I was seventeen then, happily watching Best friends With benefit with my best friends Rita and Claire. Rita was a striking girl, tall and statuesque, not lovely but with her expressive dark eyes she was arresting, especially when she smiles humor touched her face. she was eighteen years the oldest among us.
"I'm bored, I feel like walking right now". Rita said crisply.
"Me too". Claire agreed.
Claire on the other hand had never been called a beauty. She was not unattractive, there were times when she was smiling she had a sort of quiet prettiness. Her eyes were large and warm and lovely but were rarely noticed because of the spectacles she wore. she generally wore the dullest and plainest of dresses no matter how many times we had urged her to have a pretty dress that enhanced the tones of her skin, she never listen.
"okay". I agreed and we went out for a walk.
I on the other hand was a girl of vivid beauty through what people says and my mirror. My hair not so long but dark and lovely also with a well modelled face and form.
We strolled down town and found ourselves near a beach, we decided to have a little fun.
I took the flats that I was wearing and held it with my fingers. I started strolling by the shore getting my bare feet soaked. I have always loved the feeling of the sea water splashing on my body, I love the temperature of the water so I jumped in.
I float through the water without touching the bottom. I felt so relaxed and didn't realised when my head hit something. I can't tell what it was, all I know is that I was drowning. I tried shouting but nothing came out. It seems as if my mouth was still and everything else went blank .

I opened my eyes and i noticed that I was in a hospital as I turned my eyes to Inspect the environment, I was faced by a young good looking guy ..okay not that young like me but still young and attractive ..very. Good looking guy with a worried smile on his face which makes him look dangerously handsome. Although I've met guys that are more handsome than him ..it just seems as if he attract me in a special way maybe it was his smile or his eyes, I don't know all I know is that I'm attracted to him
"What am I saying, did I hit my head or something? ..yeah that must be it'. I said in my mind "i don't even know him and he better start explaining what he is doing sitting on the edge of my bed ...Right my bed" I said rolling my eyes.
As if he read my mind he said "My apologies, i haven't said a word since you opened your eyes. i know you must be confuse as to what I'm doing here..
...yeah tons of explanation needed, so dude you better start explaining...." I said in my mind
"but I must confess that I was taken by your beauty.
here we go again, guys and there sweet tongue blah blah blah...
you look beautiful when you sleep though but more when your eyes are open".
....now I feel insulted aren't they suppose to love everything about you when they flirt with you. I roll my eyes wishing he could see me ok...that was a lie but is that even suppose to be a compliment. Oh God my mind have got to be kidding me!

"Uh huh, for a while then "thanks for the compliment but explain to me what we are both doing here. how did I get in this hospital and by the way where are my friends Rita and Claire? One is fair while the other is a little dark."
"Okay.. My name is Alex, nice meeting you". with those words he playfully bow.
"Whatever". Okay I'm being rude but huh! I like him ..a lot. Mom is not going to like this. I sang those words in my mind because I hate them. huh! Mom why do you have to be a little crazy church woman. Eh?
"And I restraint you from drowning' he said ignoring my last sarcastic respond. "and you recovered quickly.. To cut the long story short I rescued you by bringing you to this hospital and your friends are outside waiting for you to open your lovely eyes, also I think that I deserve a thank you".
"Thank you Alex for saving my life".
What kind of person forgets that she almost died?
"Please call my friends for me, also tell the doctor on your way That I'm alright and wish to be discharge, I don't want my parents to find out ....for your own good unless you don't mind being accuse of sealing their little princess... They will be worried and I don't want that."
