10 Heroic Descend
Ptolemaeus, a 26 years old Paladin and a Holy knight is currently watching the amusing war happening in the distance. He has been here since the war started but remains waiting to make his 'Grand Entrance'. A hero that would miraculously appear when everyone has lost all their hope. This is how he earned the title 'Hero' and the reverence of tens of thousands of people.
"So that's the old man from the reports that Duke Kaliweir send to us." The hero was somewhat interested to make that old man his subordinate unfortunately, the old man's background was rather shady.
But now, looking at him fighting courageously,..
"Yes your highness, we made further investigation on his background, but we really couldn't find anything. I was thinking before, that he might be a spy from the Felgrand Empire." said an old veteran warrior, while observing the dire state of the city soldiers.
A beautiful priestess added, "But looking at his current situation, he really must be a nomadic mage or a traveler from another continent."
"Hmm, it seems he really is. Now that he's old, he must be ready to settle down in a stable place by joining an influential authority." concluded the heroic prince.
"Thomas!, relay my orders to the Duke, ready the [Mega-Ton Hermos Cannon], tell him to activate it when an unforeseen situation emerges, here's the activation key." the heroic prince handed a platinum wing-shaped key to one of his trusted subordinate.
[That cannon, is one of the secret ace-weapon of the Alfonse Kingdom. At full power, it can unleased a Tier 7 destruction Magic!, at a firing range of twenty kilometers. To prevent this from being use against the Kingdom, two special activation key is needed, one is in the hands of the Duke and the other is in the hand of the King himself. Given that the third prince was keeping it, clearly shows who will be the King's successor.]

Desrook is currently in a very weak state, after being revive by Savant. He is now being carried away by [Headless Vulture]. Savant is also heavily injured after helping Emerald wasp to kill nine silver rank mages. It really was a tough battle since his bone tower is in cooldown. That tower only lasted for an hour, with a troublesome seven days cooldown. They are concerned about their lord, but looking at the situation on the battlefield, they felt relief as their militaries currently holds the upper hand.

*urghh*, a soldier has gotten caught inside a corrosive spider web and was drag below the ground.
"Goddammit!, (we really required some healing and support spells.)" a soldier yell to release his frustration as another soldier beside him died. They can't even retreat backwards, since there are giant centipedes currently attacking the surviving mages at the backline.
"ahhgg!", he slashed his sword towards an incoming underground arachnid. Calling upon his final strength, he managed to chop off the insect's head. *thud*, his knees drop, he was extremely exhausted. He can't even lift his sword anymore. Looking at his surrounding, he realizes that a group of armored beetles are approaching him. Seeing this, he knows that death was imminent.
That's when a group of pegasus appears in the sky. The Priests and Clerics riding it started casting different supporting Spells.

He was leading at least a thousand elite Warriors and Berserkers, as they come charging towards the remaining giant bugs.
On the other part of the battlefield, Barlow's team together with the other rebels started moving towards the direction of the Prince.
