17 Initial awakening 1
The two beams contained an extreme amount of spiritual energy. The crystallized dome prevented spiritual energy from spreading deep into the outer world. It ripped the cursed fire away from Rais's body. The spiritual power struck the fire from every direction when it started spreading. The creatures and the towering trees around Rais burned to ash as the black fire escaped his body.
The rainwater instantly vaporized and the clouds ripped apart from dominating force. The ground burned to molten lava. Shock waves disrupted and weakened the storm. Then It ripped through the eye of the storm, making the sky clear. The moons in the sky looked like jealous, hateful, hungry eyes staring beneath. Beneath at a more transcendent light.
Many gigantic spirits left within the mortal realm wanted to pierce through the dome. An enormous blind titan whale spirit flew out of the deep ocean. It surrounded with electric lights and murky water as its instinct brought it toward Rais. It attacked the barrier with strong spiritual energy and sound waves. A black shadowy spirit with multiple arms laid on the barrier looking down with its one obsidian elliptical eye. It opened and latched its thousand tooted mouth in excitement. A two-headed gray devil bat flew in circles observing the situation. Its spiritual body filled with purple vein like filaments, excited to swallow anything under the barrier.
A hunger for power seen within their eyes as they tried to rip apart the dome. Thousands of excited lesser spirits gathered with them outside the barrier. The strong spiritual power source had bewitched them. They were unsuccessful at their attempt to enter the crystallized mana barrier. They tried to get a glimpse of Rais to hunt him later on but the inky yin curtain prevented them from doing so.
Anila still baffled by the disappearance of Divine Lightning Deer and the burning skeleton. She detected no signs of them. Her mind burned with hatred. She realized the forest deity must have done something to them. When she recovered from her thought, Anila became bewildered by the certain turn of event as the spiritual power condensed on Rais body.
The chaos made the members of the throne restore panic. They departed from the shore the exact moment the ground started shaking. The Throne Restorer always had enmity with the forest deity. They had tried to explore deep within the forest without his permission. They looked towards the sky to see a gigantic whale.
"What is happening within the forest?"
"It must be the Forest Deity again. Hurry, he might come after us."
"Why does forest deity still exists when all other gods vanished so many thousands of years ago!"
The people around and within the forest became alarmed by the sudden appearance of the crystallized dome. Powerful individuals woke from their long slumber, and some abandoned their long meditation. They all directed their attention to the forest. They were anxious that the forest might start swallowing lands again.
Within the forest, Rais laid down unconscious. A dense green aura made his body glow as the light pushed the curse mark on his right shoulder into submission.
The Forest Deity opened his eyes once more to witness the spectacle. The divine tree joined him and transformed the burned ground around Rias turn into lush greenery once again.
"He actually got it under control. Unbelievable! Is he human?"
"It seems, he has something unimaginable within his body."
"Are you not going to check?"
"I would be no different from the people who placed the curse him. Besides, I have a mission entrusted to finish. I don't require more problems than I already have."
"What! A problem for you?"
"Whoever is after him is very problematic... Remember his face because you owe him."
"I am ashamed."
"When everyone had disappeared that day, Szronix came to me. He sealed a tiny part of me with you to complete this important mission. How long has it been?"
"Are you tired?"
"I can't wait to finish this mission and escape this tiny prison but no one who is worthy has made it to this place."
Anila ran back to Rais to witness the fire already extinguished by the greenish spiritual aura. Her first thought was that the Forest Deity must have aided him. An enormous weight lifted off her chest as her complexion recovered a little. She looked at her hand at the three seals and became emotional. This thing wouldn't be able to restrain his curse any longer, but she wanted them to.
Rais still looked miserable in an unconscious state. She detected him breathing within the spiritual energy. His body would take a long time to recover from the charcoal-like state. Anila looked into his crimson ruby-like eyes without a slight surprise.
She took out a powerful rune seal crafted by The Grandmaster she had kept for an emergency. She had never expected to use it so soon. Anila saw an intricate diagram on Rais back, but she didn't recognize any of it. She watched when it vanished with the greenish aura. She placed the rune seal on his back as red rune symbols spread onto his back. She watched his ruby-like eyes lose their luster and turned back to their original color. She teleported him into the house and placing him on the bed.
The Crystallized Dome cracked in the next moment and rained down into the forest. People let out a big breath of air in relief. The sprites rushed towards the place Rais had laid, but they saw no signs of him. They started to fight among themselves. Some started to turn back, and others kept looking for the energy source.
"Welcome, since all of you have come, why return so fast? I didn't say any of you could leave."
The spirits became terrified.
"I thought the spirits had forgotten about me, so I thank you for visiting me." An ancient voice rung through the mind of every spirit.
The Deer walked out again from within the darkness of the forest. The lightning horn branched into the sky piercing through every spirit in an instant. The spirits became paralyzed from violent lightning discharging onto them. They looked like fruits on a massive tree, hanging in the night sky.
"Don't let any of them escape."
The green fire skeleton stepped down to the ground from the deer and opened its mouth. The bones on its upper body opened up like the petals of a flower. It became eccentric and started laughing maniacally. The green tree veins came out its upper body and swallowed everything in the air at once.
"There are very few spirits left in the mortal realm. Is better if you let them go this time."
"Alright trap the small ones within the forest and devour the big ones but do let the one with the most power escape."
The Forest Deity went back to hibernate. The skeleton let the minor spirits and the blind whale out. The whale rushed out of the forest in fright as it flew towards the sea. It produced strong sounds in excitement but when it arrived at the top of Rais house It could no longer move.
A fast light ran through its body, and a large condensed spiritual stone dropped down onto the roof. It fell onto a tiny portal and dropped onto Anilas hand.
