Zeri's POV

my eyes felt so heavy i slowly opened my eyes and i found myself in my chamber at Aaira, my nose was hurting like hell even breathing was causing me exquisite pain and the memories from last night attack flooded into my head, when i was conscious i was in Remus's arms and from there how did i get to my home i was dazed i got up from my bed, my body was sore and my wrists were in burning pain,

i saw my Ball gown lying on the floor beside me, i was in my night gown.

it was almost dawn i removed the drapes on the balcony door and walked out in chilling air, it was freezing out here i looked deep into the woods they looked so peaceful and serene i closed my eyes and imagined myself walking in the woods, i heard door of my chamber opening and opened my eyes swiftly.

"Zeri you're awake, oh my Princess i was so scared about you" he apprehended and took me into his embrace and kissed on top of my head.

i've never seen father so apprehensive before.

"why are you out here Zeri it's freezing lets get in" he quoth and i nodded in reply he shut the door and covered the drapes.

"can you say me who did this to you, do you know him, have you seen him??" he asked in witty.

"i-i-i don't know father who it was and why he did"

"have you seen him" father asked.

"no father i haven't seen him" i replied.

"how's that possible Zeri??"

"when i was walking back into the Ball room from balcony in the corridor a person from behind jerked me inside that dark chamber and before i could see him he blindfolded my eyes and tied me up, he shoved me on the floor and he was gone, he didn't even said a single word to me, after a couple of hours Prince Remus found me and after that i was blacked out and woke up here in my chamber" i quoth.

"how did i got here father?" i questioned.

"when i found you there was blood smeared all over your cheeks, your wrists were bruised badly and you were unconsciously lying in Remus's arms, i immediately took you from him and brought you home that castle was nowhere safe for you after the attack"

"and Remus is the one who's responsible for everything happened with you" he infuriated.

i was dumbfound on his words, i just can't believe what i heard.

"what!! how he could be responsible for it father" i exclaimed.

"it was his responsibility to make sure that every corner of castle is guarded well during the Ball, our enemies never miss opportunity to cause trouble"

"father how he could be responsible for any of it, after all it was Masquerade Ball anyone can disguise themselves you can't blame him for everything" i acknowledged.

"he should be very attentive, he's the future King of Xenia"

"father he's very attentive and i'm pretty sure that he will be a good King- he cut me off "why are you offending him so much Zeri "

"cause i know him very well father" i retorted.

"Zeri it's enough now you need to take rest and from now you're not keeping step out of the castle until we found that outlander" he retorted and scrammed out.

how could father can blame him, he's not responsible for any of it and he can't let anyone hurt me he loves me soo much, father misunderstood him and i need to clear it out.

i was unable to sleep for a second, my anxiety was increasing by each second and i don't know what to do, it was dusk now i was missing Remus so much, i want to see him and want to be with him my heart felt so heavy on remembrance of him and tears pooling in my eyes, i silently sobbed in my pillow lying on my bed and frequent sniffing was causing an excruciating pain in my nose but i can't stop tears from flowing cause i was missing him like hell there was a dire need inside of me to see him.

after wee minutes i heard knock on the door and it was from my balcony door, i turned my head to see who it was from glass door and there he was standing with his staid smile i rushed towards the door carless of my sore body and opened it , i just wrapped my hands around his neck and clutched him with my embrace, i get my solace in his arms and in a jiffy he wrapped his hands around my waist tightening our embrace " i missed you so much Rem" i mumbled through sniffing.

"i missed you too Zer" he mumbled in my neck.

i pulled away and pressed my forehead against his softly, he leaned closer and kissed my lips passionately and i responded with same passion as his, the kiss made me forget all the pain and trauma i groned in pain when my nose was deeply pressed into his cheek, "did i hurt you" he asked worriedly being breathless, "no it wasn't you, it's my nose" i replied, "i'm sorry i was being more passionate" he said and kissed one last time on my lips and embraced me, i felt like i was breathing again all my worries were gone with his touch and kiss, he pulled away and said "lets get inside my love it's freezing out here".

we got in and i closed the balcony door and covered it with drapes i even locked my chamber door.

