4 Miracle

*While running

Even though he didn't wanted to use it he had to cause it was emergency.

"Snivy, come out buddy" said Luix as he called snivy out of his pokeball.

"Snivy, the matter is looking very serious right now and I need your help. Let's battle it out of this mess" Yes you have got it by now, he had only one option and that is to battle. He couldn't hide from them so he had to battle them. Inwardly luix thought that he must get a pokemon with very high speed after this battle!!!

Snivy too nodded as he got ready.

"I know it's gonna be painful but endure it okay!" said luix with a face full of worry.

"Let's use leer first and end it with twister and the few that survive, let's think about it afterwards." Twister was the egg move that snivy had started with (iron tail was taught afterwards using HM/TMs) but it usually exhausted snivy's all energy which luix didn't want happening in this battle. Even if it was one in a ten chances he wanted a miracle where snivy won't faint due to exhaustion . You might be wondering did he train his snivy at all in his twister but he actually did it. At

"But before using those moves let's lure them into an area where twister will affect the most and when I give the signal use it, okay." Immediately after he said that he ran towards the opposite direction where there were some open field leaving snivy behind.

The flock was only some centimeters away from luix. The flock felt like a huge wave of water coming to crash down upon him. They didn't even look back where snivy was currently seated.

When the flock almost reached him he shouted,"NOW SNIVY USE IT!!!!!"

The flock who didn't had a single clue what was going on suddenly felt something amiss. They immediately faced where the snivy was seated and thought it was just a pokemon but when they looked upwards they saw a huge twister crashing down upon them.

Luix immediately called out to snivy to check if he is fine and to his joy he saw snivy standing strong but a little fatigued. Snivy probably can use twister only once more but that twister might not be much strong than this and all of his other attacks too might be weakened too. He currently faced this predicament and his only choice was to pray that all those birds will get sucked in.

It might be regarded as a miracle that all the pokemon got sucked in but after the twister ended there was a particular pidove who appeared to stand strong despite all other fainting down. Even the tranquill couldn't handle it and had fainted but this pidove was standing. Even if we call it standing it appeared weak and started wobbling and finally fainting down.

This particular pidove leaved a strong impression on Luix as he decided to catch it. After the ball hit the pidove , the ball seemed to struggle a bit and finally giving a flash signifying that it had been caught.

"Well, ...*sigh* the battle is finally over. Snivy let's leave fast before they find one of their member is missing" Luix immediately recalled snivy and started running like a mad person throughout the forest. (Of course avoiding the attention of other pokemon).

Only after he felt that they won't find him, he called out pidove and snivy.

Snivy seems less fatigued than before while the pidove seemed to be currently angry.

It seems to be saying *you cheat. You caught me when I was the most vulnerable this is unfair.

Luix felt that the pidove might be angry after what he had done so as a sign of apology he gave him some berries which somehow seemed to like it and seems to be asking for more.

"Sorry another time" said luix as he scanned the pokemon.

The cold voice resounded,

'Pidove, the tiny pigeon pokemon,These Pokémon live in cities and are accustomed to people. Flocks often gather in parks and plazas. This pidove has the super luck ability and has learned:

Gust, Growl, Leer, Quick attack, Roost ,Double Team, Rest and Air cutter.'

Hoho, isn't that quite a large amount of moves and it seems that he is a pokemon with bold attitude. Hmm this explains why he could withstand the pressure of the twister. Well leaving that aside and coming onto the topic. I think I might need to teach these two some move. I had been thinking about it for a long time but this incident helped me to realise that only the strong can survive.

"But well what should I teach you first. From your previous battle we can see that you severely lack in the energy department. I wanna teach you a move that can help you regain your lost energy or that helps you raise your defense. Let's check the pokedex and know the moves that you can learn"

.....After finishing filtering the moves...

Currently I have three moves in mind for snivy. First is reflect as stated in name it reduces damage by 50% which is a great deal of amount. Second is rest which heals the amount of damage taken and the third is attract which again stated in the name , attracts pokemon of opposite gender.

After a lot of contemplation I decided to go with rest. I wanted snivy to learn attract but there's noone to teach him so I decided to go with rest.

He evilly grinned towards Pidove

"Pidove, I'm counting on you. Please teach snivy rest" said Luix with a drop of tear in his face.

The pidove angrilly refused.

"I beg you Pidove"

The Pidove again refused by turning his head

"Oh boy! and here I thought I would give you some berries as a thanks but it seems that it might go to waste"

The Pidove suddenly turned his head when he heard the word berry. Somehow after mentioning the word berry the Pidove actually accepted to teach snivy rest.

Well all is well that ends well is what can be described of this situation. Our protagonist caught his first wild pokemon and will be catching more. To know about his future journey tune in till then.
