321 HOW CAN I MAKE IT UP TO YOU?

Zoe drew in a deep breath as she gave one last glance at the King before she and Princess Taia left the room as servants. Fortunately, the guards didn't notice their disguise.

'Be well, your Majesty.'

They now went on their way to the other room where Raigon and the Queen were. Her heart beat erratically as she doesn't know how to face Raigon.

"I believe Terra will have the upper hand now that you and older brother will be a power couple again." Princess Taia enthusiastically beamed at her as she almost skipped while she walked.

"You think so?" Zoe gave her an awkward smile as they finally faced the Queen's Chamber where Raigon and the Queen are.

It is not just Raigon that she was anxious about meeting. But also the Queen. She was at fault for all the mishaps that her family experienced.

'God, help me be more forgiving.'

"We're here to deliver the food of the royal family." Princess Taia told the guards. To their surprise, the guards here seemed more reluctant than the King's.

"I'll take it."

Zoe's eyes widened in as she doesn't know if she would be glad that there is no chance for them to see each other now. She could go to her grandmother, Erin and the Hous first. As she was contemplating, Princess Taia refused.

"Lady Wiktoria instructed us to make sure that the royal family finished their meal. I'm certain you don't want the Queen to die of starvation under your care, milord."

Princess Taia bowed to the head of the guards making Zoe stare at her with an incredulous look.

'Is that really you, Princess Taia? I guess I didn't really know you back then. But wait, why did she mention Lady Wiktoria? Is she the traitor that Koby was talking about?'

Zoe was thinking about all these when the guards threw the door open, making Zoe's heart drummed wildly in her chest again.

They step inside, her eyes searching automatically to the man that owns her. And there he was, staring outside the window with his hands clasped behind his back.

'I must say I like this look on him better than the ties.'

Her lips curled up but she quickly bowed her head and followed after Princess Taia who went to the Queen's side. She was lying in bed like she was ill for a while.

As Zoe checked on her, she grew thinner and her face seemed to be a picture of a dry and weary land where there's no water.

"Your Majesty, it's me. Princess Taia."

At her words, the Queen immediately stood up and as she saw her, encircled her arms around her and weep. "I thought you're dead."

Raigon also saw the commotion as he was not paying any attention to them thinking that they were just ordinary servants who were there to bring the daily ration for them.

He also went to their side, opening his arms to Princess Taia who flung herself to him.

"Older brother."

That's the time that Queen noticed Zoe who was just observing the beautiful scene of the family meeting each other again after a traumatic tragedy that they must have experienced.

"Lady Asha?"

Those words made Raigon freeze as she slowly pulled Princess Taia away so he could take a better look at the woman that his mother is referring to.

Zoe bowed gracefully before the family without her eyes lifting up.

"At your service, your Majesty."

It seemed that Raigon was not responding so Zoe glanced up at him, making her see how he was feeling with the different expressions on his face.

At first he seemed to be happy in the sight of her. Then his face turned gloomy as he seemed to fight off the tears from falling from his eyes.

"'I'm glad that you're safe." Then he walked away.

Zoe wanted to reach out to him and ask for forgiveness for being the reason for whatever he was feeling right now. But since there are other people in the room, she controlled herself.

"I thought you were in the dungeons. How did you manage to escape? And why are you here?" The Queen asked her in a soft voice.

Zoe's attention was drawn to her as she was not expecting that.

'Is it her weak body that made her softer towards me? And yes, it's a good question. Why am I here?'

Raigon seemed to hear the Queen's question as he faced them again, even in the distance.

It was Princess Taia who answered for her as she may have sensed her reluctance. "She's here to help us."

"It's okay. We already lost." Raigon responded to their surprise, especially Zoe.

Her eyes unconsciously closed as she felt his pain in between those words. 'I shouldn't have left you when you need me most.'

She bit her lips as she recalled the times that he asked her to come back with him but she refused.

'How can I make it up to you?' She looked at him longingly.

Just then, Princess Taia spoke up. "No, we're not. I heard that Terra will be most powerful and secure when the descendants of the Three combine together."

Raigon and Zoe glanced at each other in surprise, not because Princess Taia knew about that but because they just realized at that time that it was true.

"Azra."They both uttered together.

"That's right. Now that the Crowned Princess is back, you just need to get together again. Am I right?" She grinned at them as she swayed from side to side.

Raigon's face brightened up as he now walked forward to them. Zoe's lips curled up unconsciously as she really missed him. Her eyes feasted on him as he approached them again, now with a hopeful look on his face.

He was still not looking at her directly though. But she was glad that life seems to flow back to him.
