10 A Flabbergast Story

weather was beautiful today the view from my window was incredible, morning sun ray's making ocean look more pretty, last night i bearly slept due to the kiss , i never knewed that kiss can be soo good untill previous night, i was never a girl who dreamt about a prince charming , first kiss, marriage all that stuff , but it all changed when i met Remus , he made my heart long for him, his touch sends chills down my spine , in his arms i always feel relaxed and comfortable. i was snapped out of my thoughts by opening and closing of door, i turned to see who it was.

"morning zer, thinking about me" he quoth.

"morning Remus" i replied whilst abstaining my blush ,by seeing him the kiss again replayed in my head and i turned my back on him to hide my crimson cheeks.

"you can't hide your blushing cheeks from me " he uttered by wrapping his arms on my stomach and pulled me into his chest.

"remembered something by seeing me, love " he whispered on side of my neck his warm breath raising goosebumps on my skin .

"not at all "

he turned me around and raised my face up to see him,

"do not deny it zer, your crimson cheeks are telling me everything"

"we can make a better remembrance this time " he said and cupped my face with his hands and leaned closer to my face.

"not now" i uttered and kept my hand on his lips to stop him.

"okay, let's go mother wants to meet you"

"anything important" i asked.

"it seems she wants to talk with you about something" he answered by taking my hand into his, as we reached where Queen Aila was Remus let go of my hand,she was sitting with bloom in a balcony, he welcomed me with smile and i smiled back, Remus sat on the chair beside bloom.

"morning queen Aila" i wished her.

"morning princess zeri, how are you " she added.

"i'm good" i replied.

" i want to talk with you for a bit" she said and took me to the end of balcony, and we sat on the chair, in this age also she looked pretty and maintained herself well, Remus got all the charms of her mother whereas Bloom has more prominent features of his father.

"zeri you know your mother and i were best friends since we were kids, we were puckish your mother loved adventures, she always wanted to go out into forests and explore"

"are you sure, Lorraine" she exclaimed.

"I'm more than sure, Aila" she babbled.

"if your father finds about it, he's gonna be mad" she perplexed.

"come on Aila he'll never find out, let's go before anyone see's"

"okay"

"i always wanted to do it Aila, I'm ultimately doing this"

"oh! yes my twit friend" she scoffed.

"yes i am twit with only you"

"are you ready to go in there Aila" she asked by crossing her hands on her stomach.

"probably"

"here we go" Lorraine said and grabbed her into the forest.

They walked deep into forest.

"aaahhh-aaahhh" she screeched.

"calm down Aila it's just a twig "

"oh thank god i thought it was some insect" she sighed.

"Let's go Aila" she said and walked forward.

"hey wait for me lorrie" she yelled.

Lorraine turned back to see where Aila is,

"make it fast Ail" she yelled back and turned around to get bumped into a muscular body.

"are you okay, what a beautiful princess like you doing in here" he asked.

"I'm fine, having some walk" Lorraine replied.

"walk in wood's?"

"yes, do you have any problem with that"

"oh you've company" he said by seeing Aila coming from behind.

"hey you just-"she paused by seeing a muscular man standing in front of them.

"can you move out of our way" Lorraine exclaimed.

"Lorraine we should perhaps get back to castle it's getting dark" Aila said in haste and grabbed Lorraine's arm.

"why are you in so haste"

"your friend is right, it's getting darker and it's dangerous to be in here when it gets dark" he mocked on the 'dangerous'.

"fine, let's get back Aila" she sighed and turned around to leave.

"can i accompany you?" he asked.

"mmhhh you can" she answered.

They walked in silence for minutes.

"I'm Edward" he blurted.

"you probably know our names, anyway I'm Lorraine and this is my friend Aila"

Lorraine stumbled on the root and was about whack the ground but Edward got hold of her and saved her from whacking on the ground.

It's all started from there, they started meeting daily and eventually fell in love with each other, one fine day Edward brought his friend with him to accompany Aila.

