Chapter 72 - The Finale.

A Few Days Later...

Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap.

"Baby, I'm nearly done I swear just give me one more minute"

"You said that ten minutes ago"

"I mean it this time"

"Mm-hmm"

I said whilst rolling my eyes.

The barbeque started over an hour ago and everyone is literally out in the pack gardens having fun and eating delicious food whilst I'm stuck in Coles office waiting for him to finish up with some stupid paperwork.

"There, I'm done"

Cole says putting his pen down.

"Finally, can we go now? I'm so hungry, I could eat eight horses maybe nine"

Cole chuckled as he made his way over to me.

I was too busy thinking about all of the delicious food I could be eating when I felt a pair of lips on mine.

"If you wanna wrap your lips around some meat babe then you can always..."

"Ah, ah"

I said placing my finger on his lips.

"I need actual food my love and so do your sons, maybe then I'll think about giving you a treat"

I kiss his lips and he smiles.

"Now let's go, daddys making steaks"

I grab his hand and attempted to leave but he stopped me.

"Wait there, baby"

"What now?"

I asked in frustration as Cole looked down at me sternly.

"Go and change"

Urgh!!, for f***s sake.

"Cole, do we seriously have to go through this every single day?"

"Yes we do unless you wanna sort your wardrobe out so you've got no more revealing clothes"

"My clothes aren't that revealing Cole, not that you can talk"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

I cross my arms over my chest as I look my husband up and down.

"Well, where should I start?"

I asked whilst circling him.

"Should I start with these tight ass jeans that perfectly show off your ass and your huge bulge?"

I asked whilst rubbing my hands over his ass and c**k which was getting harder.

I then stand in front of him and move my hands under his shirt and over his delicious abs.

"Or this tight white shirt which is showing off your huge biceps and your delicious chest"

I place a kiss on his chest before looking up at him and smirking.

"Do you even realise how much I have to calm myself down when I see a bunch of horny bitches lusting over what's mine?...it's amplified now that I'm pregnant just in case you were wondering"

Cole wraps his arms around me and places his forehead onto mine.

"Baby I'm all yours, I'm not even interested in other girls"

That's true.

Ever since I gave him a chance all those months ago, I've noticed that Cole has been ignoring all of the females in our pack unless they need to speak about pack business even when girls try to flirt with him or have dressed to impress him, he either ignores them or just walks straight past them without even acknowledging their existence.

I even tested him once when an alpha came here to do a deal with us, he brought his slutty spoilt brat of a daughter with him who I later found out wanted her dad to convince Cole to merge their packs through marriage, she wore the most revealing clothes and kept looking at Cole with what she thought was a seductive look but she looked more like she was constipated and trying to relieve herself, anyway, Cole wanted me to sit in on the meeting but I said I was busy which I wasn't, I was watching the meeting through my laptop and I saw little miss slutty constantly try to get Coles attention but he didn't even bother with her, he just spoke directly to her dad, to say she wasn't happy would be an understatement.

"Baby, are you there?"

"Huh...yer, I was erm...I was just thinking"

"About?"

He asked whilst stroking my hair.

"About how you're the only man for me and I don't dress to impress anybody but you"

"Really?"

"Mm-hmm, there's only one man I want looking at me in any kind of way and that's you"

"Good because I'm the only one who is allowed to look at you in any way, mi amor"

I smiled as I stand on my tippy toes and kiss him.

"Great and now that's been cleared up, let's go, otherwise I'll eat you and not in the way that you like"

Cole chuckled.

I grab hold of Cole's hand and leave his office before he can say anything more.

We headed downstairs via the elevator and when we got to the ground floor the sound of music booming was heard, it was like the mansion had been turned into a nightclub.

We walked out of the elevator and headed towards the pack gardens.

"So, tell me when did I agree for this party to be held at my house?"

"You didn't but you couldn't exactly say no to our mothers now, could you?"

"Hmm, I guess"

We went into the pack gardens where everyone was having fun, we then walked over to the barbeque area where my daddy was cooking up a storm.

"Hey guys, you finally made it"

"Yer, blame him"

"Hey"

I chuckled at my mate as I walked over to my dad and kissed his cheek.

"Would you like a steak, darling?"

"Is that a trick question, daddy?"

My father laughed as he plated up some food for me.

"There you go, darling"

"Thank you, daddy"

I pick the juicy steak up and start eating it without a knife and fork.

"So ladylike, mi amor"

"Hey, you try being pregnant and wanting to eat everything in sight, it's not fair Cole especially when you've worked as hard as I did to get a body like mine so excuse me if I'm not gonna waste my time on frivolous instruments such as cutlery when I've got three angry wolves in me dying to be fed"

"Does that include your own?"

I bit down on my steak whilst glaring at Cole with my eyes.

"If I could flip you off right now Cole, I would"

Cole chuckled as a groan was heard behind me.

"Do you two have to sex talk over the steaks? hmm, very ladylike Nat"

Christian said whilst wiping sauce from my lip.

"So, I've heard"

I said whilst wiping my face with a napkin.

"And we weren't having sex talk, idiota, do you really think I'd do that with my own father present?"

"I hope not"

My father groaned.

The sound of a microphone being banged against interrupts us.

"Hello, can everyone hear me?"

"What's momma doing?"

