109 WARRIOR'S CHOICE 2

"I hope it wasn't me," Nella blurted to Clay.

"Don't worry, if you are, I'll revive you," Clay answered her. 

He gave Nella a reassuring smile. 

"Are you just flirting with me now?" 

Nella directly asked him with a raised eyebrow.

Caly has been following her around for quite some time. 

"Why, will someone get angry?" 

Clay directly answered her without being uncomfortable with her straightforward question.

"No. But -"

She was about to refuse his advancement towards her. She knew him and his family. 

They were one of those who treated people in their status like rags under their feet. 

She will not let herself be involved with such a man. 

Fortunately, Mr. Fu announced his answer so the awkward atmosphere between them was broken.

"I slay Norcan!" 

He shouted out with his spear in the air like he was not an old man but an old warrior, fighting for his tribe.

Norcan fell on his seats and crawled backward.

"Don't kill me, Sir!"

Mr. Fu ran and pointed the spear at him, making Norcan stand up to escape the fiery wrath of the warrior of the Tasman Tribe. 

They were like Tom and Jerry as they ran around in circles.

Everybody laughed at their silliness. Even those who were previously the quiet type roared in laughter.

Enzo, who was on the Tasman side of the challenge area couldn't help but blurt out.

"Geez! I must say, that was impressive." 

He was wiping his tears as he laughed his heart out.

"Yeah, I took back my word," Savannah responded back to him.

She was never leaving his side all throughout the game.

As much as she doesn't want to admit, Enzo is the only man who hasn't fallen for her for 27 years of her existence. 

When they left high school, all the good looking men in their university were crawling at his feet, doing everything to win her hand. 

But she doesn't like them all. She could not get a thrill out of them. Unlike Enzo, who was always refusing her, making him like a prized gem in her eyes. 

"Nobody saw that coming! Who would think that Mr. Fu would do that? This island really is something else. It's like a surgery room where people's hearts were changed in just a few hours." 

Enzo responded to Savannah. He was now getting comfortable around her as they were together all the time on the island and they have nowhere else to go.

"I wonder whose heart will be changed before we set for home."

Savannah thought out loud as she stared at Enzo.

"Yeah, I wonder too."

Enzo responded as his eyes darted to Zoe.

When Savannah noticed where Enzo was looking at, she distracted him immediately.

"You're the best, Mr. Fu! They lost two at once!" She cheered on him.

Mr. Fu roared like the king of the jungle which made everybody laugh and clapped their hands at the same time. 

"Thank you, Mr. Fu," Erin responded when the laughter died down.

"Norcan, you're out in the game, together with Kristie. Now you will be fighting against Nella. Nella, ready your blow dart."

Nella whispered to Kristie before facing Mr. Fu. "I got your back."

"Oh! Go Nella!" Kristie suddenly jumped to her feet and made a cheerleading dance.

Erin started her count. "1, 2, 3… Shoot!"

Nella shot the blow dart straight at the pineapple while Mr. Fu was only able to graze it at the side. 

"Yes!" Nella shook her fist in the air.

"My arm must have gone tired at once," he muttered as he rotated his arm.

"It's okay, Mr. Fu. We know you exerted your best in this game."

Nella bowed to him. He likewise did the same.

"Thank you for joining us, Mr. Fu. You can now have a sip of water at our mini stand."

Erin motioned her hand to a place where Koby set up a mini stand for snacks.

"Do you want to have a snack too?" Norcan asked Kristie.

They were both in the loser area at the back of the Norfolks and cheering on their tribe. 

"No, I'm okay. Nella will bring me back." 

She smiled enthusiastically at him before stepping forward to view the game closer.

Norcan just heard of Kristie's story during their boodle fight. 

Ever since then, he was constantly watching her, if she would show symptoms of her cancer developing into a later stage.

'Why is she so positive all the time?' 

He furrowed her eyebrows as he gazed at her wide-eyed excitement. 

Both of her hands are even balled up in a fist. 

He shook his head and watched the game as well.

Erin was now asking Nella. 

"Slay or revive?"

"Revive! Revive, Kristie!" She shouted.

Kristie stomped her feet and went back to Norcan. 

"See, I know it! Don't worry, someone will come and revive you too.���

She playfully hit Norcan as she stood up and went back to the line of the warriors.

'Can good things really happen with good faith?'

Norcan watched her as she walked away.

Erin announced the next set. "Okay for our next round. Nella versus Savannah."

"Whoa!"

Everyone reacted in surprise. They know how Nella has been a good friend to Savannah ever since. Or accessory to her crimes?

"Thank you, Nella in advance." 

Savannah winked as she greeted her, giving a hint that she must let her win this round.

Nella was not saying anything.

Zoe narrowed her eyes at her. 'Will she be the same Nella as before?'

"Ready your weapons. 1, 2, 3… Shoot!"

Nella shot her blow dart and landed on the leaves of the pineapple. Savannah's bow and arrow, on the other hand, hit its middle part.

"Yepperoni!" Savannah danced as she boasted of her achievement.

"You're a true friend, Nella!" Savannah blew a flying kiss at her. 

Nella remained silent and drew back to her team.

"Did you really let her win that round?" Norcan blurted out on her. 

"We thought you're on our side now."

"Let her be," Clay butted in and defended Nella.

Nella's lips didn't utter a single word.

Zoe gazed at Nella. She was looking at a far distance but her eyes were glistening with brimming tears.

"Savannah, you can now choose. Slay or revive? And who would it be?" Erin continued on.
