"Did you save my life in the forest? Thank you!"

"No, not this time! But I did save your life when you were a baby."

Rais darted his eyes hearing such an unexpected answer and sat down to listen carefully and ask Nish a few questions that surfaced on his mind.

"What happened back then?"

"I can't tell you much, but your mother will tell you once you are ready. Trust me on this! Your mom Rais is not a forgiving person like you think."

Rais wanted to nod, to express his agreement, but he was unable to.

"How did you save me from here?, I thought you couldn't use your power to influence outside this soul place."

"Why do you think I look transparent? It's because I had to destroy half of my already destroyed soul to stop an attack from a golden arrow. I wish you could see, the look on their faces when they saw a baby of less than a year, produce such a formidable force. Even I was amazed that with no energy I cleanly deflected such a swift attack. You should also thank the consciousness sleeping within the gray ring as he taught me the skill."

Rais had questions about the gray ring the very first time he saw it, as it had given him an overwhelming fleeing. Hence, His interest deepened as Nish brought it up once again, so he shifted some of his attention towards it as he continuously listened to Nish.

"I had prepared to defend you once again, even though I knew this part of my soul would vanish, and yet worse, my memories fading away. I had no other choice, as if I didn't save you, I would vanish as well. Then again, even if I did have a choice, I wouldn't leave you to die."

"What if I hadn't agreed to help you? Wouldn't you have sacrificed yourself for a sham?"

"No, you definitely wouldn't have abandoned me, even if I didn't help you. Your mind Rais, it is too adventurous, your curiosity wouldn't allow you to forsake such an otherworldly prospect."

"How do you know it was not a facade? Every so often, I do desire many things, but I wouldn't give up the things I already have."

"If that is how you feel, then I am very grateful, but If you didn't save me, how did I survive?" Rais changed the subject without going back and forth.

So, I had doubts if you were human, but surprisingly you are, more human than most people around you. The weird thing is, I still doubt what I saw with my own eyes."

"Can't a human unlock it? Since humans can cultivate the soul like all the other mortals."

"Anyone with enough skill can unlock it, but Rais you don't even know what a spiritual seal even is. Moreover, a human can't unlock it without the help of a powerful external catalyst."

"Fair enough, but why not try to recall the successive events, maybe there is a catalyst that you have missed."

"Your father Rais is a capable man, he must have left something sealed within you, and I think he knew the reason you unlocked the spiritual seal."
