5 You guys are not guilty 2

Jhagadish went total berserk as he couldn't tolerate some punk bad mouth his wife and daughter right in front of him. he was already pissed about the Rats in the company office who went behind his back, his heart was filled with total anger because he was being blamed for something he didn't do and now some snort nosed brat comes to his turf runs his stinky mouth right in front of his father and father-in-law, that's it this kid is asking for it. he clenches his fists so hard that the veins in his arms starts to swell and bulge out of his skin like a snake crawling through his arms to shoulders.

Bhagat was happy to see that the Rat has taken the bait, but he was with lose when Newar just let him go as he was expecting some action for the embarrassment and humiliation he had to face because of them. but now he would see to it that all the depths would be paid with 100% interest, Bhagat was going through different ways to hurt Jhagadish, knocking all his teeth out or a punch to his throat or give him panda eyes there were lots to choose from.

But reality always fails to meet your expectations, as Jhagadish was about make a move a big hand fell on his left shoulder holding he back. both Jhagadish and Bhagat were surprised , the aggressive face of Jhagadish and the vulgar face of Bhagat were now replaced by a question mark. Jhagadish aggressively glared back and asked

"why are you holding me back father-in-law? he disrespected Reanu , I need to teach some manners to the kid"

"shut up Jhagadish , if anyone is in need of being taught it's you to controlling you anger."

"but father why do not you see I am just trying to fight for Reanu's honor"

"shut up boy , it is not about Reanu's honor . we were just trashing each other to come to a understanding, why do you want to use your fist , you can be nothing more than street thug if you act like this. you are a father now try using your brain ,not fist. I am ashamed to call you my son."

"kid no hard feelings , If it wasn't us someone else would have done it you the same "said Venkat Newar with eyes filled with pity

a sudden disgusted feeling ran through Bhagat's body as if he was a chick getting dumped right after losing her virginity. now it was Bhagat's turn to go berserk as threatening air started to surround him making the atmosphere in the room turn gloomy and temperature drop.

"what.. what did you say? "

"kid take a hint , I know it may seem all unfair but life is unfair deal with it. if I were you I would thank my bother Newar if not for him you would be lying naked somewhere in halfdead condition. with your naked pics all over local forum."

Bhagat's eyes were now bloodshot he was trembling with anger as he slowly asked

" so you are saying I should have quietly been bullied, publicly humiliated ,harassed by you and after its over I should thank you for showing mercy on me."

"Kid you are not getting the point, we did not want to do this but we're forced by the rich kid"said Vealu with a sigh..

with a shaky and Trembling voice Bhagat said

"by forced you mean you guys getting back your jobs uhh"

"sigh...so you heard when we were talking ,..... umhhh... let me tell you the truth ..."

"the truth uh.. let's hear your truth what it's like"

"kid I know we went a little too far but we had to, If not that rich kid would never buy it"

"what do you mean tell me clearly ?"

"all I know is that this rich kid comes to us and says if we rough you up we get our jobs back. but he did not know that me and Vealu were about to retire and this brat Jhagadish will be fired any way, so we didn't need our jobs but, you can not say no to someone that rich and powerful . if it was somebody else I would have not cared but that kids family is different case."

"would you come to the point already... I know it was Raj katappa , just get to the point."

"you young people have no patience these days, listen their are many people out there who want to get in good books of the katappa family. even if Raj did not come for you somebody would just to please Raj come looking trouble for you."

"use your brain , with what happened last night you are now out of Raj's Radar . he thinks you are right now somewhere outside the city laying unconscious naked with two or three bones broken. When he came to me I was in a tough spot if it were my olden days I would have done what he said just for few bucks but, now it is different as I have my own family, wife, daughters and now a granddaughter."

"so, all that happened last night was just a show to con Raj in to thinking that I was dealt with"

"yes kid otherwise you would be lying somewhere in halfway dead condition completely naked but instead you are in my daughter's new apartment with your body in one piece "

come to think of it these two old foggies did not move a muscle last night they were just standing right there as if they were spectators with eyes filled with anger and threat. it was all that muscle brain Jhagadish's doing. it does make sense in a way but it was full of loopholes.

"kid do you understand now, if I were you I would leave this city and try to join college somewhere else . now skedaddle."

