Bloom's POV

Ball

I was beset about Zeri the last i saw her was going out of balcony annoyed with me and after that she was lying unconscious with blood all over her cheeks in King Edward's arms i even didn't got chance to ask him what happened he rushed out of the castle, i searched for my brother every where in the castle and eventually found him outside of the castle in gardens he was kneeled down and he covered his face with his hands, i swiftly walked towards him" Remus what happened what are you doing out here and what happened to Zeri who hurt her and where she was" i asked him worriedly.

He explained me everything and he was crying, blaming himself for what happened with her I've never seen my brother crying before the pain was visible in his eyes and King Edward has no right to blame my brother.

Present

Now Remus is vanished god knows where from dusk i was worried about him, i hope that he won't do any madness.

Oh there he was going to his chamber "brother" i called but he didn't listen me, "Remus" i hollered and he turned around.

I walked to him and embraced him after couple of seconds he embraced me back, i pulled away and he was boggled with the embrace "are you okay Bloom??"

"Yes i am, how are you brother i was freaking worried when you were gone, numerous thoughts passed through my head when you were gone and when i saw you i was relieved"

"why were you worried about me Bloom"

"last night you were so devastated and you were blaming yourself continously so i thought you'd hurt your self"

"don't worry Bloom I'm fine and i won't hurt myself" he said.

"where were you gone??" i asked.

"i went to meet Zeri" he replied.

"how did you King Edward is mad at you how did he let you meet her" i asked in stupefaction.

"he don't even know about my visit to Zeri" he answered smiling triumphantly.

"i sneaked into Zeri's chamber from the balcony and met her" he added and smiled like he remembered something by touching his lower lip.

"you're great brother" i quoth with laugh.

"love makes you do things Bloom" he said.

"how's Zeri, who hurted her, who is that person do she know him answer me brother" i witted.

"calm down brother, she don't know who's he"

"how's that possible" i retorted.

He explained me everything what happened and what he did and i was so enraged after hearing that, "there's no way I'm going to leave that pathetic berk"

There was subito change in expression of Remus.

"i mean we brother" i quoth.

"That's fine Bloom"

"have some sleep and see you tomorrow, good night" i exclaimed with smile and hugged him one more time.

"good night Bloom"

I was back in my chamber wondering who might it be, who would want to hurt a innocent soul like her whoever did that will regret hurting my love i will rip his heart out.

Zeri's POV

"Laura please i don't want to put that on my nose it's odour is so unbearably strong it irks me" i said with pleading eyes.

"Princess don't you want to heal soon, this exilir will reduce your pain and you will heal sooner" she quoth.

"okay Laura" i frowned.

"That's my good Princess"

"now lay down" she added.

She applied so carefully without causing any pain but that smell was so strong i can't sleep with that pungent smell.

"drink it" she gave me a potion which was in red color, i drank it deftly without questioning it had sweet honey taste.

"with this potion you can sleep peacefully" she said and kissed on my forehead, covering me with quilt.

"good night Princess"

"good night Laura" i don't what i would've done without her.

"Laura"

"yes Princess" she said standing at the door of my chamber.

"thank you for always being with me and helping me like mother" i said with smile.

"Princess Zeri you don't need to thank me, I'll always be there with you to help you until Prince Remus steals you away from here" Laura replied with giggle and left.

It was couple hours since Remus was gone, i felt so void without him.

his grey eyes whenever they look at me they are filled with love and care, his brown locks falling on his forehead sometimes reaching just above his eyes makes him look more gorgeous his soft lips , i remember when i kissed him for first time his lips felt so soft against mine.

My eyes lids felt so heavy and i drifted into deep sleep.

I woke up to the morning light falling on my bed i closed the balcony door last night how come is it open now perhaps i haven't locked so it might be opened due to air.

i felt so better all the soreness from my body was gone and foremost my nose there was no pain all the pain was vanished, i looked at my wrist it was still bruised and had mild pain it's unbelievable the excruciating pain which i had in my nose before falling asleep was now gone it means exilir and potion worked so wonderfully.

"you're up early today" father asked as i was sitting before my mirror brushing my hair.

"yes kinda early" i replied whilst brushing my hair.

"how are feeling now Zeri"

"I'm lot better now father" i exclaimed with smile looking at him through the mirror.

"in one day" he exclaimed in stupefaction.

"yes father don't i look better, the exilir and potion worked so wonderfully all the pain from my nose is vanished" i quoth and smiled feeling so better.

"show me your wrists Zeri"

He took my wrists into his hands and caressed them with his thumb he then suddenly held my wrists in tight grip making me groan in pain.