"Can you guess who it was zeri"

"King Edmund " i said blissfully, and she nodded.

I can see from corner of my eye two pair of eyes starring at me, even his stare sends chills down my body but Bloom gaze was making me pretty uncomfortable, his gaze was lustful whereas Remus's gaze always full of love, i turned my back on them and stared into beautiful ocean of mild waves.

"how come father know about it" Lorraine retorted.

"perhaps anyone had filled-in to him" Aila exclaimed.

"no one knows about it"

"lorrie probably someone seen us sneaking out"

"how we gonna meet them, ail"

"i don't know lorrie"

"don't do anything absurd now, King Urbain is already mad at us"

"okay" Lorraine sighed.

"how are we gonna a find them Edward?"

"i don't know, wait i remember once she said her chamber is in the right wing of the castle"

"so what are we waiting for, let's find our princesses" Edmund babbled

"are you sure this is her chamber" Edmund uttered.

"i hope so"

He opened the door carefully without making any sounds and found her sitting on bed staidly.

"missing someone" Edward quoth.

"what are you doing here?? how did you get in??" she asked anxiously.

"calm down, Lorraine" Edward shush her and took her into embrace "i missed you so much".

"i missed you too"

"uuhh-uhm" Edmund cleared his throat "where's Aila's chamber"

Lorraine broke away from embrace "on opposite side"

"Thank-you, now you can continue" he chuckled and closed the door.

"why didn't you said he was here"

"i totally forgot about him when i saw you"

"why didn't you come to meet me??" he asked.

"father knew about our sneak out and he disallowed us from going out of castle anymore, that's the reason why i ain't came to meet you, Edward" Lorraine answered.

" it means we can't see each other any more" Edward distressed.

" father has scrupulously forbidden us from going out"

"you know that i can't bare the separation from you, Lorraine"

"i know, but we have no option"

"i reckon time has come to talk with King Urbain"

"you're going to talk to my father " Lorraine perplexed.

"yes anyway someday I've to talk with him about our marriage, why not it be today" he acknowledged.

"what!! you're gonna talk to him now"

"yes, that's a good idea i'll talk to him right now " Edward said and turned toward door.

" wait what are doing that's very bad idea if my father knows about your sneak inn in castle, he will incarcerate you and Edmund"

"let him do whatever he wants do i'll talk to him"

"i'm not halting you from talking to him but doing it right now is not a good idea"

"fine" Edward sighed.

Edward and Edmund lost track of time with Lorraine and Aila .

"i think you should leave now, it has been wee hours since you're here" Lorraine quoth.

"okay, i will soon be coming to talk with your father"

"I'll be waiting" Lorraine replied.

they both got caught when they were climbing down from corridor, guards caught them and took them to King Urbain .

"what is your purpose to sneak inn in my castle" Urbain asked them.

"we came here to meet our princesses" Edmund said whilst struggling in guards grip.

"how dare you"

"guards take them to Bastille" Urbain spat.

while they both struggled in the grip of guards, they dragged them to Bastille.

"father stop it please they're here to see us " Lorraine quoth whilst panting.

"why the heck they want to see you both" Urbain provoked eyeing Lorraine and Aila.

"answer me" he yelled.

they both jumped on his raised voice.

"cause we love them"

"cause we love them"

Lorraine and Aila answered him in unison.

"so these two were reason for your sneak out of castle" he provoked.

they both nodded there head in reply.

"please listen to me King Urbain " Edward said while struggling.

"leave them guards" Urbain decreed.

"i'm listening"

"i'm Edward Ambrosia - Urbain cut him off" so you're the son of Taryn Ambrosia"

" yes" Edward replied.

" i love your daughter and i want to marry her with your permission" he quoth confidently.

''what about you young man" Urbain asked to Edmund.

''i'm Edmund Zorla and i love Aila" he replied.