"look at you Zer what has he done to you" he said by taking hold of my wrists and looking at them.

"tell me who did this to you Zeri i'll rip his heart out, have you seen him, do you know him, do i know him???" he asked in witty.

i explained him everything how it happened and he was apoplectic.

"i swear Zeri he's going to pay for it, i'm not going to leave him" he raged.

"did father said anything to you" i asked him but i couldn't see what his expression was like because his back was turned on me.

i got up from bed and walked over to him and turned him around he looked so disheartened.

i cupped his face and made him look at me" it's not your fault Remus please don't blame your self, father was angry and he blabbered all the things"

"no Zeri he's right it's all my fault i should've personally checked that each and every corner of castle is guarded well" he grimaced.

"hey look at me it's not you're fault okay so please please stop blaming yourself Rem"

he tried to fake a smile but failed miserably.

"i love you so much Rem please don't blame yourself " i said.

"i love you too Zer so very much" he said and hugged me.

"your father knows about us now" he said.

"what!! he knows about us, but how" i exclaimed in witty breaking away from embrace.

"when you blacked out in my arms"

"wake up Zeri please, wake up" i patted her cheek but she didn't moved tears flowing down my eyes, i shuddered her hard she still didn't woke up.

i heard someone rushing towards us but i wasn't bother to look who it was, "please, please wake up Zer" i said clutching her into my chest.

"what happened to her" King Edward asked anxiously.

i explained him everything and he immediately took her from me into his arms, he saw something on her and was dumbfound i don't know what he saw, he immediately carried her in his arms and was walking away.

"where are you taking her??" i asked by stopping him.

"i'm going to my castle, she can't be here anymore" he retorted.

"you shouldn't take her in such situation, let her get some treatment please" i plead.

"she's my daughter i know what i should do you don't need to say me okay, and it's all your fault you should've made sure that each and every corner of castle is guarded well but you didn't and my daughter paid price for your irresponsibility" he outraged.

"i agree with you but please let her get treated first and then you can take her home"

"after what happened with her i'm not going to let her stay here for even a moment"

"please, please don't take her away from me"

"i love her so much King Edward" i quoth with tears in my eyes.

"i can't let my daughter in hands of an irresponsible person who is responsible for all of her pain"

"it will be better for you, if you stay away from her and don't you dare to meet my daughter again"

he miffed and took her away from me and i stood there shedding tears for my irresponsibility.

"how can he blame you for everything, foremost he can't judge anyone on one incident"i provoked running my hand through my hair.

"i need to talk with him about it right now" i said and walked towards the door.

"hey Zeri don't do that, it will only worsen the situation" he said by grabbing my hand and pulling me towards him.

" he needs to know that i love you, he needs to know that i can't be without you and i can't stay away from you" i said looking into his eyes.

"he needs to know that you're not irresponsible, he needs to know everything"

"you don't need to do that Zeri, you don't need argue with your father for me"

"no Remus he should know that he's wrong about you and no one can love me the way you love me"

"it's not the right time to talk about it, he won't listen to you, wait until i find that outlander and prove myself to him "

"it means you've no problem in staying away from me" i asked irritated.

"no Zeri i'm not saying that, I'll see you everyday" he replied.

"secretly" he added and gave his mesmerising smile which made me smile too.

"then it's okay" I smiled.

we sat on my bed talking couple of hours has been passed and someone was knocking at my door.

"what we should do now" he asked.

"you need to hide out in balcony" i replied, he rushed towards the door opened it and went out i closed it and covered with drapes.

I unlocked the door and opened it to see Laura.

"Princess Zeri how are feeling now"she asked.

"I'm kinda better now" i replied.

"his majesty wants to see you Princess"

"okay, Laura I'll see him in a bit"

I closed my chamber door and rushed to open the balcony door it was chilling out here.

"Remus come in she's gone"

He swiftly came in and closed the door behind him.

"it's chilling out" he said and embraced me,

"you're so warm" he whispered and pressed his face on side of my neck, his warm breath raising goosebumps on my skin, i felt so comfortable and secure in his arms, i can be like this for eternity but I've to go now father wants to see me.

