Bloom's POV

The whole day has passed and Urbain wasn't waking up. I approached one of his personal commander Warick " how is he doing, is there any progress in his condition" i asked.

"no, I'm afraid to say that he won't be waking up any soon, cause he's in trauma" he replied with grim expression.

"Trauma!" i exclaimed in worry.

He nodded in reply and said "it takes a lot of time for his majesty to recover from trauma"

"when was the last time he experienced trauma" i questioned, his words begin to beset me.

"last time was when his majesty's daughter Queen Lorraine died. He didn't woke up for three days" he answered worry laced his voice.

"i hope he wakes up soon this time" I said and scrammbed.

Until he wakes up I've to be here and i will stay here. I've to know the truth. Why Urbain was plunged into trauma on hearing  about Abrax.

Remus's POV

It's been couple of hours since he took Zeri with him i hope he healed her. I looked at my hands which were still covered in Zeri's blood. It pains me to see her blood all over me and i was unable to do anything to save my love. For the first time in my life I was feeling so weak physically and emotionally.

The door brust opened and Shylock came in "how is Zeri, is she okay, have you healed her" i asked in witty worrying.

"calm down Remus she is perfectly fine and breathing, don't worry until I'm here" he replied calmly.

"thank you so much for saving Zerii" i said looking at him.

His was at my side in a blink of an eye unlocking my chains.

"what are you doing" i asked astonished.

"it's time for you to leave" he said appalling me.

"what about Zeri??" i questioned getting up.

He didn't replied.

"i won't leave with out her" i added.

"i can't let you take Zeri with you. You have to go alone" he answered.

"no I'm not leaving without her" i retorted.

"why don't you understand i can't let her go. Like i said she is safe until I'm here with her"

"yes I've seen how much you've saved her from the brutal torment" i jeered.

"you aided Corin in tormenting Zeri how can I trust you will keep her safe" i quoth in frustration.

"i was helpless i couldn't stop Corin, but i will now you can trust me" Shylock exclaimed.

I can't believe this man i know he cares for Zeri but still i can't leave her here with these inhumane brutal people.

"when you'll be gone Corin will personally go out and search for you and at that moment I'll sneak out Zeri with me and leave her at castle" he said assuringly.

"do you think Abrax will not come back for her" i said with angst.

"ah-uh i" he was stuttering.

"the truth is Abrax doesn't even know about Zeri's abduction" he said for the first time I've seen fear in his eyes.

"What do you mean by Abrax doesn't even know. Isn't he the one who is tormenting Zerii through Corin" i asked confused.

He delineated me about everything,

"Abrax  don't even have a idea about Zeri's abduction and torment" i said appalled.

"but I'm pretty sure as soon as he knows about Zeri's racking Infliction. He will rip Corin into pieces. She is messing with a barbaric brutal Vampire. She's blinded by vengeance" he said frustrated.

It was a lot to take in, everyone reckons that Abrax is the one who abducted Zerii.

"you sneak Zeri out of here first leave her at the castle safely and then you can come back for me"

"are you nuts i can't do that, you need to leave first if Corin knows about Zeri's absence and your presence she will use you as a decoy to kill Zerii" he infuriated.

"she can't do that" i exclaimed my eyes widened in horror.

"yes she can, if you want to kill Zerii with your own hands then I'll do as you said" he retorted.

"no, if i ever have to do that I'll better kill myself" I quoth looking at him in the eyes.

"okay i have a plan" he sighed.

"first you have to clean yourself, you'll catch every vampire's attention even from a mile with that intoxicating blood covering you" he smirked.

Zeri's POV

I hastily opened my eyes to meet with brightly lit chamber, i squinted my eyes due to brightness I've been in a dark and dimly lit chamber for long time so my eyes took some time to adjust in the brightness. I was on the neatly made bed covered under quilt. I sat up and looked at myself i was wearing a peach color gown which was full sleeved.

I thought I'll never wake up after that brutal torment i had last time, i was ready to die rather than tormented. But i woke up all healed like i was never wounded. There was no pain, no wounds, no marks. I can't be alive.

I can't comprehend what's happening with me I'm going insane with everything going around me.

But the chamber door hastily opened and Shylock entered with smile on his face. When i saw him i was sure i wasn't dead.

"you're eventually up" he said walking towards me as soon as I saw him approaching me all the pain and torment I've been through started flashing in my mind.

"please kill me but don't torment me again i can't endure it anymore please I'm begging you" I pleaded tears rolling down my cheeks.

He halted his steps in the mid and looked at me with saddened eyes.

"i will not torment you believe me" he said calmly but i was petrified.

"do you still have any pain and wounds on your body" he asked with concern.

"no i don't even have single mark or wound" I sniffled.

"what have you done to me, I'm supposed to be dead why am i alive and how can I be healed so hastily" i added with worry i was going insane with it.

"you ever heard about vampire?" he asked me.

"what is vampire?" i asked him in reply.

"I'll delineate you everything once we get out of here" his words felt unreal to me.

"did you said getting out of here?" I asked.

He nodded in reply and said "yes"

He approached me and cupped one of my cheek "you're so innocent and-" he paused.

"let's go" he uttered softly and held out his hand for me to take.

I put my hand on his muscular palm and got up from bed removing quilt.

He offered me a cloak which was in dark burgundy color and furry. I covered myself with cloak to protect myself from freezing cold. He stupefied me by covering my head with hood.

He wrapped his palm around my hand, i looked at him with terrified eyes. "Don't worry i won't hurt you" he said flashing his smile.

I nodded in reply and looked away from him.

The hallways were dimly lit.

"I'm sorry i couldn't save you from the torment earlier" he apologised.

