201 Heaven's Persuasion

Mi Rong's cold eyes swept at the people around her. Though Mi Rong was filled with anger, she was not going to kill innocent people. It was hard enough to live all these years, it would be a waste to be killed.

Once again, her body dashed towards the ten individuals in black in front of her, colliding with the first few people, knocking some of them out instantly.

From behind, Fu Li was adjusting his breathing before joining in. His brother was right beside him waiting for the right moment to strike together for they were both stronger when they did so. However, all Fu Li could think about was how long would they last. Usually, when they practised with their boss, it would take them almost 30 minutes before their boss would crush them.

Hopefully, 30 minutes would be how long they would last.

Fu Li then turned to his brother and nodded. Immediately, Kun Li understood his brother's message without having to say anything. Both brothers were known as the Long twins, two dragons that fought dangerously together. However, how long would they last with heaven's pick?

The fight went on and on. However, no weapons were used and it was the fight of the fists and legs. Some men and women were lying on the floor unconscious due to Mi Rong's fierce martial arts.

Even the two infamous Long twins were having a hard time handling with her. She was using such peculiar martial arts, one they had never seen before.

20 minutes in and only the two brothers were left. The rest had all fallen underneath their feet. Fu Li was starting to feel bad in his heart, the ceremony must have just only started and it looked like they could no longer hold her back much further.

Just as Fu Li was slightly distracted, Mi Rong's hands had pushed the two brothers on their chest which had sent them flying down the stairs. Both of them vomited blood instantly and could no longer get up. Mi Rong looked around her and could not help but sigh as she looked at all the injured. She quickly took out a bottle of healing pill out and opened it. There was enough for all of them.

She leapt down the staircase in one leap and handed the bottle of pills in front of Fu Li. "Rest and take this." Mi Rong placed the bottle a little further away from Fu Li so that he would have to take some time before he could reach it.

Once that was done, she leapt back to the top of the staircase swiftly.

"Miss Mi Rong…" Fu Li gritted his teeth as he spoke Mi Rong's name.

With that, Mi Rong halted to hear what this young lad had to say.

"It is all a mistake." And he completely blacked out.

Mistake? Well, we should see about that.

...

Within the city, in a tall building

A figure covered in a purple attire was standing beside his window. His eyes were gazing at the moon that was shining brightly. Sigh, he had always had an uneasy feeling looking at the moon when it was at its fullest. He would always be reminded of that day when everything went wrong.

As he was thinking of the past, a familiar sound of footsteps had walked inside his hall. With his hands still behind his back, he turned around to see the newcomer.

"Ah, isn't it my Sparrow? You have finally come back to me." The clad in purple's voice was full of joy, but the joy did not reach his eyes. Sparrow had been found by Wan Hei just today at the old Xuan headquarters, but he was told that Sparrow had hid himself away from everyone seeming like he did not want to return back to where he belonged.

"Yes, sir."

"Now, what is it that you would like to present to me, hm? I have heard many things about you, but I would like to hear it from your own mouth." The clad in purple's voice grew harsher.

"Master, I saw miss Mi Rong today." Sparrow began.

With that, the clad in purple's eyes grew with interest.

Seeing that his boss did not stop him, Sparrow continued, "She was walking on the streets like she was lost as if her heart had broken into pieces. The corners of her eyes were terribly red and something behind her ear was also glowing red. Moreover, she seemed to be holding an invitation of some sort in her hands."

Mi Rong…

The clad in purple quickly grew in alarm. He knew what was happening to her, for he knew, something just what had happened to her had happened to someone else as well. Added up to the full moon and Mi Rong's mark being activated, it could only mean that the trial was coming upon them.

Now, both Mi Rong and he would have to face it together. How did she get a hold of this information and even the letter? If it was Xue Li who did so, he would definitely punish her for this. He had wanted Mi Rong to not be aware of this engagement at any cost until it was all done.

Then that invitation...the engagement.

The clad in purple's expression became grave. No! She must not get there. The engagement should be done for he had already planned a spell for Jun Kai to be forever be tied to Xue Li once the rituals were done. Now, he would have to speak Mi Rong out of this heaven's persuasion that would come to her soon, so she would finish her task. No, no, this must not happen.

The only way to stop her from succeeding this task was for him to persuade her out of this and he must succeed.

"Wan Hei!" He called out in the darkness.

Soon a flutter of wings was heard from the darkness and Wan Hei's black glossy body came to light, "Yes, master."

"Check the city's CCTV and find where Mi Rong had been today and give it to me!"

Wan Hei immediately took actions and flew out to retrieve the information.

It was not long before Wan Hei had come back and provided Mi Rong's location throughout the entire day. It had started from Xia Yun's cafe to being taken in a truck and arriving at a tall familiar building.

"Feng Li Jian!" The clad in purple gritted the three words out of his mouth. He looked at the picture and could finally grab the reason behind this. Mi Rong was not that easy to take down and with just those mere humans would not be able to capture her. She herself must have let it happen.

Behind one corner of the hall, a small figure was just about to walk in when she heard a name that she hated with all her heart. Li Jian? The lady was a middle-aged lady that was flawless in her red dress. She quickly hid behind one of the pillars to listen to the conversation inside the hall.

The clad in purple continued,  "Since he had taken Mi Rong and Mi Rong had so easily let it happen, it means he must know where his wife is! Go follow where Li Jian will go and kill them for me. They've been a nuisance for me for a while. The two, husband and wife, can die together." He spoke coldly.

However, the lady behind the pillar showed an ugly face. No! Those two should not get the privilege to even see each other! To die together in each other's arms was not the kind of death she had hope for them. It should be antagonizing just like what they had done to her!

The lady was none other than Ms Huan Jia.

"Yes, master." Then, Wan Hei spread his large wings and flew out of the giant window.

Like a sparkle in the stars, a flash of thoughts went through her mind and Ms Huan Jia was off. She would follow that bird to where both of them are and she will kill them herself.

Meanwhile, in the room, the clad in purple was also preparing to leave.

"Master," cried Sparrow, "Let me help you, master. I will make up for my mistake!"

The clad in purple came to an abrupt stop for he had remembered about Sparrow who was still in the room. A wicked smile was formed on his face, "Oh, Sparrow. While you were gone, I already found someone to replace you. Come out, my dear."

Then, from the darkness, a slender figure appeared beside the clad in purple, "Master, I am here." He lovely voice spoke soothingly in the quietness.

Sparrow's eyes grew wide open for he knew far well who she was. However, he was no longer able to utter any last words before everything went black.

"Let's go."