"Remus"

"hhmm"

"I've to go father wants to see me" i said and pulled away.

"okay," he quoth and gently snogged my nose.

"i'll be back soon" i said.

"i'll be waiting for you my love" he said flashing me his pretty smile.

I knocked on his door before entering and closed the door behind me.

"how are feeling now Zeri" father asked by closing the book.

"I'm feeling better now father" i replied.

"you wanted to see me father anything important"

"I've exilir for your bruises" he said and looked at my bruised wrists.

"it I'll help you heal faster" he added.

"Thank-you father" i said and took it from him.

"apply it before you sleep, I'll say Laura to help you"

"no need of Laura father I'll do it on my own" i quoth and scrammed off.

I entered in my chamber and found it void, Remus was nowhere to be seen i kept the exilir on the table.

"Remus"

"Remus..., where are you" i invoked.

He unanticipatedly wrapped his hands on my stomach from behind and whispered"I'm here my love" i literally jumped a little with his romantic embrace.

"you freaked me out" i uttered.

He placed a trail of kisses on side of my neck making shivers crawling down my spine, he turned me around and wrapped his one hand around my neck and other on my waist pulling me closer he left gentle kisses on my neck and reached my jawline, he kissed on side of my lips.

And left some butterfly kisses on my lips, i didn't let him deepen the kiss, i was just teasing him with my Kisses, i was just touching his lips with my lips driving him crazy "Zer what are you doing" he mumbled against my lips.

"having some fun teasing you" i uttered.

"please stop doing that Zeri," he whispered pleading.

But i was having fun teasing him so i continued my teasing after couple of minutes, he lost control and adhered his lips on mine, but carefully without causing any pain to my nose i moved my lips a bit and he gave some space "That's my good Princess" he muffled and pressed his lips gently against mine and i responded to him in a same manner as his our lips moved in unison.

We broke away for some air, I'm pretty sure that my cheeks are tinted crimson.

"i need to get going now Zeri" he said and kissed my cheek.

"you have to go?"

"yes my love I've to go" he uttered and snogged my forehead.

"please don't go, stay with me tonight" i pleaded.

"are you sure you're my Zeri" he asked in amazement.

"yes i am, why do you ask"

"cause my Zeri never let's me stay with her at night"

"okay fine get lost from here" i exclaimed and turned my back on him.

"oouh my hot head Princess, i was just joking" he said and embraced me from behind.

"no just go" i retorted and moved away from him.

"hey it was just a irony I'm sorry if i upset you" he grimaced.

"you think only you can spoof me huh" i chuckled.

"you got me well my love" he smiled.

"are you still going??" i questioned.

"I've to go Zer i haven't informed anyone about my whereabouts so they will be worried about me, i too want to stay with you but I'm helpless love forgive me" he answered.

"it's totally fine Rem i can comprehend, you should go"

"Thank-you for comprehending my problem"

"do your parents too know about us" i asked.

"no they don't about us, they only know that your father was angry on me for my irresponsible behavior and took you away with him" he replied.

"That's good, do your father and mother believe that it was your fault"

"no they don't believe, they're literally traumatized with your fathers behavior he never behaved so peculiar before"

"you don't worry everything is going to be fine soon" he quoth and hugged me, i don't want him to go but he have to.

"i'll be back soon, i promise" he said and pulled away to go and tears leaked my eyes, i didn't wanted to cry but my tears were not ready to listen to me and i held his hand.

"hey Zer please don't cry I'll be back soon, if you cry i won't go remember" he said and brushed my tears with his thumb.

"no you've to go i won't cry" i sniffed.

"i love you Zer"

"i love you too Rem, I'm going to miss you so much"

"me too Zer"

we walked out into balcony holding our hands, he kissed me one last time and said "no weeping my love" i nodded in reply i was trying hard to not to cry in front of him.

When he was about to climb i held his hand and uttered "take care" snogging his cheek.

He nodded in reply and slowly climbed down balcony and waved at me one last time and with that he was gone.