I remained silent, i don't know what to say

I finally gathered some valor and said "it's okay you don't have to feel sorry. Anyway you're helping me now"

He looked at me with his eyes narrowed, he just smiled. I saw the huge door guarded by a snake.

"don't be afraid of him, he's my python Onyx" Shylock said by tightening his grip on my hand.

Who said i was afraid, i always wanted to see a snake but never got a chance to see one. I always heard about them from maids and Laura.

"no I'm not afraid of him, snakes fascinate me but I never saw one before" i exclaimed.

"that was unexpected" he amused.

Onyx was beautiful python with silver body and purple patches on it.



"how are you doing Onyx" Shylock asked by caressing Onyx's head.

He just hissed in reply.

"open the door Onyx we have to leave" Shylock said to Onyx. He nodded in reply and opened the door with his head pushing it. Abruptly cold air hit my face making me gasp.

"are you okay Zeri" Shylock asked.

"yes I'm fine" i replied albeit i was wearing a cloak and hood it was still cold, but it was not effecting intensely.

We stepped outside it was pitch dark everywhere.

"i can't see clearly can't we use lantern" i asked by frowning.

"sorry to say that but we can't anyone could see us which is dangerous for you" he replied.

"okay" i sighed.

"hold my arm I'll show you the way" he said and I held his arm with my both hands.

we walked few steps but Shylock halted his steps abruptly. All i could see was dark silhouette of trees.

"someone's coming this way" he whispered and in a blink of an eye i was standing against tree with Shylock cupping my mouth with his hand.

What just happened i was standing somewhere else and in a blink of an eye i was standing against tree with Shylock in front of me. No human could be so fast they are not humans. Then what are they my heart was beating abnormally against my chest.

He slowly removed his hand and gesture me to be silent and i nodded in reply.

We stood there in deafening silence for wee minutes it was so strange. Whole forest was eerily silent not even single sound could be heard except for my rapid heart beat.

"Zerii you need to go with Onyx from here, i can't come with you" he uttered.

"why what happened" i asked worried.

"Helius is here, he's the one who attacked you in the Masquerade ball. I need to distract him for sometime so you can get away from here"

"one mile away from here is someone waiting for you but the problem is you can't hear him and see him, you could feel his touch. So don't be frightened when he touches you" he said in a witty and was gone.

"okay Onyx show me the way" i said.

Thank goodness that moon came out of the clouds making it bit easier for me to see my vicinity and walk.

"this way Princess" Onyx said politely and I literally jumped on his words. This is not possible he can't talk. Snakes can't talk.

"On-Onyx did you just talk" i stuttered.

"yes i did"

"but how can you comprehend what i said" he replied with a question. He too was startled as i was.

"i don't know but i can comprehend what you're saying" i replied and calmed myself. This place is so mysterious.

"okay let's get out of here before Helius can sense your presence Princess" Onyx said hurriedly.

"okay" i mumbled and we walked swiftly in complete silence.

We walked far away from that house, but Onyx started to hiss at someone or something.

"Onyx what's it" i asked in a hushed tone.

"i think he's the one about whom master Shylock has mentioned before" Onyx replied.

Onyx slowly moved away from me giving the space to the invisible person, i can't see him my heart was again hammering against my chest.

I felt a hand on my wrist pulling me into embrace, i could feel his hands wrapping around my waist pulling me more closer. My head was against his shoulder, his arms felt so familiar and comfortable, but i didn't embraced him back. I was getting this drastic urge to embrace him back but i was afraid to do it, i remember what happened last time when i didn't tried to controlled my drastic urges.

"Onyx" i called out.

As soon as the invisible person heard me call out for Onyx he pulled back but his hands were still lingering on my waist.

Onyx was at my side in a swift.

"yes Princess is he hurting you" he asked.

"no Onyx he's not hurting me, can you just tell me his name" i asked him.

"he says it's Remus Princess" Onyx said looking at me with concern.

My eyes widened in shock he's name felt unreal.

"Remus" I mumbled in shock.

I can't believe he's here but why can't i see him. This can't be him.

"i don't believe you" i said and moved out of his grasp. And soon Onyx came in front of me shielding me.

"he is calling you Zer my Princess" Onyx said still shielding me.

Only Remus used that sobriquet for me.

"i know him Onyx, we can trust him" i said with assurance and Onyx moved out of my way.

"Remus" i mumbled his name tears pooling in my eyes.

"why can't i see you Rem" i said my voice was breaking and tears leaked my eyes.

He embraced me again and I embraced him back wrapping my hands around him. He is my solace it felt like eternity to feel this solace again.

He pulled back and removed my hood.

"why can't i hear you and see you Rem" i sobbed tears were unstoppable.

He cupped my face and pressed his lips against mine gently and i responded back swiftly. It was a soft kiss which lasted for couple of minutes.

When I pulled back he was becoming visible slowly.

"you're slowly becoming visible Remus" i exclaimed in amazement.

"really" he said looking at himself.

"yes Remus i can even hear you" i said idyll.

Now he was completely visible.

"i can see you now completely " i said and snogged his lips. Resting my forehead against his.

"I'm sorry Zer I've hurt you so much without knowing the truth, I'm so sorry please please forgive. I've been wrong all this time. I should have believed you" he sniffled tears leaking his eyes.

I cupped his face and wiped his tears with my thumb.

"it's okay Remus, i already forgave you" i uttered embracing him again.

"i love you Zer words can't explain my love for you" he mumbled.

"I'm so sorry-sorry Zer" he muffled sniffling.

"it's okay Rem i forgive you, if i were you i might have done the same" i said pulling back.

"i love you too Rem" i said and he  snogged my cheek.
