168 A good guy? or a stalker?

After Yuerui knew about the orientation program she asked them about the location of the party.

"It's at our cafeteria. They rented the cafeteria for this." Yang Zi informed them about that.

After a pause, Yang Zi added, "But I suggest that we should come a bit early."

"Why?"

"Because if we come early we would get to interact with our seniors so that they will help us in future need. Like giving us their notes, previous questions, etc."

"You have a point, Yang Zi." Yuerui nodded.

So they decided to come at least half an hour early for the party and left for their home.

Yuerui wore an off white colored dress. She tied half of her hair and let the rest of her hair loose which almost touch her waist. She put her favorite chapstick on her small rosy lip and mascara on her lashes.

After she was satisfied with her look she left for the party.

Yuerui arrived at the cafeteria at around 5.30. She was quite nervous. It was her first time to interact with new people all by herself. Her heart was pounding due to nervousness.

The seniors were already there and were busy with decoration and food management. Yuerui was the first to come among the freshers. She didn't know what to do. She didn't even know if she should go and start to talk with them. Finally, she decided to wait for her friends and silently came out of the cafeteria.

But she was already noticed by one of the seniors.

Yuerui was waiting outside the cafeteria and suddenly someone called him from behind.

"You must be our fresher, right?" he said.

Yuerui got startled. But she composed herself and replied politely, "Yes."

"Hi, I am Bo Hai. I am in 3rd year."

"Oh… Hello. My name is Mai Yuerui. Nice to meet you, senior."

"Are you waiting for your friends?" he asked.

"Yes."

"It's not good to let a girl stay alone. Let me accompany you." Bo Hai decided on his own.

"No, it's alright, senior. My friends are on their way. They will come at any moment."

But the person still insisted to stay with her. Yuerui had to unwillingly stay with this person.

This kind of situation was new to Yuerui. She didn't know how to cope up with the situation. So she decided to stay quiet and wait for her friends. She was praying in her heart for her friends to come as early as possible.

"So Mai Yuerui, which dorm are you in? Or are you living elsewhere?" Bo Hai asked.

'What should I say? I don't want to tell him any details.' Yuerui thought.

"Umm… I have applied for a dorm. Till then I am living with my aunt." She cleverly replied.

"O…"

"Your friends sure are taking the time." He said.

Yuerui only laughed awkwardly in this situation.

"Hey, How long are you gonna wait for them? Come with me. And help us with the arrangement." Saying this Bo Hai didn't even ask for her, he grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the cafeteria.

Yuerui was introduced to other seniors by Bo Hai.

"Guys, this is Mai Yuerui, our fresher." He said.

"Hello," Yuerui replied to everyone.

"Hi,Mai Yuerui. Nice to meet you."

"Is your eyes real? Or are you wearing contact lenses?" one of them asked.

"Oh, no. they are real," Yuerui replied.

"They are really pretty."

"yeah…."

"Yeah…"

"Looks like we already got a beauty from our fresher."

"Yeah. Prepare yourself to have many pursuers, Mai Yuerui." One of them teased.

Yuerui is praised for her beautiful blue eyes whenever she meets with new people. But still, she doesn't know how to react to such remarks. Not mention now in front of a bunch of male seniors.

Yuerui just smiled with a blush.

She wanted to escape from this awkward situation. She looked at the main gate and finally saw her friends.

"My… My friends are here." She said.

"Oh, that's great. Call them."

Yuerui waved her hands and called over her friends. After their introduction, the three of them were told to help with the remaining decoration and so they did.

The three friends went to the buffet area to see the management of catering but their actual motive was to see the menu and secretly eat something.

"Mai Yuerui, you have become very smart." Ning Tan said.

"Yes. I thought I had to initiate a conversation with them so that we can make contact with the seniors. But when we came, Mai Yuerui had already prepared everything for us." Yang Zi added.

"No Guys. It's not like that. Do you know how scared I was? I came early according to your stupid plan and got caught by those seniors." Yuerui said.

"OOOOOOO....." Both Yang Zi and Ning Tan teased together.

"What?" Yuerui was confused.

"Seeing how pretty you are looking today, it would be weird if you didn't catch their attention." Yang Zi said.

"Hey, why didn't you dressed this prettily in the morning, then all the boys would be head over heels for you. Not that Shu Ren." Ning Tan spitted. For some unknown reason, Ning Tan can't stand her.

"Please stop it, guys. I am not here to fool around with boys." Yuerui bluffed away the topic.

At the party, Yuerui became the center of attraction. Where Yuerui was tackling the situation awkwardly, her friends were taking full advantage of the situation.

