63 The Bloody Duo

Adhiti

It was like in the battlefield, blood are everywhere and dead bodies are everywhere. That's how I describe the duo with Prince Warren of Hydōr. We are both staring eye to eye while playing madly the tango. His eyes are fierce and I can see that he's quite mad on playing. However, though I am playing madly yet I am happy… I have to be happy and calm.

My fire boost me up, thanks for Odessi. And my water cleanse my mind and to play with heart. It was Serina now, she feel sad inside me and she's grieving for some reason… a man inside this hall might be the man she ever loved and was betrayed.

"Playing mad are we?" I ask to him while we are still staring at each other and playing our violin. He smile instead of smirking.

"I just can't believe that someone has an obsession on playing."

"It's not obsession, dear… it's passion." I wink at him. And it makes him stop from playing but I continue playing. He might recognize someone on me. Let it be. He smiled and play again though I know he smile fake.

I glance at Flame who toke Marissa. That's good, according to plan. But I didn't thought that even Andrew will take Almira and they look like having something between them. I close my eyes and feel Serina's grief inside me and my eyes darted at Prince Wade who is watching me all this time. So, Serina's grief is on Wade.

We finish the music in a hit and catches my breath and I curtsied at Prince Warren as he bow to me in prince like and we face the crowd as they clapped their hands. I gave my bow and violin to my handmaiden that my Mamma orders to serve me.

"It's a very pleasurable night of playing with you." I face Warren and he offer his hand as I hold it gentle without squeezing it and he kissed the back of my hand.

"I am very thankful, Prince Warren." He smiled and I smile back at him as I walk off and order my handmaiden to fetch me some fine wine and she did. I look directly at Eliza who has been staring and watching me all this time. I chin up and gracefully walk to Guinevere and talk with her as the handmaiden gave me my wine.

I talk with the girls and laugh with them with grace and like lady like. The music goes on and few are dancing.

"Excuse me, Lady Serina." We turn to the smiling charming Prince Wade and good thing that Serina didn't want to take over my body.

"Yes?"

"Can I have this dance?" he offer his hand. I took it as he led me to the very middle. He hold my back with gentle that has the same effect on me when Calixe and Flame touches me because of their mate inside me and then he held my hand as we dance and he leads.

"You play beautifully,"

"Thank you, I got that a lot." He chuckled and look down at me. There are a minute before the time for me. I glance at King Elliot who is flushing while my Mamma is talking to him and my father is just a little away to protect her. Almira and Andrew are nowhere to be found and Marissa is probably with Patrick but he can't save her. I will.

"Why are you in deep thought?" he ask. I look up at him.

"Am I?"

The announcer, make a noise with his silver-golden staff on the marble floor and the people pay attention.

"Now, we are going to begin our ceremonial games." The people clapped their hands. "Let's head on the garden." The King and Princess Amanda go together with my Papà a little away and few servants and warriors are with them.

"Let's go together." He offer his arm to me. I glance at Nick and he nod at me. I hold on his arm as we walk on the very wide garden that has torches to give lights and a target a little far. There are seats on the benches that are made and on the very top are the seat for the King and his daughter and sons. Marcus stood beside Princess Amanda and I am standing with the crowd. I search for Marissa and good thing that they are not here.

"Excusez-moi!" he nod at me and I walk off from the crowd. The games had started as I walk and walk. I found Andrew and ask him about Marissa. He's with Almira.

"They are on the maze garden." Andrew told.

"Shit!" Not in that maze garden! I run off toward the maze garden and I heard them running after me. "Why there?!"

"I don't know." Andrew answer back. I remove my shoes and run fast as I can.

Patrick

I was waiting on the entrance of the maze garden to my love. In any minute now they should be here. I miss her badly, I cannot enter the castle for the reason that I don't want to get caught and fail my mission in finding my people. Flame, I am counting on him to bring my love to me.

"Patrick?" a familiar voice that gives me a jolt of happiness. I stood from the bench and as she run to me.

"Love don't run." I spread my arms and embrace her.

"You are okay." She started sobbing on my chest and I caress her back. I nod at Flame and mouthed him thank you. He saluted and left.

"Hush now…" we've been hugging each other for minutes until she stop from crying. I push her a little and scoop her cheeks. I wipe her tears and kiss her lips. She breathed and she kiss me as I kiss her back in full of longing. "Are you fine? What about our baby?"

"I am fine." She smiled. I kneel one knee and kiss her tummy and hug her. She brushes her fingers on my hair. "I miss you so much…" I stood and pull her gently to sit on the bench. I kneel in front of her as I hold her hand.

"I miss you too. I'm sorry, but I have to tell you this, your dad…"

"I know…" she scoop my cheek and I am confused. "I know. He was on my dream. He was happy above." I kiss and sniff her hands. "Patrick, please take me away here. I don't want to be with them. Please, away from that crazy King."