"I'm so sorry Zeri i didn't mean to hurt you" he loosen his grip.

"it's okay father" i said faking a smile.

The pain was mild when my wrists were handled with care if you go a bit rough it was so painful.

"can you come and join me for breakfast" father asked.

"if you're not feeling well you can have your breakfast in your chamber" he added.

"nay, for sure I'll join you father" i replied and walked with him to our dining hall.

we ate our breakfast in complete silence.

"father can i go to our gardens, it's been a long time since i haven't visited them"

I asked with pleading eyes.

"yes you can but don't wander off out of them, okay" he replied.

"okay, Thank-you father" i bubbled and rushed into gardens which were at back side of the castle. My chamber gives perfect view of our gardens.

i was out in the fresh cool breeze  different types of flowers were there in the gardens, there was not only one garden there were many gardens with different types of flowers,plants and fruits, since i was child i loved being out here in the gardens last time when i was here was with Queen Aila, i miss my childhood when i used to spend my whole day in gardens playing with Laura and other maids.

There is a river flowing beside of the castle due to winter water was frozen in the river, i remember when i was seven i was walking on the frozen water and suddenly the ice under my feet cracked and i fell inside the water, the water was freezing my body became numb and i was loosing the sensations in my legs i thought that was my last day of life and after that i don't remember anything, i woke up in a strangers arms he was so apprehensive and when i opened my eyes completely he relaxed a bit and gave me to Laura, i don't remember his face if he hadn't saved me that day then it was literally last day of my life, i didn't even get to thank him for saving my life.

I was out here in the gardens for wee hours, i talked to maids they gave me flowers and fruits i enjoyed being out with them they explained me about different types of flowers.

there was no sun ray's albeit it was midday as day passes it was getting more cold, it was bit cold now since i was out for too long i got inside the castle and walked to the kitchen i was starving as i nearer the kitchen the smell of delectable food entered my nose, i opened the door and everyone was astonished to see me, they all wished me,"you all don't need get surprised I'm here to have my midday meal with you all" i said and got in the kitchen all the ladies in kitchen were so startled with my words "if you don't want to eat with me, then it's okayy I'll leave" i frowned and was about to leave when they all said "no" in unison, a lady came forward and said "it will be honor for us all to eat with you Princess " i smiled and quoth "then let's eat I'm starving" they all laughed and made a table to eat i sat with them, Laura entered the kitchen she was surprised to see me here "Princess what are you doing here" she exclaimed in jolt.

"I'm having my midday meal with my lovely ladies and girls" i grinned.

"come on you too join us" i added.

"do your father knows about it Princess " Laura asked.

"no" i replied.

"he will be mad at me if he knows" she apprehended.

"Laura father will be not mad at you, i'll talk to him"

"but, Princess -"

"no buts Laura come and join us" every one laughed at it..

"okay Princess as you say" Laura said and sat beside me.

The food was so delicious and i enjoyed eating with them for a moment i forgot i was a Princess.

I was on my way to my chamber holding my stomach. i never laughed so much in my life literally my stomach was paining due to laughing so much, i opened the door of my chamber and laid on my bed to give my self bit rest, i laid there for few minutes and got up to read my book it's been long time since i read my book, i was deeply lost in the story a knock on my door snapped me out of it.

I was appalled to see Bloom standing there at my already opened door of chamber, i hastily got up from my bed and exclaimed in jolt "Bloom" "yes i'm here Zeri" he said with smile. "can i??" he asked, "oh sorry come in" i replied.

He came in and astounded me with his embrace, i didn't embraced him back i was traumatized, "thank God you're okay Zeri" he mumbled on my neck.

"I'm sorry Zeri for my lunatic behavior.., i shouldn't have behaved like a arrogant jerk and said rash words I'm so sorry" he pleaed still embracing.

"it's okay Bloom" i said and embraced him back wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Ahem" i heard some one clearing throat and pulled away from him and turned around to see who it was to my surprise it was Raiden he stood at the entrance of the chamber in utter shock.

"are you both in love with each other" he asked disappointment can be clearly heard in his voice.

"no" i replied. "we're best friends we had a teeny-weeny argument and i was not talking to him he apologized and understood his mistake now everything's fine"i said and smiled looking towards Bloom.

"ookay" he released a breath in relaxation.

Bloom took my wrists into his hands and looked at them, i saw fury in his eyes he closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled like he was controlling himself, he opened his eyes and said "I'm not going to leave him alive Zeri".

"it must be hurting you so much" he grimaced.

