8 Demon General
After Pallandro's [Grand Fireball] incinerated the poseidon beetles, giant vines suddenly blasted out from the ground. Demon general Desrook directed it to climb the wall, creating a natural ladders.
"[Summon forest protector 2nd Tier, Botanical Lion]"
"[Summon forest protector 3rd tier, Cactus Fighter]"
A total of five-hundred rose-like lions appeared, followed by a hundred humanoid cactuses. All of them started sprinting up the vine ladders. Desrook then controls a vine to lift him up to the top.
Watching this, Pallandro started casting [Grand Fireball] the second time. But a new swarm of black locust and a group of poseidon beetles has descended between him and the demon general, ready to act as a shield.
*arhg!* ("This bugs are annoying!), prepare the mystic cannons!, aim at those plant monsters first!" Pallandro yelled, while he stopped casting his magic, to reserve mana.
The soldier started to activate the mystic canons, runes started to shine as a concentrated amount of mana begins to gather on its tip.
"Fire!" with a loud roar, the 20 mystic cannons fired a linear accelerated mass of destructive energy, reaching the might of Tier 4 magic attack.
Seeing this, demon general Desrook also unleased a defensive Tier 4 spell, "[Wall of Ivy]!" An impenetrable wall of solid vines appeared, acting as a shield to protect the botanical lions and cactus fighters.
*Boom* *Boom*
*Boom*, most of his summoned servants manage to survive, but Desrook was left with less than half of his mana pool. Still, Desrook successfully reaches the top of the wall.
"[Summon forest Protector 4th tier, Giga Plant]!" 3 fifteen meter plant monsters that looks like a toad with a big mouth appears, they then started attacking the mystic cannons.
The cactus fighters and botanical lions started attacking the hired mercenaries and mages the moment they reached the top. The swarm black locust are just too many, a large mass of them still sweeps the battlefield.

"Motherfucker!, (these mystic cannons needed more time to make another shot.)" Even if this cannons can fire a Tier 4 destructive power, its huge cooldown time is really problematic.
Pallandro was raging as he looks around to see the state of the battlefield. He realizes that the other silver rank mages assigned to protect this gate are currently fighting that necromancer general 300m away and they are in more unfavorable state than him.
("I have to kill this Druid general first, looking at the amount of monsters he has summoned, I am very sure that he's almost out of mana.")
"Mages, concentrate your attacks on those 3 giant toad-plants, protect our mystic cannons at all cause!" he was flying towards Desrook, while giving this order.

On a different part of the East Gate, tens of [Decayed Commander] is currently leading hundreds of [Shadow Ghoul]. Both have [Low-Tier Physical Nullification], but they are weak against fighters with bludgeon type weapons. That is why, they are currently dashing toward the sword wielding warriors.
The hordes of [Wandering Mummy] were attacking the green robe mages. They might be slow, but it would take two blast of [Fireball] to kill each of them.
The focal point in this battlefield is at the center, where three silver robe mages are currently fighting three [Giant axe mummy]. Two of it just got destroyed to pieces.
"Savant!, your mana is almost depleted! I Dezard, will be taking your head as a trophy, Hahaha" The strongest among the three laugh loudly.
"Kekeke, ignorant little kid, it's still too early for you to defeat an old freak like me." Savant spoke hoarsely, as he raise an ancient looking urn to the sky, "[Soul absorbing Bone Tower]!"
Demon general Savant summons a towering pillars of carcasses. It releases a corrosive miasma that melts the dead bodies of the surrounding fallen soldiers and mercenaries, turning them into murky energy that heals him and replenishes his mana.
"Kekekekekeke!, that was only the beginning brats, [Summon 4th Tier undead, Skelesaurus]!" A boned dinosaur monster was conjured to the battlefield and it started charging towards the surprised mages.
"Let's see how long can you last to this monster who is immune to magic" Savant gave off a sinister smile, watching the one-sided massacre that follows.