"you're the son of Francis Zorla"

''yes'' Edmund answered.

"i appreciate your bravery prince's, no one has guts to enter my castle without my permission, but you both did it for your love, took a great risk"

"i would like to have word with your fathers about marriages and Aila's father will agree with me, you both chose best for you princesses" Urbain verbalised.

Edward-Lorraine and Edmund-Aila their wedding ceremony was illustrious, both of the couples got married on same day.

my eyes full of unshed tears, after listening so much about mother how can i not miss her, i never got chance to talk with her or listen her stories from her i was only two when i lost her a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Ohh Zeri please don't cry i know you miss Lorraine" she said by cupping my cheek and wiped the tear with her thumb.

"i miss her so much, Queen Aila" i sobbed covering my face with my hands and in a jiffy she took me into embrace.

"Zeri calm down, please don't be sorrowful" she said whilst rubbing my back.

"thank you so much for telling me about mother, Queen Aila" i sniffed.

"anytime dear''

i forgot about Remus and Bloom sitting there watching us i turned around and found their astonished faces especially Remus his worry was clearly seen in his eyes i didn't wanted them to see me cry but when i heard a lot about my mother i was unable to control the tears.

"i guess we should join them, they would be worried after seeing you cry they might think i would have been hard on you" she chuckled.

i nodded my head in reply and we joined them i sat beside Remus and he instantly cupped my hand which was resting on my lap and squeezed gently.

"mother why was Zeri crying" Bloom asked out of curiosity.

"uuh i will explain it later to you, i don't want to make her cry again" she replied.

"okay, mother"

"mother have you said her about ball" Remus asked still holding my hand.

"i haven't yet, I'll tell now" she answered.

"okay I've to go"he said and squeezed my hand assuring like saying I'll be back soon and let go, but i didn't let go and tighten my grip on his hand and gave him pleading look he jerked the spoon so it fell on the floor under table and he stoop down to pick it up.

"Zer I've to go father needs me, i promise you I'll come back soon" he whispered and kissed on back of my hand and i let go of his hand he stood up kept the spoon on the table and left.

I guess Bloom has seen what I've done and heard what Remus said because there was subito change in his expression his nose was flaring i don't care anymore if has seen.

"soon there will be masquerade ball in Xenia and i want you to come before one week from ball and stay with us" Queen Aila quoth.

"you've to come no excuses Zeri" on hearing that all flaring and annoyance was vanished from Bloom's face.

"yes you should come Zeri" Bloom sang out.

"okay, I'll come" i replied.

"That's good I'll see you later Zeri take care " she said and left us both alone.

"aren't you excited for ball??" Bloom questioned.

"yes, i am" i smiled.

"whatever you did wee minutes ago, i don't like it Zeri" he retorted.

"what do you mean by you don't like" i said in witt.

"i mean you not letting go his hand"

"what you have to do with it, i didn't want him to leave so i didn't let go his hand"

"i don't want him touching you, you're mine and you haven't told him about me it means you feel something for me but you're not accepting it"

"stop your tomfoolery i haven't disclosed about you to him cause i don't want any rivalry between you both because of me and i don't feel anything for you i only like you as a friend and you are ruining that too and I'm not yours" i exasperated and stood up from chair to leave when i turned to leave he grabbed me by arm and shoved me against the wall.

" you're hurting me Bloom let go of my arm" i huffed.

"i don't care you love me or not you belong to me and you're only mine" he said vehemently and let go of my arm.

"I'm not yours" i replied in wrath.

He scoffed on my reply and left.

How dare he say that "you belong to me and you're only mine" now it's getting desperate i plausibly say about it to Remus, I'm afraid that if i say I'll be the reason for the rivalry between them.

Oh god what should i do when i get back to Aaira there will be no possibility of Bloom meeting me so he might change his mind and heart by being away from me.

Remus never came to see me and Bloom's words bugging in my head so i slept early to evade that thoughts and Bloom's words.