There made contact with every senior. 

"God bless you Mai Yuerui." Yang Zi said.

Yuerui knew why she said that. She gave out a smile of mockery.

"Hey guys, do you know what I am seeing?" Ning Tan said suddenly.

"What?" they asked.

"With every batch of people we are meeting, do you guys notice which guy is common?"

"I know." Yang Zi screamed.

"Who?" Yuerui asked.

"Bo Hai!" they replied.

"What?"

"Yes."

"What do you think? Is he interested in her?" Yang Zi said.

"I think so." Ning Tan added.

"What the hell are you saying? He already has a girlfriend, Shu Ren. Don't talk bullshit. Look there. They are standing there together." Yuerui pointed at Bo Hai and Shu Ren.

"Besides, I don't like that guy. He is weird." Yuerui added.

"If you say so, we will not say it again." The other two agreed.

The dorm life of Ning Tan and Yang Zi interested Mai Yuerui. She wanted to live that life with them. But she knew her parents will not allow her. So she decided to apply for a room in the dormitory without her parents' knowledge.

One day after class, Yuerui went to the dormitory for some paperwork. After that, she was on her way to her apartment when she got a call from an unknown number.

She received the call and found that it was Bo Hai.

"Hello."

"Hi, Mai Yuerui. It's me."

"I am sorry. Who is this?" Yuerui asked.

"Oh… How foolish of me. It's Bo Hai."

'Heh! Why the hell is he calling me?' Yuerui thought.

"Oh, Good afternoon, senior." Yuerui politely replied.

"Do you know how worried I am for you?" Bo hai said.

"Sorry?" Yuerui was surprised. Why would this person be worried about her?

"You haven't made any preparations for your exam, right?"

"Well… umm…" Yuerui didn't know what to reply to.

"See, I knew it. But don't worry I am here to help you. I have got some notes from some seniors of mine." Bo Hai said.

"Oh, Thanks a lot, senior. But…" Yuerui actually didn't need any notes. She already made quite some notes for her upcoming exam. Besides, she also got some notes that Yang Zi provided her.

"Now, come outside and take these from me. These are quite heavy you know." he said.

"Umm... Why don't you give them to me tomorrow after class, senior?" Yuerui proposed.

"Actually I am waiting outside your building." Bo Hai said.

'What in the f**king world' Yuerui got shocked.

First of all, Yuerui didn't know how this guy got her phone number and now she learned that this guy tracked her address and now waiting for her outside her building!!!!

This creeped her out tremendously.

"Umm… well… Senior, I am actually outside. I am sorry. Is it okay If I take it tomorrow after class?" Yuerui said nervously.

"How long will you take? I can wait." Bo Hai insisted.

'What the hell is wrong with this guy?' Yuerui thought.

"I am actually with my friends in their dorm. I may not come back home tonight." Yuerui made up an excuse.

"Oh.. then I can come to their dorm and then you can take it from me." Bo Hai said.

"No!" Yuerui literally screamed out of panic.

'Do you wanna kill me?' she thought.

Yuerui calmed down and continued, "I mean, I don't want to bother you."

"It's alright. Okay then let's meet somewhere else." He suggested.

Unwillingly Yuerui had to say yes to him. She suggested a place in between the dorm and her apartment so that Bo Hai won't suspect that she lied to him.

When she came to the designated place Yuerui saw that Bo Hai was already there.

'How fast is this guy?' Yuerui thought.

Yuerui intended to take the stuff, bid him goodbye and leave as early as possible.

But Bo Hai did not have that intention.

As soon as Yuerui took the notes and was about to bid him goodbye he proposed her to give her a treat.

"Hey, there is a restaurant nearby. Let's go and grab some snacks." He said.

"No, it's alright."

'Oh… come on. I haven't given you any treat yet. Don't be shy. Besides, every junior is always ready to clear the wallet of us seniors." Bo Hai said.

'Every senior run with their lives if they see any junior only because of the fear that we will loot them in the name of food. But this guy is willingly giving me treat?' Yuerui was feeling awkward with this guy.

"If you say so, then let's postpone it for some other day when I will be with my friends."

"Okay, I will treat you with your friends as well. But today you have to eat with me."

"Actually I had lunch with my friends already. So I am full, senior." she made up an excuse.

Yuerui kept rejecting him indirectly but this guy was still insisting on her.

"At least have a coffee with me."

Now Yuerui was feeling extremely awkward. She kept rejecting him but he still insisted. She felt that if she continued to reject him it may humiliate him. So she finally agreed to go with him.
