116 ZOE VS SAVANNAH 3

"I give my immunity to Savannah."

Zoe announced in a calm and dignified manner.

"What?!"

Everyone reacted in unison, stupefied by Zoe's decision.

Savannah bowled over in disbelief.

She could hear everything that's happening in the group as she is only a few distances away.

Erin could not keep a tight reign on herself and blurted out even if she was only the coordinator.

"Are you nuts? Didn't you just see how she treated you ever since the world began until now?"

Clay also responded in disappointment at Zoe.

"Yes, you could give it to any of us Norfolks. Even though you don't choose me. But why give it to our enemy?"

Kristie butted in timidly, but she spoke what is in her heart in defense of Zoe.

"Uhm, I also don't understand her to be honest. But let's hear her out. Maybe she has a good reason why."

Zoe bowed to the Norfolks.

"I apologize for my actions. God knew how much I wanted us to win."

"Yeah, I clearly remember the Providence Petrels story."

Kristie thought out loud.

"And I knew we will. This is only the Immunity and not the winning prize itself. As Erin said, it can be lost by the holder in just an hour."

"You have a point there," Nella commented. "But why Savannah? I still don't get it."

Zoe tried to explain her choice.

"I know the feeling of being an outcast. It hurts more than any kind of physical injury. You feel worthless because everything you do disgusts the people that matter to you. Nobody loves and trusts you. There will even come a time when you'll think of killing yourself because nobody appreciates your existence anyway."

She continued on.

"I thank God that I survived. But I don't want anyone to be in that situation. Even if it is Savannah. I want her to know even just in this necklace that someone cares. Whether she appreciated it or not, I tried."

Anika's jaws dropped open.

"What's the use of the trophy? A real survivor queen is the one who soars above the humongous waves in her life and overcome and help others triumoh as well. You are a legit Survivor Queen!"

Zoe smiled.

"As you are, Anika. And you, Kristie, Nella, Clay and every one of us here. Including you Savannah. You're the evil Survivor Queen though."

"Why you -" Savannah glared but can't help but smile afterward.

Zoe proceeded to eye everyone.

As she did so, everyone had an introspection in their own lives and realized that even though they were struggling in their own troubles, they managed to survive it.

Zoe continued on with her speech.

"The fact that we hold on to our dear life in whatever way we can and we are still alive and kicking is the proof. We are all Survivor King and Queens!"

She then cast her eyes on Erin. "Thank you for this wonderful opportunity of making us realize how blessed we are."

"Oh, don't mention it. I love you guys!" Erin beamed as she opened her arms wide.

"I think this calls for a group hug!" Kristie raised her hand and roared.

All the Norfolks and Tasmans and even the Tribal Council joined in.

Savannah was hesitant but Zoe called her in.

"Come here, Maleficent." She teased her.

Savannah sniggered, yet she moved forward to the team.

The others felt awkward but they welcomed her.

"We are the Survivor Kings and Queens!"

"But wait, where is Mr. Gao? He is also a Survivor King."

Kristie wondered out loud

Zoe searched everywhere and she also didn't find signs of him.

"I'm here!"

Raigon appeared from the hotel side of the beach.

Kristie immediately ran towards him.

"Oh, Mr. Gao, Where have you been? You should have seen our Survivor Queen gave her speech."

She beamed and pointed at Zoe, who was beside Savannah.

Zoe's smile turned into a frown as she narrowed her eyes on Raigon.

From the moment that he disappeared, she felt like something was going on.

It seemed more clear now that he came back with a serious and fierce look.

And he was looking grimly at her as if she had done something wrong.

"All right. Let's finish this so we can all have more time for real bonding."

Erin pushed on with the game.

As they walk back to their tribe's area, Raigon drew near to Zoe and whispered to her ear in a dark and mysterious voice.

"Never leave my sight."

Zoe furrowed her eyebrows and swiveled to ask him why. But he was quicker on his feet.

As soon as she reached her area, she glanced at Raigon again.

His eyes were darting everywhere in the island. But he was glancing at her from time to time.

And as he did so, his forehead would scrunch up and look in the opposite direction.

Erin continued to orient everyone.

"Savannah now has the immunity. So it means no one can slay her for an hour. Our next warriors will be Enzo and Daphne!"

The game continued on until an hour passed.

"Savannah, it's now time to give up the Immunity and transfer it to others. Who do you want to protect?"

Everyone gulped as they waited for her response.

"I hate to do this. But yeah, I give it back to Zoe."

She replied at a fast rate without even casting a glance on her.

"Oh, what you sow you will reap. Zoe sowed love and now she's reaping it!"

Kristie radiated with her hands clasped together.

Zoe snickered in response.

"Don't bother, Savannah. You can give it to someone else."

Savannah pointed out.

"Are you serious? There are only a few castaways left. If you have the Immunity there's a greater chance that you'll be the Survivor Queen!"

"Why, do you want me to win now?" Zoe teased her.

"Well not really. I still want to win!"

"That's good! If I don't have the Immunity, we could have a rematch part three." Zoe jibed at her.

"You're right. I'd love that. Who do you want to protect then?"
