114 ZOE VS. SAVANNAH 1

"She's still staying away from us after her recent fight with Savannah. Maybe she's still feeling guilty that she let us lose."

Kristie sighed as she glanced at Nella's way. She was alone a few distances from them. 

Zoe approached her without saying anything.

It was Nella who opened up to her. 

"I failed. I knew I didn't have a chance to be the survivor queen and win the cash award. At least I have Savannah. She has really been helping us a lot. But after that, I felt so guilty toward everybody."

She continued on to pour her heart out.

"Before I don't feel any remorse when I betray people. Maybe because they were all just strangers to me. But now that we really become close… So this is what it feels like."

She made a burst of coy laughter.

"I wish I could go back in time and make things right. But I guess it would never happen. I already lost their trust."

Nelly shrugged her shoulders as she kicked the sand. 

Zoe was about to speak up when Erin called out to them.

She had already changed her clothes.

"All right, castaways. Time's up. Let's get back to war!"

Nella also heard it and walked back to the challenge area together with everybody else.

Zoe decided to just talk with her after the games.

"Since this is already the last challenge and our goal is to eliminate the castaways until one is left, I would like to make this game a little trickier."

"Those who won twice in a row can gain immunity right? Now they will have an option to give it away."

"As if someone will give away something so precious to others," Savannah smirked as she folded her arms.

"Why not?" Zoe raised an eyebrow at Savannah.

"Not all people in the world are selfish." 

Savannah's eyes widened at Zoe's remarks. 

It was as clear as day that she was talking about her!

She looked around for Mr. Gao and it seemed that he was in sight.

"So you think you're one of them, Zoe Cheng?"

Her lips curved up in an evil smile. 

She stepped forward and crossed her arms.

"Let's have a flashback once again. What kind of daughter would leave her parents to die? Oh, I know! It's the selfish daughter kind!"

She rattled on and even cupped her mouth in fake surprise.

Zoe remained calm and undeterred even though she was boiling inside. 

No one has a right to talk about her past like that!

She glanced around and saw that everyone's eyes were on their heated argument.

"Don't bother looking for your Prince Charming because he's not here to rescue now."

Savannah mocked on.

Zoe couldn't control herself anymore. 

"I'm not looking for a Prince Charming because for once, I am not Cinderella. I am Wonder Woman. And two, I didn't leave them to die. It is their choice to let me live. And I'm going to honor that by not wasting my precious life in greed and b*itchiness to the people around me!"

"What did you just say?!"

"The last one standing was Savannah Xiang. Now let's see who will be the next contender."

Erin oriented to disrupt the two cats from screeching at each other. 

She picked up the next name on the fishbowl. 

"Savannah, ready your weapon for….. Zoe Cheng!"

"Uh-oh. It seemed that this is really their moment to show who the real queen is. The battle everyone's been waiting for."

Everyone murmured to one another in obvious excitement at how the event will turn out.

A corner of Zoe's lip curved up. 

'Finally! An opportunity to prove herself without pulling her hair out.'

Zoe drew in a deep breath and calmed herself. She has been waiting so long for this moment.

And so was Savannah.

She could see how Zoe transformed from the outcast into the darling of the crowd.

'You have the heart of my first love. And now, my long time friends. You won't get away with this, Zoe Cheng!'

Savannah seethed in anger.

"I'm so ready!"

Savannah shouted in a war-like cry.

"Prepare your bows! 1,2…"

Savannah was planning to shoot earlier than Zoe but as she did so, the bowstring snapped and hit her wrist.

"Aaahh!!"

She dropped the arrow and her other hand drew to her wounded wrist.

"What? What happened?"

Zoe immediately swiveled to Savannah after the arrow that she shot went straight at the middle of the pineapple. 

She tried to check her arm but Savannah swept her away with her normal arm.

"Don't come near me! Ouch!"

Zoe paused for a few seconds while the other castaways flocked to her. 

She walked away and Savannah caught sight of her.

"She's really a selfish we… Oh!"

Savannah was about to say 'wench' when she saw Zoe coming back with a medical kit.

"Clear the way. Doctor's in the house," Enzo made space so Zoe can come near Savannah.

Zoe drew closer to Savannah and brought out the equipment that she needed from the medicine kit.

She grabbed hold of Savannah's wounded arm and started cleaning it. Savannah didn't flinch.

"I'm only doing this because you need it."

Zoe explained herself in an unfriendly manner.

"I'm not allowing you because I like it either."

Savannah grouched back.

Zoe didn't answer back as she was having a debate within herself.

'What are you doing Zoe Cheng? She is your long time enemy! You don't even know how she will repay you after this.'

'She's still a patient who needs your help. And you don't help others for them to pay you back.'

Zoe heaved out a deep sigh. She wanted to bang her head after she was finished with her treatment.

After she covered her wound with a gauze pad. Savannah immediately pulled it away.

"Let's have a rematch!"

Zoe's jaw dropped open in disbelief. She didn't even say thank you and now she wanted a rematch?!'

"Savannah, stop it! You're already wounded. Let Zoe win this time, will you?"

Nella butted in.

"But that's unfair! How could she win when I didn't even get a chance to make a shot?"

"But how could you make a zap when your arm is wounded? Can't you see? You already lost Savannah!"

Nella reiterated to her.

"Savannah never loses! I still have my right dominant arm! I could use a blow dart! Zoe cannot win!"

Zoe then stood up. 

"All right, let's do a rematch then."
