19 Initial Awakening 3
"I am very grateful that you welcomed me here, but who are you, and where am I at?"
"Rais, you look very relaxed, quite unbothered by the strangeness of this place."
"Strange is right, this place, It feels so familiar to me. It feels like as if I have known this place for a long, long time."
Rais couldn't see the source of the voice. He tried hard to look backward, but his struggles were fruitless. He gave up trying, and once again silently staring upward. The source of the voice remained silent until Rais gave up trying to break free.
"Struggling won't help. You should have opened your eyes a lot sooner. Many days have passed since you started falling from the ceiling of the tower."
Rais couldn't believe the scale of the tower as he was very much unaware of how much time has passed. To him, it felt like a little time had passed.
"Eyes at the top of my head would be very useful, but I rather wouldn't have them as you can walk to the front of me."
"I am very much restricted like you are, but you know me very well as you had looked into my memories plenty of times."
"Ha! Your memories?"
"The visions you experienced in your dreams are part of my memory. I am sorry you had to undergo such horrifying experiences."
Rais didn't know how to react to this as this thought had bothered him for the longest time. He had too many questions surfaced in his mind. He cleared his thoughts and decided he would ask questions instead of panicking. For now, Rais decided this person was telling the truth and proceed to go with the flow.
"At least your memories don't set me on fire, and besides you also have many treasured memories. Memories that are tied closely to your heart and soul."
"Are they? I can only recall minor parts of my memory, so I thank you. I look forward to the day I will have all my memories back."
"Why do you not remember, and how am I able to look into your memories?"
"I am not quite sure myself but do you see that gray ring between the two gigantic vortexes. According to him, a part of myself was forcefully ripped apart from my supreme soul."
"That makes no sense. Tell me more about this bizarre place! Crafted from one's imagination!"
"Hey, not a bad way to put it. Why not try to make a guess?"
"For me, a place of adventure and discovery, but for you a big fancy prison."
"That sounds quite right, but now try looking at the surrounding runes."
Rais tried to arch his eyes, but the awkward angle made it difficult to see the runes on the reflective surface.
"You already touched the ceiling of the tower, so you should easily be able to look around you. Try to imagine it within your mind as you did before. This place is within your soul place, so everything is under your control."
"I don't have a soul place. I still haven't started cultivating spiritual energy."
Rais became bewildered the next moment as he looked down at the jade green translucent floor. His body still lay down on the floor, but he looked unconscious with his eyes fastened. His body surrounded by a large diagram on the floor and He saw these same intricate seal markings on his back.
"Don't close your eyes or will be back down on the floor again."
"These are the names I saw at the top."
"There is no rune similar to this at the tower ceiling."
"Not the ceill…"
Rais body froze when he glanced at a young boy a few steps away of him. His body looked somewhat translucent as a green aura escaped his body. A golden glass like chains stuck in his heart, limiting his reach around the tower, but none of this fazed him.
Rais stared at his messy raven black hair. The boys returned a bright smile that pushed up his cheeks. He had a tiny mole on the center his left cheek. He bore a squarish face and two intrusive ember eyes on two sides of his medium-sized nose. The soft uniform light reflected on his olive like light brown skin. Rais felt like he was standing before his reflection as the boy looked exactly like him.
"Why do you look like me?!"
"At first I didn't look like anything, but over the years I absorbed much of your spiritual energy. That resulted in me looking more and more like you. I don't have to look like you, but I am heavily restricted, so I can't reveal my true form to you. If it bothers you, I will change my look to someone else I see in the future."
"Please do because I don't want to look like I am talking to myself, looking like a crazy person."
He only responded with a smile, but that made Rais want to punch his face over and over again.
"You should be able to read a name at the center of the diagram. It's your soul place so you should be able to find your name there.
"I can read much more than just one rune. I can read all these runes, but when I look away, I can only remember two names."
"That's impossible! There should be only one name. Damn it! Damn my memory! There must be an explanation, but why can't I remember?"
"Maybe your name is also written here too! Is it Usron Fios Nazarc?"
The boy laughed for a while. "That is not my name but yours. Your father had given you that name. You can ask your mother once you recover from the absolute curse."
"Then, why does my mom call me Rais?"
Rais thought this person who looked like him was telling lies to him, but that was the assumption he made from the very beginning. He wondered why Rais was also part of the second name as he started to think he didn't know anything about himself. There was a lingering doubt within his mind that everything this boy revealed was the truth. If only, there was a way to perceive this person thoughts.
"You have no idea about the situation you are in Little boy. Ask your mother why she doesn't use your real name once you wake up from this coma. I know very little of what goes on in the outside world. Every time I try to look out into the world, I damage part of my soul."