"yes but not like yesterday, I'm much better now Bloom don't worry" i said with an assuring smile and he let go of my hand.

"how are you both" i asked picking my book from bed and placing it in the shelf.

"I'm fine now"

"I'm fine now" they both said in unison which made me giggle.

"That's great" i said.

"how are you Princess i heard what happened with you" Raiden asked.

"I'm better now Raiden, much better than yesterday" i replied.

"you know how to play piano" Raiden asked with inquisition looking at my piano.

"i think i know" i grinned.

"can you play something" he asked.

"for sure" i replied and sat infront  of piano, i started playing my favourite tune. i played it for wee minutes i abruptly stopped playing it when a sudden severe pain crawled in my wrists.

"are you okayy Zeri" Raiden asked holding my wrists by kneeling in front of me.

"yes I'm kinda fine" i replied gulping the pain and on my left side stood the Apprehensive and sore Bloom.

"I'm sorry i shouldn't have asked you to play" he grimaced.

"you don't need to apologize it's okay Raiden" i replied, he let go of my wrists and stood beside Bloom.

"are you sure you're okay Zeri" Bloom asked worriedly.

"yes I'm pretty sure Bloom" i said with assuring smile.

"okay" he quoth.

"Laura will show you our castle Raiden"

"can you show me"

"you want me to show you the castle"

"yes if you don't mind"

Before i could reply Bloom answered him, "she can't show you Raiden, she needs to take rest"

"okay" he frowned.

"I'm sorry Raiden"

"no it's okay he's right you need to take rest i understand"

After couple of minutes Laura came in and took Raiden with her, it looked like he doesn't wanted to go.

"so what a drastic change in you Bloom" i asked and we sat on the couch.

"nothing changed Zeri, I'm the same Bloom who loves you so much" he smirked his words made me afflictive.

"what was that you said before" i exclaimed acrimoniously.

"calm down Zeri listen to me first, i said I'm the same Bloom who loves you so much, but I'm not that arrogant one i won't force you to love me back, I'm not doing anything like i said before i will not make you mine, if you don't want to be i can't take away the happiness of the person i love the most, your happiness matters more to me than mine and remember one thing I'm never going to stop loving you, i will behave like your friend as before" he said holding my hand.

"Bloom i respect your feelings but i can't see my only friend suffer like this" i said the pain in his eyes was clearly visible, i can see he's holding back the tears, i desperately can't see him suffer like this i can feel my eyes burning due to holding back of tears, i can't hold them back anymore and i let them roll down.

"hey Zeri why are you crying" he exclaimed with worry and cupped my cheeks,"look at me Zeri what happened why are you crying" he added.

I looked at him from tearful eyes " i don't want you to experience this dreadful pain, you're in the pain because of me, i broke your heart i should have never involved you in my problem, he would've said it one day i needed to have some patience, but i didn't i was in so haste of making him confess, I'm sorry Bloom you're in pain and i put you there" i sobbed closing my eyes and let tears fall freely.

"no Zeri it's not your fault, please don't blame yourself" he said pulling me into his chest and wrapping his hands around my back, i wrapped my hands around his waist and sobbed silently "I'm sorry Bloom, it's all because of me" he pulled away and said "if don't stop blaming yourself I'll bring that arrogant Bloom back who will say ' like it or not I'm going to make you mine ' want me to get him" he asked.

I laughed on his words, "no please have mercy on me Prince Bloom" i chuckled.

"That's my Zeri" he grinned and wiped my tears.

"I'm glad to have my best friend back" i said engulfing him into hug, i pulled away and gave him smile and sat back in my place.

"Remus explained me everything about what happened, did you ever seen some one around you very often" he asked.

"yes" i nodded.

"who was that"

"you" i chuckled.

"haha that's so funny Zeri, apart from people you know" he said holding back his smile.

"oh come on you don't need to hide your smile Bloom" i said pinching his cheek.

"okay okay stop" he chuckled and removed my hand.

"Let's get serious now okay"

"did anyone tried to hurt you before" Bloom asked.

"no one" i replied.

"okay do you accuse anyone?"

"no"

"no one are you sure"

"yes prince Bloom" i giggled making him smile.

"oh princess your castle is so enormous and beautiful" Raiden exclaimed in joy, making me jump a little.

"Thank-you Raiden" i sang out.

He came and sat in between us, now i was holding back my laugh at Bloom's annoyed expression.

"i think i should leave now" Bloom said and got up from couch.

"what you're leaving so early Bloom" i frowned.

"i have to Zeri and Raiden is staying here tonight"

"oh that will be a honour for us Raiden" i said and he smiled back.

