160 SEEING EACH OTHER AGAIN

Raigon stopped at the gates of Xianghai. It had a different atmosphere than the last time that they were there. 

Now he could smell hope and healing, unlike then where it casted an ominous deadly air that warned any trespassers to think twice before entering the land.

Since he is a man of his words, he decided to not enter the village's premises.

"Azra, could you fetch Lady Asha for me? I want to know the latest developments as of today."

Azra immediately went down from his horse and bowed down to Raigon.

"Yes, your Highness."

Azra made his way inside. It didn't take him long before he reached the improvised center for the sick people. 

His mission was to search for Lady Asha but he was also looking for someone else.

His eyes brightened up as he saw her.

"Lady Selena!" He was about to shout but it seemed that she was busy. 

She was hanging on the wet clothes. They have just washed them so they could use clean clothes on their patients as they treated them.

Because she was focused on what she was doing, she didn't notice that someone was glad to see her that morning. 

Azra drew near to her until only a white blanket was separating them. 

"I love you, I need you… Though my world may fall, I'll never let you goooo…"

Erin was singing as she shook off the water that was left in the next cloth that she was about to hang.

As she did so, the wind blew the white blanket revealing a smiling Azra behind it.

"Azra?"

Erin rubbed her eyes to make sure she was not imagining things. 

She was not even satisfied. She ran towards him and hugged him, which made Azra's head jerked back in surprise.

"You're really here!" She beamed at him and flashed her pearly white teeth.

Azra smiled back at her. He didn't understand himself why lately, he wanted to see her and be with her if possible.

He cleared his throat and bowed down to her and commented.

"I didn't know you had such a nice musical voice, milady."

"Oh my gosh, you heard that?" She cupped her cheeks in embarrassment. "I'm like a squeaking door!"

"Squeaking door?" Azra scratched his head. 

Erin tightened her lips as she recalled that their doors here in Terra were different from their world.

Erin disregarded the issue with a wave of her hand. "Never mind. How are you? Did everything go well with the Crowned Prince's talk with the Royal Council?"

"I was not present during the Meeting but according to the Crowned Prince, decrees will be announced stating the request for reinforcements to Xianghai. You could probably rest now."

Erin heaved out a deep sigh. "Thank God. I am a little worried about Lady Asha. She had no sleep at all due to the demands of the patients. The royal physicians were still recovering so she was doing all the rounds. I would like to help her out but I don't have the medical skills that she does."

"Where is she? The Crowned Prince is also looking for her."

Erin's face lit up as she pointed her finger up. "Splendid. Perhaps she just needs a kisspirin!"

"What is a kisspirin?" Azra scratched his head again.

Erin's eyes widened in excitement as she clasped her hand.

"Do you want me to give it to you too?"

She puckered up her lips and leaned forward.

Azra gulped as he stared at Erin's soft luscious lips near his face.

His lips unconsciously imitated hers. 

Their lips were only a few inches apart when someone threw the blanket away.

Both of their eyes widened in surprise as they both swiveled to check on who that is.

"Lady Selena!!" Zoe called her at the top of her voice.

Erin's hand flew to her chest and breathed out a sigh of relief. 

"It's you."

Azra scurried to his feet and bowed to Zoe.

"Yes, it's me. What are you just doing here with Azra?"

She narrowed her eyes on the both of them.

"I-I was looking for you, milady. His Highness wants to see you."

Azra stuttered as he explained the purpose of his visit.

"Yes. He just saw me first and asked me where you are. He was about to leave after I told him that you were inside and doing rounds."

Erin explained with her eyes wide and her eyelashes fluttering vigorously. 

"Really…" Zoe gave Azra a scrutinizing look. He bowed his head and replied, "Yes, milady."

Zoe nodded. "Where is the Crowned Prince? Why didn't he come inside?"

Azra shrugged his shoulders and replied. "He was outside the Gates, milady."

Zoe furrowed her eyebrows. "I wonder why. Alright, let��s go." 

She walked on ahead of them and uttered without looking back.

"Save the kiss for later."

Azra and Erin's jaw dropped open as they looked at each other.

"She saw it. I knew it." Erin whimpered. 

"I'm sorry, milady." Azra apologized and bowed to her before running off to Zoe. 

Raigon was patiently waiting outside the Gates when Zoe came to him.

Raigon was pleased to see her as his lips made a broad smile. 

But it quickly turned into a frown as he noticed that she looked paler than yesterday.

"Are you all right, milady?"

Zoe tried her best to return the warm greetings. But she indeed was feeling tired.

"Yes, your Highness. Just a lack of sleep probably. But I'm fine. How did your meeting go?"

As if he didn't hear her, the back of his hand flew to her forehead and then to her neck and his other hand on his forehead and neck.

Zoe was taken aback at Raigon's sudden actions. And his skin on hers. 

"We have the same temperature. But are you sure you're fine? Don't you have problems urinating? Do you feel nauseous?"

Zoe chuckled at Raigon's attempt to screen her. "You're learning fast, your Highness. No, I'm fine."

Raigon's lips curved up. "That's good. Come with me."