Rais realized he could somehow read the boys' thoughts. So he could do more with his mind than he realized. The boy was indeed telling him truth all along. It was baffling for Rais as to comprehend, that something so unbelievable resided within his soul."
"Since you are within my soul, why not start this by telling me your name?"
"I told you earlier that I can't reveal how I look like nor can I tell you my name because a divine force is restricting me. If I tried to tell you anything, I would damage my soul."
Rais became confused by what this restriction the boy keep bringing up. The concept didn't make sense to him.
"What is restricting you so much."
"This world is restricting me because my existence is going against its divine law. I had died in a battle so I should be dead right now, but somehow here I am. Since we will work together, I will tell you some basic things about myself. I will need your help afterward, otherwise, I will disappear forever."
"Go on" Rais didn't perceive what to expect next, but it changed his eyes disposition.
"I am called Indhar Nish Elasor, and I was the first of my people to have the potential to reach the level of a Title inheritor..."
Before Nish could finish, a cluster of chains shot from a gate from the bottom corner of the tower's wall. The chains pierced through his soul, and a powerful force pulled him towards the gigantic gate.
"AAAAH"
His soul became more transparent as he screeched in extreme agony. He resisted annihilation as the crystallized runic chains bounded him to the gate. Rais rushed to a rectangular arch cut deep into the tower wall.
When Rais stepped inside the arch, he felt twisted energy pulling his soul in the black golden gate. The gate inscribed with black runes and many bright red veins like energy channels. The energy channel connected every rune with two palm print on two sides of the gate.
He saw a gigantic ring like the white rings he saw above the platform of the tower but golden in color. The condensed energy around the ring made a tiny opening on the gate. A shadowy silver aura leaked out the gate to surround Nish soul.
The corrosive energy ate his arms, but the aura released from the golden ring stated to heal them right away. He lifted his head to stare at Rais' approaching form.
"My spiritual energy reached a level comparable to the gods. People granted me the title of specter premier as I reached the threshold of the divinity stage."
"This part of the universe restricts divine power, and knowledge thus I am restricted as well. My existence is taboo by the set divine laws, and so are the gods of this world. I need your help to get back within this vault before the divine tabulation annihilates me."
Nish raised his hand to manifest thirteen different models of structures.
"Rais look at them carefully because they will assist you to get into the more expansive world." Rais eye shrunk looking at the structures because he recognized three of the structures, and It reminded him of old legends. The illustration ware of the core parts of the legendary god's throne created by God Zarieun. According to these legends, God Zarieun created this world and named it after his beloved partner Illipra.
At one time every major world had a Magic Throne, but after the gods' mysterious disappearance, over time their throne also started to vanish. In the end, the throne of Illipra became the last remnant of the throne until its imminent eminent destruction.
The Magic Thrones disappearance, its destruction was never recorded, to a point, where people of illipra had forgotten how it looked. The knowledge stayed buried in time until a man shrouded in mystery created a super sect named Throne Restorers. According to records, to this day, the founder of Throne Restorer remains the only person who reached the very center of the Szronix Little Garden. At the current time, yet had he vanished like all those heroes who had at one time tried to protect The Throne.
Even though Rais was convinced to help him, he acted unconvinced to obtain more answer from Nish. "Why should I help you? How do I know you are not deceiving me, and why would I want so much power?"
"Rais, You have no idea what your enemies are and why you a little boy have so many of them. Even to me, it's baffling that a young boy has enemies that have a greater reach than my enemies ever had.
First, I doubted if you were even human as your powers make no sense. Even when I reached the level of divinity, I had come across a few spirits kings that had unlocked an innate spiritual seal.
And yet, A few nights earlier you casually unlocked it within the forest. Why do you think you hide within the barren land full of jungle and why so many forces are against you. How you, who haven't cultivated spiritual energy a day in your life has such vast soul place. Why do you burn within a merciless absolute curse attack?"
Nish soul became increasingly transparent and consumed within a tenacious divine force. He gazed at Rais to see him remain calm and as if he had expected the unexpected answer. His lips arched to produce a dry smile towards Nish.
"Thank you."
Rais extended his hand to shake Nishs' hand, and in the process, he provided his spiritual energy. Rais soul place became darker when he gave Nish condensed energy from the soul place.
Raiss' mind carried many questions, but now he will get to grasp them one by one. The peaceful atmosphere relaxed his lost and overwhelmed mind. He didn't know who he was, but now at least he gained a means to unravel them.
The runes inscribed on the wall of the tower started producing soft light within the dark. Rais teleported back to the center of the tower to look up at the two vortexes. The inscribed runes on the wall glowed with a soft greenish light. It looked as if he was within the eye of a magical storm.
"Rais, you look very relaxed, quite unbothered by the strangeness of this place."
"Strange is right, this place, It feels so familiar to me. It feels like as if I have known this place for a long, long time."