"wait , what will you do if you guys don't want your job's?"

"kid mind your own business and leave, we have to prepare for a celebration"

" Now now Newar, the kid is just asking with a concerned heart. listen kid you don't have to worry about us as the place we are at right now is a 15 floored apartment building with 3 underground floors for parking this building is owned by me and Venkat, our wife's run a cafe , a bakery and a restaurant at the ground floor . we were thinking of retiring and opening a convenience store in the remaining space at the ground floor. my daughter in law Reanu is a ophthalmologist and has a clinic in the first floor. As for Jhagadish, the building is missing a building electrician, plumber, janitor and a manager he can juggle between those still he learns he's lesson. As for my youngest daughter and Newar's younger daughter they are going to join college at Bangalore university (B.U) this year. is there anything else you would like to know"

"so, you guys were secretly rich . then why did you come to work at the company"

"No no we bought this building six months ago , as some of our old investment panned out allowing us to buy this building. previously we also used to be tenants but now we are landlords"

Bhagat was shocked as owning a apartment building with restaurant,cafe and bakery in the middle of a city was basic saying I am really rich. looks like whatever investment they were investmenting in really came through.

"we did what we did last night not just to help you , but to not offend Raj katappa. because these type of rich are not used to hearing no. so, kid you don't have to think about it so much all we ask you of now is don't drag us with you. just leave the city and stay out of sight"

"nah, look old fart I am grateful for what you guys did but I ain't coward , it's my life no rich kid or you get to decide for me when even my mother leaves it to my will. what I have is what I have earned and worked for, nobody can take it from me , If not the scholarship program I will find other way , old man problems are not new for me what's new are the opponents, I will study at B.U period! "

hearing Bhagat , Newar and Bool were shocked as Bhagat gave them a totally different vibe then the easily frightened kid from last night they did not understand from where he got all this confidence from.

they were right, Bhagat was indeed a easily frightened kid because he had lot to lose, for which he would do anything to achieve and protect. But now it was different with 'my planet system' and his current strength he knew he had greatest backing a man could ever have, oneself.

"kid you got guts I will give you that, but do not let your young blood get to your head not every thug out there is as generous as us who Will go easy on you ,give you a roof for your unconsciousself. it's not about you anymore thing about the people depending on you or living for you."

"father , I had enough you know enough of this shit , I tried were hard to be a good son , son-in-law and husband . sorry I know I am being disrespectful by raising my voice but do you know what happened in the company , you don't, you just took the word of a stranger and didn't even give your son a chance to explain."

" I know dad I messed up the perfect path you set up for me , I tried very hard. in fact so hard that the other competitors in the office felt threatened by me, so they tried to suppress me by increasing my workload, singleing me out of the group and when all this did not work they tried to threaten me by some local gangs than I used royal axe gangs name."

"why didn't you come to me when they were threatening you?"

"How would you feel if your grown ass son comes to you and says someone is bullying him for his lunch money , by the way how would any grown ass man describe it to his parents or the in-laws?"

"sigh..... It looks like the age and life has really taken toll on me, some shit assed wannabe gangsters are bullying my son huh... ?

"see Vealu I told you my son-in-law was pure gold ... you wouldn't believe "

"guys as much as I hate to break your family bounding I would love to have my money back so that I can be on my way."

The trio watched Bhagat's uninterested expressions and sighed. Jhagadish removed the check from his wallet and handed it over to Bhagat while saying

" look man I am really sorry about last night but not about today you were asking for it , I had lot in my mind I just tried to take out on you so, no hard feelings between us men right"

' what about today thank your lucky stars that they stopped you otherwise you would be in hospital bed for weeks'

thought Bhagat but he could feel sincerity in his apology because this was first time one of the trio addressed him as man not kid. even though Bhagat would not forgive the trio but he wouldn't hold grudge against them.

"I know you guys are not guilty per se but what you did is not something I can easily forgive . uh.. that's it than I will take my leave"

saying his goodbyes Bhagat made his way towards the door only to see it flung open with huge ' ThuD' as a figure came into the room swiftly holding a gun in one hand and something that looks like a badge in other while shouting

"Freeze police, nobody move , on your knees, put your hands were I can see them. any sudden movement will be considered as threat and will be dealt with"
