Remus's POV
I flutter opened my eyes to met by darkness only light in the chamber was coming through the small window which was on the roof, only illiuminating middle of the chamber, my hands were tied up in the chains, abruptly a hand tied in chain fell on the floor out of darkness making me gasp, "who are you and where are we" i asked but i was replied with silence, "please say something" i quoth still there was no response, perhaps they must've passed out,whoever it was their hand was briused badly by the chains.
The door hastily opened a woman and man entered in, he lit the candles in the chamber making everything visible for me, i scanned the chamber when my gaze fell on a person lying opposite to me my breath caught in my throat i felt like someone ripped my heart out, it was Zeri who was lying on the floor, she was whipped hardly untill her wounds bled, her face was stained with tears.
Zeri opened her eyes and looked at the woman standing at the door and tears roll down her eyes, horror covered her face.
She walked towards her "don't you dare to touch her" i exclaimed in fury struggling in chains, she ignored me and continued walking towards Zeri, "Zeri i'm here look at me" i said tears leaking my eyes, but she didn't.
She grabbed Zeri's arm and yanked her making her sit Zeri cried out in pain, "please stop hurting her please" i pleaded i can't stand seeing Zeri in pain, she gave some sign to the man and he brought a knife which was glowing orange, it was burned in fire he gave it to the woman, she held it aganist the face of Zeri, "please Corin i didn't do anything, please let me go to my father please" Zeri said her voice sounded so fragile she didn't had strength to speak, Corin scoffed on her words and took Zeri's hand ripped off her already torn sleeve "please it hurts Corin" Zeri sobbed, "please please don't hurt her, hurt me" i plead Corin looked at me and smirked, still looking at me she pressed the knife aganist Zeri's hand making her cry out in pain, Zeri turned her face away and cried in agony, "no-no-no please don't do that" i exclaimed in pain but she didn't stop hurting her, i felt like someone squeezing life out of me i would rather like to die instead of seeing Zeri in excruciating pain, "please stop it hurts so much please Corin" Zeri lamented in pain "that's what i want to do, hurt you like hell Zeri" she laughed. "Shylock pass it to me" Corin said to the man standing behind her, he was hesistating "Shylock can't you hear me" she said desprately and he gave another knife to her, Corin gave Shylock a nod and he held both hands of Zeri, Corin started slicing Zeri's skin making her wail in pain, Corin was enjoying Zeri's pain, she made several cuts on her hand causing her inclement pain, Corin moved her knife to Zeri's face slicing it in her cheeks "please Corin stop hurting her i'm begging you please" i said my voice was breaking, i was feeling an unendurable pain, she licked the knife which had blood of Zeri, " she tastes delicious" Corin exclaimed exuberantly. she took Zeri's hand on which she left cuts and drank blood dripping from her cuts, Zeri suddenly yanked her hand away which angered Corin and she slapped her hard, she clasped Zeri's hand which she burnt with hot knife making her yelp in pain, Corin grabbed her chin rashly "don't you ever again dare to that" she raged and licked her cheeks which had blood due to her slicing, she stopped licking when her wounds were sealed, Zeri's cheeks looked like they were never sliced, i looked at her hand that too was healed, Corin shoved off her face and Zeri fainted falling into the arms of Shylock, she turned towards me and looked at me "why are you hurting her and what have you done to her why is she pretending like i'm not here" i asked fury burning in me "she is not pretending, she can't see you nor hear you i've casted a spell upon you and why i'm doing this, i don't find it necessary to inform you lover boy" she said with satisified smile, "but causing her so much pain gives me joy" she added, she looked at Shylock who was holding Zeri in his arms "Shylock let's go" she said annoyingly, he laid Zeri on the floor carefully and appeared at Corin side in a blink of an eye, Corin held Shylock's hand and kissed his cheek and they both scrammed out of chamber locking it.
Bloom's POV
"what!!!" i exclaimed in horror.
"my brother went into the woods and has not returned yet" i said on which knight nodded his head. Oh Remus what have you done. I went to Aaira with the knight in the carriage to know what exactly happened. As i reached the castle i walked directly to the main chamber.
"Raiden are you okay" i asked.
"i'm fine Bloom" he replied.
Raiden filled in everything happened with him, " it was Abrax who disguised himself as you " i said non-plused, Raiden nodded in reply so it was him who tricked Zeri, i insulted her with my words and hurt her, i should have gave her a chance to speak without listening to her i blamed her for all the misery. Oh i hate myself for it.
King Edward was standing at the large window looking at the crescent moon. I walked towards him and stood beside him, his eyes full of tears he looked so broke, eveyone vacated the chamber except for Raiden, King Elrond and Lord Vettori. "my baby is in a ordeal and i'm unable to get her out of it, she must be calling for me, Zeri never stayed away from me even for day, she might be crying her eyes out there without me" King Edward said his voice was breaking and a tear leaked his eye which he wiped instantly, i kept my hand on his shoulder "we will get Zeri out of there" i said assuringly.
"we need to find a way to get into enigmatic woods and kill Abrax, there must be some way " i exclaimed desperately.
"but how he's the most powerful Vampire and foremost he is the King of Vampires, you haven't seen his strength, no one can stop him from taking what he wants, he is obssesd with Zeri and when i tried to stop him i lost my Lorraine. We are just mere humans infront of them, i tried to stop Remus by keeping him inside the castle but he took off as he got the chance and now he too is in grave danger"he grimaced.
"i know about my brother very well instead i'm puzzled you halted him for three days" i said to see his bewildered face.
"you said he is a sorcerer maybe we could stand a chance aganist him using magic or sorcery and i think King Urbain could help us" i said skeptically making King Edward stagger.
"i don't think he will help us, he is a stone hearted man and he thinks i'm responsible for Lorraine's demise and i haven't seen him in sixteen years, he even never visits to see his grand daughter" he quoth staidly.
"he will help us once he knows in what kind of grave danger his grand daughter is in" i said confidently and he nodded in reply.
"i hope so Blooom".
Zeri's POV
A fervor pain in my right hand woke me up, the pain was so immense, i felt like my body couldn't take anymore pain i was disabled to halt my sobbing 'Remus' i called out missing him ' please don't hate me i didn't betray you, i love you to the extreme more than anything' i sobbed out ' i want to die i can't take this pain anymore ' i was feeling dizzy. Wincing in pain i laid back on the floor.
Remus's POV
I woke up hearing fragile sobs of Zeri. The chamber was lit very dimly but everything was visible, my gaze fell up on Zeri. She was sobbing in pain caused by the wound on her hand, "Remus" Zeri called out my name weakly making me startle. " Zeri can you see me" i exclaimed "Zeri" i called out her name but she didn't respond, she's talking to herself.
"please don't hate me i didn't betray you i love you to the extreme more than anything" she wept weakly making my heart shatter into million pieces,"i want to die i can't take this pain anymore" she said by dropping my heart into the pit of my stomach. i hate myself for causing her so much pain with my words, acts and more prominently by bringing third person betwixt us, i should have believed her ''i'm sorry Zerii for hurting you " i said but she couldn't hear me, her frail sobs were making my heart bleed in pain. I can't even stand seeing a single tear in her eyes but now i was here seeing her getting tormented brutally, seeing her in explicit pain. It is like seeing my own death from eyes, her every frail sob was causing an immeasurable hurt to my heart. She laid back on the floor groaning in pain.