"okay let me walk you to the door and Laura will guide you to your chamber Raiden" i added.

"okay" he sighed and left.

"why can't you too stay here for tonight" i pleaded.

"you know i can't your father looks still angry on my brother and if i had come alone maybe he wouldn't have let me meet anyway he didn't looked angry on me, he talked with me so politely and said me to pass his apology to my parents for rushing out of castle like that" he said, as we reached the door.

"Remus will come tomorrow for Raiden" he said with smirk, after listening to that i became buoyant.

"and one more thing, i don't like him staying here literally he was trying to flirt with you in front of me and i don't know what his going to be like when he finds you alone" he exclaimed in frustration.

"don't worry i know how to handle him" i exclaimed with smirk and winked at him.

"oh okay Zeri, just be you know - i cut him off," oh come on Bloom don't worry I'll handle him"

"okay bye see you soon Zeri take care"

"bye, you too take care Bloomy" i grinned.

"Bloomy huh, i like it" he smiled and walked away waved at me last time before entering the carraige.

"so do you like the castle" father asked to Raiden who was busy staring at me, whilst eating his food.

"oh yeah i loved it, it's so beautiful" he said word beautiful staring at me and moved his gaze before father can notice.

"how's everything in Villintine" father asked.

"everything's good my brother is taking care whilst mother and father are away" he replied.

Father kept him busy with his questions, while i took advantage and slipped away to my chamber.

I was about to change into night gown when i heard a knock on the door and opened it to greeted by Raiden's sweet smile.

"sorry for disturbing you Princess " he said.

"it's okay Raiden"

"can you take me to the gardens" he asked in inquisition.

"at this time, they will be more beautiful in day light" i replied.

"not more than you" he smirked.

"please please Princess the moonlight is enough to illuminate its beauty" he pleaded.

"but it's so cool outside" i said by keeping my hands on my arms.

"i took warm clothes from Laura Princess "

"okay, wait for me in your chamber" i quoth and closed the door.

Why is he wants to see gardens at night and in biting cold, i wore a warm woolen cloak which was in black color covering my whole body from neck to toe.

i went to his chamber and knocked on already opened door he was sitting on the bed as soon as he heard the knock he jumped from the bed rushed towards me. he stood so close to me staring at me in the eyes i moved back and said "lets go now" 'if you're done staring at me ' i whispered to myself, "oh yes" he quoth.

On our way to gardens he was silent which was surprising but I was happy with the silence as we reached the door, he unanticipatedly stood in front of door and said "you look beautiful"

"Thank-you"

"Princess "

"yes Raiden"

"i-i need your help" he stuttered.

"what kind of help Raiden"

"Princess can you" he paused, he looked so anxious.

"can i what Raiden" i asked crossing my hands above my stomach.

"i love a girl and I'm going to propose her, so i want to practice it on you if i make any mistakes i want you to make them right, so will you help me please Princess, i love her so much i don't want to lose her please help me" he asked with plead.

When it's love i can't deny it"okay Raiden I'll help" i exclaimed with smile thinking about how Remus going do it. he opened the door and led me out.

"Thank-you Princess" he exclaimed enthusiastically.

"it's my pleasure Raiden and you can call me Zeri"

"okay Zeri" he grinned.

We walked to the end of the garden and stood there he kneeled down infront of me and took my hands into his, looking into my eyes and said "from the day i saw you, i was spellbound with your beauty and fell for you i love you from the bottom of my heart will you be my Princess for the rest of my life"

His words left me in the wonder and they felt so real like he was saying them to me i smiled and nodded at his words he got up and cupped my face and said "i love you Zeri so very much" and pressed his lips against mine suddenly leaving me in trauma, i was in jolt with his movement and i wanted to push him away but what i did next was unbelievable for me, i kissed him back cupping his face, suddenly the realisation hit me and thought about Remus came to mine and i pushed him away "what are you doing Raiden" i infuriated and moved away from him.

"Zeri whatever i said was true and for you" he said and advanced towards me.

"don't come nigh me what have i done" i said tears rolling down my cheeks and rushed to my chamber. i locked my door and collapsed on the floor tears rolling down my cheeks what have i done, i kissed him back why i don't know. what came over me. but i was unable resist the urge of kissing him back it felt like something was controlling my movements and my mind how I'm going to face Remus i can't hide it from him it will be betrayal if i don't say him about it. i will tell him everything tomorrow i hope that he won't leave me cause i can't leave without him, i poured my heart out for hours and don't know when i fell into dreamless sleep.
