silently. She turned towards him and he took out a small box and gave it to me.

What's this Andy? She asked him. He told her to accept this gift as its from his sister, your best friend Annie. He told Lydia that Annie had organise this surprises for her birthday few years back but she was unable to fullfilled it. Tears fell down her eyes and had never expected Annie to do so much, the dress, party, bouquet of her favorite flowers.....

There's sadness in his eyes too and she hugged him tight, feeling sorry for him because due to her useless father..... She opened it and it was a beautiful watch, the same one that she wanted to buy before. She was wondering how he came to know about it as she never mention this to him.

Your best friend Annie, told me long time ago. He answered her unasked question and her eyes redddened again. It means all this times, Andy knew about this. Then Andy gave her a cheeky smile and nodded. That girl really... if she's here today, she will be very pleased with my arrangements but she... "Hell! I really missed her." Andy said.

"I missed her very much too, Andy and thank you soooooo much for these wonderful surprises." She said, hugged and kissed him on the cheek. He hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

The next morning, when Lydia woke up, Andy had left the house at 8:30am as there was an important meeting in the office. She took out her phone from her bag and text him.... "Once again, thank you so much for the wonderful surprises and making my birthday memorable." After texting, she lied on her bed, her mind continuously thinking about Andy.