"One thing my baby…" I swallowed and hold her hand on my cheek. "I can't take you away at this moment. Adhiti and Andrew will. You have to be with them and keep safe. Be healthy and please, bare a little more for me."

"Patrick, what do you mean?" she furrowed and a disappointment is on her face.

"I have to do my mission. The Goddess warned me. If I take you away, I will lose you and our baby. Believe me, babe. I don't want to leave you but I have to do what is right to pull down that King."

"How? I don't want to be with that hell again."

"I know. But you have to be with Andrew. He has to bring you back Outsideworld and go far away. With your family." She started weeping and I wipe those tears. "Baby, please…"

"Okay, I have to be strong for us… for our baby." I smiled relieved.

"And I promise to marry you soon." I removed the silver chain from my neck and put it on her. "I vow my love to you and love you, only you." She circled the ring as the pendant of the necklace. She cried and smiled in happiness.

"I vow my love to you and love you always, only you." I move up and meet her lips.

I sat beside her and hug her as I wait for Adhiti or Andrew to come. Marissa hold on me tight and she's trembling. I look into her eyes and she is looking around.

"What is it?"

"T-they are here…" she mutter.

"Who?" I look around.

"The dark shadows…" Dark shadows. I look around and stood. She stood as she hold on me tight. I ready myself for any circumstances. A strong wind blew as the shadows move away. I saw Adhiti controlling the wind behind her is Andrew and a girl that he is holding hands with. Did I miss something here?

The shadows come together as they grow bigger and bigger in front of me and Marissa. I step back as she did. Adhiti run into our direction and I pull my sword and pointed it on the shadow.

"Leave now!" Adhiti my baby sister, commands the shadows.

"No one is leaving!" we all look at the man with guards. I hold Marissa.

"No matter what happens, I love you." I told her.

"Give back my daughters!" The King command "or you'll die."

"Father please…" the girl that is with Andrew pleaded. "Let us go." She beg. The King didn't even blink. "Get her and kill that boy." The guards run to Andrew's direction and I look up on the shadows that hide behind the King. No way!

Adhiti stomp her feet and the ground shakes and roots comes out blocking the guards. She look at me. Run! I took Marissa and we started running. Andrew was with us with that girl… I don't understand. I am really missing something here.

"The carriage is near." I mutter. "Can you still run love?" she nods and the carriage with two horses are waiting. I glance back at Adhiti who is blocking and fighting the shadows. I open the carriage and I kiss her. "I love you." I wipe her tears and push her inside. I look at the girl. "Thank you for being there standing on my love."

"No problem."

"Go now." I closes the carriage and Andrew drove it. I walk back to my sister and use my gift that Soul gave to me. I cover my mouth and nose with my scarf and started fighting them. I had read their move before they even attack me and I defend myself and make a very quick move to put them down.

The guards of Psychē are coming and our little battle was stopped. Adhiti make the bushes tall and she told me to run. We run in different direction. My horse is just near waiting and I started running away from Psychē castle.

Adhiti

I really hope that they are away very far. I was breathless and felt a furry thing cuddle on me. I drop my knees on the cold grass and hug Ruin. I hope that this will end so soon. I walk back to find Nick though I look like a mess and Ruin have my mask and I put it on.

Something is wrong with the game. I saw shadows… And someone is pointing an arrow up. I look to where he is pointing and it was on my mom… no on the King. Marcus had saw and he immediately grabbed the shield from the knight and cover it in front of the King. The people around started panicking. The guards are running after that man. I was about to run after them but someone grab my arm.

"No… stay here." It was Nick's voice and he hug me when people are started running back inside.

I look at my Mamma and Papà. The King has been guarded and my father is fighting shadows. No… that can't happen. I push Nick and run to them. My father's mask was already broken and he has a long scar on his face. I look at my mom and she's bleeding too.

"Fire, water, air, earth…" I call them. "Fire, burn those shadows… Water, clean the bloods, air flew them away back to the hell… earth, protect my father and mother."

"Darius!" my mom screams and Papà keep on fighting. Nick grabbed a sword and fight with him. I look at the King who is all baffled and he took her daughter's face. My mother pushed him and she started weeping. I close my eyes and pray for my father.

Father, please help me find a way to protect them. I don't want to lose them… when I open my eyes, the King is hugging her daughter and he heal the wound on her face.

"I'm so sorry, my daughter…" the king is weeping too. "I'm so sorry…" he said it all over again. I breathed the air mixed with earth, water and fire and they comforted me.

"Thank you guys… thank you father." I look up and saw the brightest star twinkles and then it fades. I put my palm over my breast where the spot of my heart. It is palpating. I turn around me to see the King of Era together with few guards and he is commanding to find them and bring his daughters alive, but not the boys who took them.

