After Deus sends his contact information to his group leader, his mind slowly drifted to the past.
He had only join this Adventurer group after his Guild leader ordered him to do so. His guild, which specializes in infiltration and collection of concealed information, is one of the most hated guild in [Yggdrasil] but is also one of the strongest.
According to the report, there is a chance that this Adventurer group had manage to stumble upon a hidden quest that might led them acquiring a [World Class item]. The guild has very high priority when it comes to obtaining [World Class item], after all there are only a very limited amount of them in [Yggdrasil]. So even if the chances that this report is highly false, the Guild has still send one of its high-skilled player.
Deus has no problem scamming or even betraying other people. After all he himself had suffered by this kind of cruel injustice. Also, for him this is just a game, he believes that no one would get hurt. There is also the fact, that he is playing this game for money and not for making any friends.
So as long as the Guild pays enough credit points, then he will do it even it causes the destruction of a group or the infamy of his own character.

{A family, he only felt being in one for a very short time. Since his father is a businessman and while his mother acts as his father's secretary, they would always travel. Still when they got time, they never failed to shower him with their love.
But one day, they have died from a plane crash while on business trip.
During the days of the mourning, he was the only one lamenting for the loss. His aunts and uncles were all currently busy arguing to one another, about which one of them would take more of the wealth that his parent had left behind.
His parent didn't manage to leave behind their last will, so his relatives had taken advantage of his young age. They had turn into a bunch of hungry piranhas, only leaving him behind a small sum of money and an old house that once belong to his grandparent.
His classmates that once envy him, have started to bully him every day. Even his homeroom teacher that would fawn over his parent in the past, had turn blind eye to it. This is where his attitude started to turn for the worst in order to survive.}

But weeks after joining this rundown Adventure group, he started to change slowly. Those cruel laughter by his classmates were slowly forgotten and replaced by the group's excitement just by finding a rare metal. Those greedy eyes of his relatives started to fade away and replaced by their Leader's huge back as he protected them when they got surrounded by an enemy guild.
Maybe he could start all over again if he was with them.
