I wake up in the Mansion with rem holding my hand. She seems to be asleep but as I try to pull away from her hand to let her rest peacefully she wakes up and looks into my eyes. She smiles the most beautiful smile but then, the Smile fades and turns into a grimace and she starts crying and hitting me in the chest. "Stupid! Stupid William! Stupid Stupid Stupid! Don't ever scare me like that again! when I tried to feed you a bocco fruit you still wouldn't wake up! I was afraid you blasted your gate in order to save us! what if you never woke up! Why would you use High Magic on a stupid, weak Mutt! I understand you wanted to save us! but you didn't Need to use High magic to remove our curses and heal us! Idiot Idiot! Idiot Idiot Idiot!" She stops hitting me and stares at me, expecting an apology.

But with a face full of resolve I say "I'm sorry for using such powerful magic on something so weak, I know it was overkill, but it was all I could think to use at the time. But if you tell me I shouldn't have used the magic that healed you and removed your curses, then I say I would do it again and even if it killed me, I would still do it again. I'm sorry that I worried you! But please understand, risking sounding like Subaru In any and all the worlds without you, everything would be empty. the 6 days that I've known you have been the brightest and happiest times of my 18 years two months and 7 days of life. If you died back there or afterward due to the stacking curses I probably would have used that spell on myself, Raised myself into the air and blown myself to smithereens. She wipes her tears, takes a deep breath, and with resolve similar to mine, Begins her story before I can protest, and understanding not to make a mockery of that resolve, I listen.

18 Years ago. Demon-Clan.

(Greedy Jerk-Ass Unnamed Heartless Demon-Clan Chieftan POV)

I am the chief of the demon clan, Twins were born today, and that is completely unacceptable, due to having only one horn each, they will be worthless to everyone. I am not spending any of my Resources on a couple of worthless children. tonight they will burn on a pyre.

4 hours later I gather the Villagers and we begin setting up the pyre, something is odd about the pink haired one, I sense Power in her, But I must be imagining it.

An hour later, it has gotten dark, it is a perfect time to end these nuisances before they take up any more resources. I place them on the pyre and light it. The pink haired one then immediately blasts forth powerful wind magic before the fire can touch them. I can make a lot more Resources with her when she grows a bit more powerful, We will see about the Blue Haired one later. The parents want to call the pink-haired one Ram and the blue-haired one Rem.

14 Years ago. Demon Clan. Magic testing waterfall area.

(Insensitive Villagers POV)

A pillar of water and wind magic shoots up from the lake in front of the waterfall it was caused by a small pink haired girl around the age of four named Ram, she was good at everything. cooking, cleaning, magic, melee combat. The water from the magic even reaches the fields for crops, making our job so much easier. Continually we praise her, Ignoring her worthless twin sister entirely.

Night same evening, Magic testing waterfall area.

(Rem POV)

I try to make the same magic my sister made this morning, but I fail miserably. I can't even cut wood with my wind magic. If I can't match my sister in demon power, then--

Later that very same night. Home, Kitchen and dining area.

"Hey, Mom!" I say, with as much enthusiasm as I can muster. She replies, "what is it, Rem." looking slightly concerned. I respond to her and say "I will make dinner tomorrow!" she then turns around, not responding with a yes or no and continues washing dishes.

My and Ram's room, 10 minutes later. Ram asks me, "what are you going to make for dinner tomorrow?" I respond with my great idea, "Rabbit from the forest with nuts from the trees! and steamed potatoes too!"

Ram tells me "I'll help too!" I respond, "No, I'll be fine by myself!"

the next day, "I can't catch rabbits at all! and The nuts I gathered are too little, I sigh.

Later

A tree nearly falls on me as lightning hits it! it was on fire and everything, My parents told me I can't go into the forest alone anymore. Ram tries to support me by saying the potatoes I made were delicious.

It's Midnight. I wake up to a crash outside, My sister isn't in bed with me, and my parents aren't downstairs. I open the door and the entire Clan is on fire. I'm terrified, I can't move My sister is the only one left fighting the people I would later find out are called witch cultists. My sister protects me from their daggers, and her horn is broken off of her head, that's the source of our power. I think... 'Finally she can be more like me.'

Shocked by this careless thought, Right after she saved me no less, I am wracked with guilt, and I will always blame myself for what happened if only I was stronger! I could have protected her!

Later, we are found and adopted by a man named Roswaal, we work as his maids in his mansion.

14 years later. My Guest Room.

(William POV)

My Heart Is screaming in agony as she tells her story. I can't take it anymore when she said "SO WHY?! why did you save me? I understand you saved my sister, She Is useful and amazing! I couldn't do anything for anyone if I tried! I can't take it anymore With tears in my eyes I hug her and say

"Please! don't let you're past define you! It's over! I am here and I will Protect you and you will watch my back! You don't have to be as good as your sister at anything! I love you for who you are! that's right! I LOVE you! and I can't stop loving you! You are my Amazing Heavenly Demoness! So please! forget your past! She sinks into my hug and just cries into my shoulder. I just hold her like that for as long as she wants to cry and 30 minutes later

Rem stops and looks at me, then says, "I love you too, always and forever."

I initiate a system contract.

I see a blue contract floating in mid-air. I read it and immediately press the yes button. I begin to live the life of William Winds. I feel his emotions, I see his memories. I feel His love for me. and I eventually Wake up In the chair. I look at Him I grab his face and kiss him as passionately as the clumsy, Inexperienced me can, He's no better at kissing than I am, We'll work on that later.