He look at my direction and I saw a shadow in a man's form at his side.

"We need to burn that one." I mutter. I can feel a ball of fire was thrown on my direction. I lift my hand and the fire dies. I look on that direction to see a lady standing there. It was one of the Princesses of Pyr, if I am not mistaken she's Catalina. "Thunder…" I mutter. "If you are with us, could you please give a little rain above this castle for that bitch to get all wet?" I ask my brother, Thunder. Odessi or Fire told me about him and it did. It only rains on the hectares of the castle and Thunder gives lightning on the tree near to Catalina. I laugh and walk off on the rain.

I am happy that the King didn't try to kill my Papà and he is accepting him. I saw my mom never been happier and she gives kisses on her father and hug Papà with lots of kisses too. But on the direction where King Elliot, the King of Era is… he's all grim and I can see that the shadows behind him is getting stronger.

I was pulled away by Nick that makes me run on the raining rain. We are very far away from the people and we stop on the fountain of a goddess. I look up at her… and she was me… I stare at the statue and her arms are spread as above her and around her are stars, planets… galaxies… (Well that's what people called them) for short. The whole fountain is her Universe.

"That's you." Nick told. I look at him and smiled at him. "I'm sorry for not being there when you are fighting my father."

"I told you to never intervene on what is happening. I need your dignity clean so we could still enter Era." He giggles but still he look beaten.

"I don't want you to fight alone." He kneel in front of me, one knee. He lifted a velvet box and open it. "I know that we are in very tough night and situation but I never get a chance to ask you this… because of you know. Lots of things happens. Now that your Papà and Mamma are happy because the King had finally accept Darius, let's get married." He breathed. I stare at him and raise my eyebrow.

"That's quite… romantic." I said. He smiled guiltily.

"Adhiti, I love you, my Goddess, my soul, my heart… my everything. I don't want to marry somebody else. If ever I will be a King, I wanted you to be my Queen, my loving wife and the mother of my children… yes, I said children. I mean, we could make dozens." I laugh at him. "Damn! Marry me woman!" he was frustrated and I started laughing.

"Okay! Get up now and put that gorgeous ring on!" he stood immediately and put that gorgeous ring on. It was a ring that has five stones. White, aquamarine, light-blue, green and red-orange. "Wow, did you…"

"Yes." He grin and took my hand and kissed it. "Did you really wanted to marry me?"

"If you don't propose sooner, I am going to drag you to church and declare a wedding." I wrapped my arms around him as the rain keep on raining on us. A white owl flew into us and I offer my arm for her to perch. I look into her eyes and she told me things she saw.

The Guards had been found Andrew's carriage! Marissa and Almira had been abducted… They are going to kill Andrew! I close my eyes and think. I give the owl a message to gather all the animals to protect Andrew. And to bring him on the House of Highest Princess. The owl flew and the rain stopped. She's like calling every bird and lots of birds flew above.

"What is it?" I look into his eyes.

"They have Marissa and Almira." He dropped his shoulders but he stayed strong and scoop my cheeks. "We are going to save them no matter what." He promised. I breathed and feel his embrace. Suddenly I feel a jolt of chill on my veins and I can feel her aura. Eliza… she's near and she's watching us.

Almira

Andrew was driving the carriage and I put the cloak on to Marissa and hugged her protectively. It's not just her that I am protecting but her baby. Though it was all bouncy, we took it and good thing that the seat are soft and won't affect the baby.

"We are going to make this…" I mutter to her.

She hug me and she keep herself strong. The horses wails and we both scream when the carriage flip out. We all flip as we roll and get bump on the sides of the carriage. I ask her if she's fine and she hold her stomach. I put my hand over her stomach and heal her to protect her baby. Though I can feel a cold cut on my forehead, I push myself up to look for Andrew. He was lying on the ground and he's bleeding.

"No!" I climb out the carriage pushing the door and I crawl into him. "Andrew…" he is groaning in pain and it hit his right chest.

"Leave… save Marissa."

"No. I can't leave you." I cried. I look around us. The guards are taking Marissa and helping her.

Marissa look unconscious and I stood and cover Andrew.

"I will find you soon and take you away." He promised. I weep as I felt strong arms around carried me away. I tried to push them and bent to him and heal him. To give him strength. "Go now…" he mutter. "I love you." I was surprised on his last words as I was pulled and all can do was scream and scream.

"Drag her and put her in chains." A knight commanded. I can hear the wind… the birds above. I look up to see my white owl friend with others and they attack the knight that are trying to kill Andrew. It must be Adhiti… I let them drag me and to sit beside Marissa who is all pale. I look on her dress if she's bleeding and I am thankful that she's not. I hug her and let her lean on my shoulders.

A roar of a wild bear and growls of the wolves are around. Thank you, Goddess Adhiti. I slowly can feel that anytime I will pass out. And I did.
