48 Weapon Smith Tower

Jian and Yu Yue were flying towards the city. They were not in a hurry so they passed at average speed and after three hours they reached the town.

They entered the city. There was no change in the atmosphere of the town. The town was still bustling with the cultivators and sects. Some were arguing; some were selling things.

Jian and Yu Yue didn't stop, but still, they moved slowly through the city, checking everything. Jian and Yu Yue took one hour to reach the Central area.

Jian said, " Yue'er, are you ready for the exam."

For some reason, Yu Yue's face had lost colour. She looked like she was ill. Seeing this, Jian sighs.

Jian said, " Yue'er, you don't need to be afraid. even if you fail what could go wrong, you don't need to feel pressured if you don't want to take the exam; you can tell me."

Yu Yue shocked her head and said, " No matter I will take the examination; I am just feeling nervous."

Jian asked, "Are you sure? "

Yu Yue nodded, and Jian said, " Let go then."

Yu Yue and Jian then started to move towards a tower. After walking for ten minutes through the crowd, they reached a building where weapons were drawn as a symbol. It indicated Weapon Smith Tower.

Jian and Yu Yue went inside the tower. In the building, they saw that many weapons were hung on the stands, and people were crowding the area. Jian activated Star Gaze and saw that the guns mostly were one-star, and only a tiny amount of the weapons were two-starting

Jian and Yu Yue checked the tower, and after that, they moved towards the desk where a girl was standing.

The girl said, " We'll come to the weapons tower. I am Xiang Nue; what can I do for you?"

Jian said, "Miss Xiang, we are here to take the smith exam. "

Xiang Nue said, " Ohh, do you have your apprentice token."

Jian nodded and Looked towards Yu Yue to take the token. Yu Yue also nodded and took out the token and handed it to Xiang Nue.

Xiang Nue took the token and put it on a small formation. After a few seconds, she took the token.

Xiang Nue said, " This is Your first time taking the exam are you want to take the exam."

Yue hesitated for a while, and after a few minutes, she said, " Yes".

Xiang Nue, "Ok, if you fail the exam, you will not be able to take the exams for three months, and You have to pay 20 SP, and if you need materials, You will need to pay 30 SP."

Jian didn't hesitate and transferred 30 SP to her.

After that, she took the Yu Yue token and put it on the formation for a few seconds.

Xiang Nue said, " Ok, you have registered to take an exam today. A person will come and take you to the exam site. Let me explain the exam. A half an hour later, a person came to Xiang Nue, and she pointed at them. Jian understood that this was the person who was going to take Yu Yue for examination. Jian woke up Yu Yue. All nervousness was gone. Now she was very calm.

A person came towards them and asked, " Who is going to take the examination."

Yu Yue said, " I am"

A person nodded and said, "Let's Go."

Yu Yue looked at Jian and said, " Master, I am going " Jian nodded and went with the person for the examination.

Jian looked at Yu Yue, and after a few seconds, she was gone. Jian sighs and moves towards the desk where Xiang Nue is sitting.

Xiang Nue saw that Jian was coming towards her. She still sat in her position and, after a few seconds, when Jian reached the desk.

Xiang Nue asked, " What can I do for you."

Jian said, " I am here for the weaponsmith exam."

Xiang Nue nodded and said, " Yes, she went for the exam. It will require three hours to finish. If you want, you can wait at the side."

Xiang Nue thought that Jian was still asking about the exam for Yu Yue and was asking about how much time will require to finish.

Hearing her response, Jian smiled and shook his head.

Jian said, " I know that it will require three hours for the exam. What I am saying is that I also want to take part in the exam. "

Xiang Nue thought that she had heard something wrong from Jian because she was shocked and was angry when she heard Jian saying that he also wanted to take the exam.

Xiang Nue frowned and asked, " Why didn't you say earlier? If You had, then you would have gone earlier with the girl who came with you."

Jian nodded and said, " I know that. but I don't want to take that exam."

Xiang Nue frowned, and she was getting angry, but she still didn't say anything.

Xiang Nue gritted her teeth and asked, " Then which exam are you talking about."

Jian was not angered by her way of asking and said, " I want to take the exam for weaponsmith but, the heavenly formation will grade the exam. "

Xiang Nue was shocked, and she said, " What!"

Because Xiang Nue has shouted, everyone's attention was drawn towards them. Xiang Nue became ashamed and after clearing her throat.

Xiang Nue asked, " You sure you want to take that exam. "

Jian smiled and nodded. Seeing Jian nodding, she said, " Wait here," and she left the desk.

Jian knew she would look for someone with higher authority, so he waited for her to return.
