304 A SURPRISING FAMILY REUNION

Buildings. Cars. Lots of busy people wearing ties and miniskirts. Everything was new to Zoe.

"I didn't realize that I've been away too long. Oh!" 

Zoe was just muttering to herself as a guy suddenly bumped into her with a phone in his hand. 

"Ms. Zoe Cheng? Is that really you? I thought you're gone!"

Koby asked her as he dropped his call and stared wide eyed at her as if she was like a ghost appearing in his supernatural vision.

"Well, I'm back." Zoe grinned at him, though it didn't reach her eyes as she recalled that she was not a Zoe Cheng anymore, but Zoe Wang. "I'm surprised to see you here."

"Yeah, I'm actually waiting for my car. How about you? Want to grab a coffee or something?" Koby offered her and gave her an amicable smile.

Zoe gazed at him as he was reminded of their times at Lord Howe Island. They may be acquaintances then and he seems to be a nice and honest person.

She even compared him to Raigon.

'Raigon…'

It seemed like she had a heart problem as a stab like pain pierced her heart as she recalled their last moment together at the dungeons.

"Maybe next time. I have an appointment today." She beamed at him.

She was not bluffing. After she came back to Lord Howe Island, she immediately called on Cayden and told her that she's coming back. Though she was not ready to meet her Uncle just yet. 

They agreed to meet today.

"I see. Let me just get your number then. I might miss out on you again next time." Koby winked at her.

Seeing his flirtatious moves on him, Zoe immediately reacted. 

"Sure." She dialed her number on his phone and put "Zoe Wang" on it.

"By the way, I'm married. That's why I put Zoe Wang in there. Just in case you look for my name." She grinned at him. 

They may have broken up. But she was not here to look for another boyfriend. She was here to get back what originally belongs to her.

"Ah, I see." Koby scratched his head and kept his phone. "I'm sorry, I thought you're still Ms. Zoe Cheng. I don't see any ring. My bad."

At his response, Zoe's fake bright mask of cheerfulness was taken off as she recalled removing her ring and leaving it in Terra. For her, she doesn't want to take any part of it with her.

Seeing her quick change of mood, Koby seemed to sense that something was wrong. 

"We could catch up maybe some other time. You got a lot of stories to tell, for sure."

He slightly bowed his head and stepped backward as a sign that he was leaving. 

Zoe sighed as sme seemed to can't take Raigon from her mind even though he was millions of miles away from her.

She shook her head as she proceeded on meeting up Cayden at the nearby cafe, which is just near the Cheng Hospital.

"Cousin!" Zoe's face cheered up genuinely as she hugged him. She has not seen him even before she had a vacation at lord Howe Island.

"Look at you all grown up!" She tiptoed as her hand reached out for his hair to scrumple it. But Cayden took her hand down and chuckled as he hugged her back.

"I miss you. How have you been? How's your mission?"

'Cayden still thought that I went to a mission,' Zoe sighed as she smiled at him. 

"Well, many got healed." She answered him as it was the truth anyway. Terra has indeed won over the epidemic outbreak. 

"Enough about me, how about you? What's up?" She crossed her arm and leaned forward.

Cayden's lips twitched downward at her question. "To be honest, things are a little rough. Ever since my brother showed up -"

"Wait, your brother?" Zoe furrowed her brows. As far as she knows, Cayden is the only son of Uncle Bo. And now that he mentioned it, she just realized that he was not really his blood cousin at all.

"Yes. It turned out that I have a stepbrother, who was older than me, actually. And he was now being trained by dad to run the company."

"What?!" Zoe stood up as she was just here to get back to her father's hospital. But now there is another villain in the story who she needs to confront with.

"Why not you? You've been working at the hospital your entire life!" She suddenly lowered down her voice as she saw that the other customers were already glaring at her for disturbing their peaceful time.

"Well, you know me, I'm not really into leadership kind of stuffs. But this older brother seemed to be good with that. The bad side is he was slowly turning the company into a profit-making business and the directors are turning against him. But they cannot do anything since he was the CEO's son."

Zoe's face grimaced as she thought about who could be this older brother was who was destroying his father's hospital. 

As if speaking of the devil, he entered into the door, making Cayden stand up in surprise. 

"Older brother…"

"Hello, little brother. Zoe? Is he the one you're meeting up with?" Koby asked of her.

"You're the older brother?" Zoe reacted in bafflement. 

She suddenly recalled their conversation in the car as they were driving to a store for a snack. She remembers him telling her about his father whom he was running away from.

"Your father is Uncle Bo?" Zoe asked again.

"Uncle Bo? You're a nephew?" Koby also had his head screwed loose as he narrowed his eyes on her.

As if to answer all their questions, Uncle Bo showed up as he was about to meet up with Koby at that restaurant too.

"Zoe?" He was taken aback as his eyes saw the meeting of his sons and niece.
