106 Soul's Guardian

Lancelot

I am now in front of the gate to the Outsideworld. I let Althea be outside. Still it bothers me. Soul and Death are in danger. I couldn't get off it out of my mind. My baby sister Guinevere is in danger. That's what the God of Sky warns Althea. Althea was an apprentice of Sky.

"It's now or never." I get in the portal and I was already outside. I got out and fight the urge of collapsing. I saw Althea leaning on the tree murmuring something. I fall into my knees and crawl to her. "Althea," I call.

"What are you doing here?"

"Fighting with you." She grunted and extend her hand. I took it and I feel energy running to my whole body coming from the nature. "I forget to tell you that coming in for the first time to the other world would drain you."

"Your first time?" she asked.

"Oui." I crawl closer to her and lay my head on her lap and look up on how beautiful she is as sparks flies gather around us and warming us. The skies started getting grayer. "Vous êtes belle." I murmur keeping my eyes on her.

"You didn't bring a bow with you?"

"I do, a foldable one." I close my eyes. "Also few arrows that I brought with me."

"You planning this all these time?"

"I was hesitating. And I choose correctly."

"Get up now." I did get up fully energized. I followed her as we sneak in. The trees and other things has difference from Insideworld. The corridors are empty and we heard voices on the big grounds.

We climb up to the roof and she whistle on the air. A big winged guy attack the woman who had the sword from our house. I just realize that it was Leona who was about to kill my precious sister. I was about to pull out my foldable bow and pull my arrow when Althea has already two arrows with her.

"Do me a favor. Started shooting those big guys from up here. Cover for me."

"Why? We should –" Leona demanded to kill my sister and Althea released the arrows that directly shoot on the main target which is the heart. She whistle as horses started running and she jump off and had rode on one. It was a smaller than others but still beautiful.

I started shooting as what she wished. She started shooting as well, killing those who had the kids. They seemed to see me yet I keep shooting arrows and when I run out of arrows, I got down and roll on the ground. I look around to see lots of people around wearing the same clothing.

The big winged guy started helping Althea seemed his anger is raging. He need to control that one. I pull out my sword and started fighting those scary hideous monsters. Slashing their throats.

"Althea!" I calls.

"Lancelot!" Guinevere calls. I look at her and smiled.

"Hi, baby sister." I wave.

"Behind you." She crease her brows and I duck down and stabbed the man directly into his stomach.

The whole area was surrounded by dark shadows. Once that I am down, I wipe few of my sweat walking toward Leona and look at her who look a little wounded.

"Leona, what a good day to see you." I told her.

"Lancelot." She gritted. Althea get off from the horse and whisper to the horse that is named Artemis.

She walk on the very middle and hold the ground using it to hold the rest of Leona's people. Few of the people around us help us and the guys who are in trouble hold each other. The tall dark guy hug my baby sister which makes me flinch.

"Don't just look around, dumbass!" Althea scowl at me and she throw her throw knife and it hit Leona directly into her wrist.

"Fuck!" Leona scream.

"Uhm, you miss the heart." A boy said who look pale and little ragged. Althea look at him. "I thought you are the one who never missed a thing." The boy smiled at her. Althea chuckled and smiled cockily, which I found very attractive.

"You will all fucking die!" Leona screams as she summon few bad spirit. This is not good.

"There are few dark things around and it is not good."

"When does a black shadow a good thing?" Althea asked. "And you, young man," she speak directly to the boy. "I never missed a thing." She throw her last knife without looking directly to Leona and it was darted directly into Leona's heart. Althea remove her hood and look around.

"I'm Davin." Davin walk toward Althea who extend his hand.

"Althea." Althea took his hand and he kisses her hand that makes me really, really get jealous. I walk toward them and the wing guy was on my sister's arms. I pull out Althea's hand from Davin and took Davin's hand.

"I'm Lancelot." I shook it.

"I know. The one who is gifted by the Goddess of Soul to seek evil and good on one's mind and soul, and to lead the light." I gape on what he said. It wasn't exactly but the extend of our gifts has always additional.

"What are you exactly?"

"A student of this shitty academy." He told which I nodded. I look at my sister to see her holding the winged guy. Althea walk toward them as she heal the man. "Oh, that's Clarence. Everyone just find out that his aching back was a wing that coming out. And that is Gibson," he started pointing everyone. I nodded at them. "Rosy, Danica, Anya and Carmina." Carmina the girl smiled at me sweetly and even come closer to me.

"Carmina," she extend her hand sideways. I smiled and took it as I kissed her knuckles.

"Lord Lancelot d'Auverge." I introduce myself sweetly.

"You are a Lord?" I nodded. "From what country?"

"Country or Kingdom of Psychē, milady." Carmina flushes, aren't they used on those words here?

"You make every girls dropped their panties. I advise you to stop making yourself all charming to them." The tall man named Gibson, told. He even winks at me. I nodded.

"My apologies."

"Nothing to be sorry." Carmina said.

"My mission here is done." Althea announced. "Aren't you going back to your house, Lord Lancelot?" is she asking right now? Wow, I was mesmerized. I walk toward her.

"I'm here to serve and protect you, your highness."

"There's no need for that. As you can see, I could manage everything."

"Darkness is coming." The winged man named Clarence said as he get up, he tear his shirt and hold

my sister's hand. "We have to protect them."

"Stop there, winged man." I said making them all look at me. "Why are you holding my sister's hand?" Clarence blinks.

"Because, I am her guardian, warrior, protector, and lover, my lord." I blink and hold my temple sinking the information inside my head.

"Did you just say lover?"

"I did." I look at Guinevere who only give me those innocent look of her.

"No need to be creep out, brother." Gibson-man pressed my tense shoulders. "They kind of make love and do lots of things." That even makes my eyes dilated.

"W-what?" Gibson winks at me.

"They love each other, nothing to worry." I glance at Althea who just shrugged.

"Did I heard it clearly that my sister is in love to her guardian?" I ask her.

"Lancelot, I am. There's lots of things to do than to keep asking about my guardian." I nodded. She's right. But still I couldn't figure it all out. I won't tell this to my brothers or my mother and father. I wouldn't tell that this happened here. They will be all get frantic about Guinevere.

"Anything else I could help with?" Althea asked as a mare named Artemis walk toward them and push Althea with her nuzzle to my direction. "Please stop that, Artemis." She said coldly. But the mare keep pushing her.

"How do you know that Artemis is her name?" Carmina asked her curiously.

"I'm the second born of Era, my brother is King Nicholas. My affinity is earth and I could speak to animals." She simply answer.

"Nicholas? It wasn't Nicholas Gregory right?" Althea frown.

"It was that Nicholas Gregory that you guys are always drooling over to." Davin told.

"How do you know such thing, Davin? You are here Outsideworld." Davin only bow to me as few professors get in and a woman named Calisie Bolton serving from her Kingdom curtsy on her.

"Princess Althea."

"Lady Bolton." She acknowledge. No hint of dirty darkness on her. Only a little. I look around as students started talking and older people are ordering them and some of them came to us and talk to us. They are known as Professors of the Academy.

"What should we do to secure the whole Academy?" one of them asked. I look at Guinevere and she nodded. I know what to do.
