80 TRUTH OR DARE 2
The bottle spun around. Both the participating challengers stared in wide eyes in expectation to whom it will point and spill out his or her piece of truth.
Zoe was hopeful as this is not just a game to her. This is an indicator of whether she could trust the man in front of her or not.
As much as he has been presenting himself as a protector in odd incidents in her life, she was still wary of him. She had been betrayed and left behind by the people that she cared for. She does not want to suffer anymore.
On the other hand, Raigon was also taking this mere game seriously. He has been contemplating whether to tell her the truth or not. He knows that if she will remember she would blame him for her parents' death.
He might miss his chance of being reunited again with her. He could stay this way, a different man in his eyes. But he knows sooner or later she will know the truth. And besides, he could not bring her to the city if he doesn't tell her where he resides.
The bottle slowly halts in speed, it's mouth slowly pointing to Raigon, but ends up on Zoe.
"Aargh! Why does it have to be me again? It's unfair!" Zoe pouted her lips and crossed her arms.
"I have nothing to do with this. It is the will of God," Raigon chuckled as he closed his eyes and raised his hands.
"Okay, okay. I choose to dare this time," Zoe initiated as she sweeps her hand.
"Are you sure about that?" A sly smile crept up his face as his eyes bore into her.
Zoe wouldn't be intimidated this time. She has a goal for this game. "I will do anything." She stared back at him.
"Is that so? Hmm. Let me think. Since this is our first try, I will make it easy for you." He said in a kind but mischievous tone.
"Give it to me. I can handle it." Zoe said with confidence. "I can sing, dance, act, compose…" She was counting all the things that she thought she would not be ashamed to do when Raigon's comment halted her.
"I dare you to spend the night with me later," Raigon commanded in a deep husky voice.
Zoe cupped her hand. Her body temperature raised to the highest degree which made her cheeks burn like freshly toasted bread from the oven.
Her hands and eyes frantically flew everywhere around the tent as it is so small for them to sleep together without being physically close together.
"Relax. I don't mean here. Let's go out somewhere later. But we could also end up here at your command," Raigon teased her making her cheeks crimson red all the more.
"I.." She was about to respond to that when Raigon stopped her. "You answered Dare." He reminded her with a pointed finger.
Zoe inhaled a deep breath and nodded her head as she hung it down. Then as if something hit her brain, she suddenly jerked up, "At my command."
Raigon was surprised but laughed when he heard her last remark. "Yes, your Majesty. At your command," He made a courtesy bow to her.
"I think that's fine with me. Okay, I'll be with you tonight." She grinned.
Raigon's eyes sparkled and gleamed as he heard those sweet words from her. Now he has more time with her. If this was not the right time to open up the past, they could have another moment later.
"I love this game!" He exclaimed as he wiped his palms. "Let's do another round!" He spun the bottle and waited while he whistled and his torso swayed from side to side in an invisible tune.
Zoe chuckled as she saw Raigon. "You're so happy. I wonder why," She teased him, her eyes immediately glanced back to the bottle as it is slowing in speed again. This time the mouth pointed at Raigon.
Zoe clapped her hands. "Now it's my turn! What do you choose?"
Raigon gulped. Before the game even started, he resolved to himself that he would always choose the truth.
"Truth," he answered in a cheerful tone, hoping to hide the nervousness from his voice.
"Just as I want," Zoe replied, moving nearer him so she could see him more clearly. "What is your real name?" Her lips turned down as if she seriously wanted to know.
Raigon was taken aback at Zoe's straight question. He purposely does not mention it before so that she could not be associated with him and be in danger again. But he does not want to tell a lie to her.
"My real name is Raigon. Raigon Wang."
Zoe froze for a few seconds. Then her lips went up. "I'm glad to meet you, Mr. Raigon Wang." She extended her dainty hand and shook his. Raigon clasped it and held it firmly. He gazed at her lovely face and greeted her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Zoe Cheng."
Zoe was about to remove her hand when Raigon held it more firmly. Zoe glanced back at him. His face was serious when he spoke, "I plead that you do not tell this to anyone, or let anyone know that you know my name."
"Why not?" Zoe curiously asked. "I don't want to put your life or others' lives in danger."
Zoe drew in a deep breath. She thought getting to know him better would make him easier to understand. But the more she knew about him, the more confused she became.
Still, he told her the truth. Azra already told her his name. But she wanted to find out if he would tell her or not. And she's glad he did.
'Maybe I could hang on that for now,' she thought to herself.
She smiled at Raigon, "Don't worry. You can count on me," Zoe responded to him. She grabbed the bottle. "Now let's do this again.. Are you ready?" She grinned at him while keeping her fingers crossed.
