14 Vol 1 : Ch 14 - Do you love me? Do you like me?

Vin just nodded his head and then said to her.

"Yeah, I know that I'm a man and I will take responsibility for what I did but Rei please let me hear first what I'm going to say"

"Yes, go ahed Vin"

"Thanks Rei" a moment of silent then Vin start after getting ready himself.

"I don't know if I sound ridiculous Rei but this is my honest feelings. When we become classmate and became friend since you're just seating at the back of me. Then that time our Teacher give us an activity to how become close with your new classmates. All of us already know each other since we're classmates when we became first year and then some of our classmates were new to join in the class including you, so I start talking to you and then that day we became close. At first, I thought you're just only a friend of me, so I pretend that I have a crush but then when you suddenly hears from else that I have a crush, you're always teasing me and you're eager to know who is she, how come I would tell who is she when the person who ask me was the one I like or I have been crush with. So in order to stop asking me that one, I told you that I will tell you during on the Valentine's day. You don't know how I am excited that day because I will confess to you on that very day but then it became into nothing because I heard that you have a crush, who also a member of your organization. I'm just lucky enough that during Valentine's day, my friends , list our name for being in the love tent and can talk to talk each other, so instead of confessing I ask about you of what I heard about your crush and got satisfied with your answer since you're answered me that time, that you only admire him and you joined the organization not because of him but because your sister also want to join, so in order to be with your sister, you also joined. Day by day I forgot that I'm going to confess to you and until the time when we we're almost graduating you heard that my friend teasing me being together with you, so I told them you're only my friend because I want to say it in my own mouth not from them and I want it that you're the first who will heard it from me and not from my friends. You just smile when my friends teasing about us and never minding that teased. We only talk during our break time since we're not classmate during our Graduating Year from our High School. Our contact became lesser until our contact became blurred, we graduate but you never approach me or talk to me if I didn't. We're both enrolled in different schools during our tertiary but you never left me a message if I will not and I will call you once a month every year to know your update. I got a girlfriend and purposely I used as profile pic to provoke you and make you jealous but instead you congratulate me even asking me how long we've been dating. At first getting a girlfriend was for you to make a jealous but I realized it's for my own-self to stop my feelings towards you. Then you message me last month, how come I reply directly how we became a friend, it's like your stabbing me right away without knowing, so instead I purposely misunderstood what you ask and replying to you that we're just only a friend and nothing else. I got upset from your reply and I didn't mean it. Rei, for you to know, I like and I love you for seven years now. I know it's too late for me since I also got involve Xue this time, but Rei, I really really love you."

"W----wait you're confessing to me?"

"Yes Rei"

"Then what will happened to Xue?"

"We already discussed that already and we will just wait for the result after a month."

"Then if she's really pregnant and how about me what do you want me to do?"

"I take full responsibility of it but you're the one I want to spend my life with."

"Vin it easy to say that one but it's hard to do. You know we're talking about our future here. I mean what would be you're child opinion in the future? I got raised from a complete family with both parents were present without dealing anyone who want to destroy a family."

"I know what you mean Rei, I know you're not a selfish person and I know you're not concern about your reputations, I know you're nice and kind. I know that you fight for what you want and I know that you know what's wrong and right. But please answer me honestly."

"O.... okay, what is it?"

"Do you love me?"

"..."

Vin ask again "Rei, do you love me?"

"....." Rei was silence again.

"Let me rephrase it, how about this, Rei, do you like me?"

"....."

"Rei, please answer me. I will ask you again do you even like me at least?"

"....."

"See, I knew it." Vin cried.

Seeing Vin cried for the first time, Rei got flustered and said to him "Vin it's not like that."

"Then what is it Rei? Do you love me or do you even like me?"

"I don't know Vin, I don't know. Yes, I admit that I have a crush on you but I don't know if I like you or I love you."

It become awkward suddenly, the staff heard it everything and they don't know who they feel pity for, meanwhile Xue is crying quietly. It still awkward until Vin break the silence while still crying.

"I know it already Rei, you didn't fight for me because you don't feel anything for me. You're the only one who see me as your friend while for me I already falling in love with you. If you even like me, you will fight for it because I and Xue are not yet married. And if you love me, you will just accept my mistake and told me to take responsible about the baby but never letting me go. I understand it Rei, you didn't ever care me a little bit because you've never been calling me or messaging me and asking how I am. You're the one who see me as your friend."

"That's not it"

"Then what is it? Are you going to tell me that you're here because you care about me or why you even here?"

"Because talking personally is more effective than chatting"

"Yeah right" Vin covering his face by his hand but still crying.

"Vin, can you stop crying?"

"I don't know what I'm going to do now, Rei. Do you know that I control myself not to hug or kiss you?"

"That...."

"Even this time, you didn't even care about what you wear while me on the other hand got panic after knowing you agreed to meet me, I am so excited and wear my best suits."

"....." Rei don't know what she's going to reply to him because she's got out from work, looking around where might be Xue is and that happened she's staying at his house and especially this is the type of clothes she used to wear.

"Rei at least this one, please think it thoroughly."

"Okay, what is it?"

"Can you at least consider me? Don't worry if I know that Xue is really pregnant with my child, I will be the one cutting ties with you right away. And if not, please consider my feelings for you, okay?"

Rei nodded then replied "yes, I will considered it."

"Thanks Rei, I'm going now." Vin stand from his chair and turning his back to Rei then walk. After taking three steps, he heard Rei calling his name.