"I don't know"

"Good afternoon everyone, I would like to make an announcement but firstly, I'd like to invite my beautiful daughter Natalia and my handsome son in law Cole up on to the stage"

Oh my god, what's she doing?.

"What the hell?"

I said with a mouth full of steak.

"And there goes her manners"

Everyone chuckles at Cole as I glare at him.

"Hey dork, didn't your momma teach you any manners? you're not supposed to talk with your mouth full"

Christian repeats the same thing I said to him not too long back.

"Great, I'm surrounded by f*****g comedians"

"Come on, baby, we're being summoned"

Cole says taking the plate and remaining steak from my hand before wiping my mouth.

"But my steak..."

"Will be here along with more steaks and more food after we've gone to see your mother"

"Urgh!!, my mother has literally got the worst timing"

I growled.

Cole chuckles as he grabs hold of my hand and leads me over to the stage.

"Oh here they are"

Everyone clapped as we walked onto the stage.

"Ok so...a few days ago, these two incredible people helped rid the world of two evil creatures who were on the cusp of destroying not only your alpha and Luna's fabulous mateship, therefore, ruining my daughter's life but also the entire supernatural world as we know it"

My momma and I share a look and smile at each other, she then turns back to the crowd.

"And now the threat is over with and the smile is back on my daughters face, we can now all move on and be happy, in fact, your alpha and Luna have got some exciting news for you all"

Oh god this woman, I specifically told her I didn't want to tell the pack yet.

"Come on guys, don't be shy"

Urgh!!.

My momma hands the microphone over to Cole as she comes and stands on the other side of me, I absentmindedly placed my hand on my stomach feeling nervous but this had my mother thinking I was feeling sick.

"Are you ok, honey? are you feeling nauseous?"

"No momma, I'm fine"

"Are you sure?"

I look up at her and smile.

"Yer"

She smiles back at me whilst grabbing hold of my hand, we then both looked up at Cole who was looking nervous.

"Hey everyone, I erm...I honestly don't know how to say this seeing as I wasn't prepared to do it just yet"

Cole fakes a glare at my momma who winks at him and I chuckle at the pair of them.

"So, I'll just come out and say it, my beautiful wife and I are expecting our first babies, three sons and your future alphas"

The gardens erupt with cheers and claps as well as wolf whistles when my husband decided to embarrass me by kissing me in front of everyone, the bastard knows I'm not a huge fan of PDA, well, at least not of this magnitude, I don't mind in front of other people but not an entire pack.

A Few Hours Later...

"When I walk on by, girls be looking like damn he fly, I pimp to the beat, walking on the street in my new LaFreak, yeah, this is how I roll, animal print pants out control, It's Redfoo with the big F O, they like Bruce Lee rock at the club (yeah), girl look at that body, girl look at that body, girl look at that body, I-I-I work out"

"Oh god, who asked the DJ to play this crap?"

Both myself and Emily look at each other and I thought that we both had the same idea of who it was but I was wrong.

"Cole"

"Angelo"

We said at the same time before looking at each other and bursting out laughing.

"Actually no, it was Christian, he calls it the theme song to his life"

Destiny says as she sits down next to Amy.

"Why doesn't that shock me?"

"Because it's Christian, he literally thinks he's the sexiest man alive which he is"

"But he's not"

Myself, Emily and Amy all say at the same time before once again laughing.

I went back to eating my food only to be interrupted again by Amy.

"Hey Nattie, how do you feel about being related to me and James in the future?"

"Why?"

I ask whilst narrowing my eyes at Amy.

"Look over at the rose bushes"

I do as she says and my heart melted when I saw Max and Charlotte sitting with each other and my adorable nephew gave Charlotte a rose which she responded to with a kiss on the cheek.

"Aww, that's so adorable"

"He's blushing, they're so cute"

"Do you think they're mates?"

Destiny asked me whilst looking at my little loves with curiosity.

"I don't know, what age does a royal find their mates?"

"I haven't got a clue, I found out Cole was mine on my eighteenth birthday and Christian found Destiny at thirty-one"

"Yer but didn't you say you had strong feelings for Cole before your eighteenth birthday?"

I nod my head whilst chewing my food.

"Male royals find out early, I found out Rach was mine when we were thirteen"

Nathan spoke from behind me as I look up at him and smile.

"Hey Nate"

"Hey beautiful"

He leans down and kisses my cheek.

"So, is there a chance Max and Charlotte are mates?"

Amy asks as Nathan sits down next to me.

"It's certainly possible, they've both gotten pretty close to each other ever since they met and I don't know about Charlotte but Max has been very restless whenever he's away from her and is always asking us when he's gonna see or speak to her again, he's also cried himself to sleep almost every night since he met Charlotte because he wants to be with her"

Nathan said which broke my heart.

I felt so bad for my nephew and I knew things were gonna get worse for the both of them when my family go back home to Hawaii, that's if they are mates.

"Charlottes the same way, she's a mess whenever we're away from here and she's always asking for Max until we finally give in and call or come to visit"

"Aww, my poor babies"

I noticed my father was about to pass our table so I decided to get some answers for these kids.

"DADDY!!"

I beckoned him over and he came when he heard me shouting for him.

"What's up, princess?"

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to ask you a question"

"Ok shoot"

He says whilst taking a sip of his beer.

"I was just wondering if it's possible for Max to find his mate erm...now"

I honestly didn't know how to ask the question and I had at least three or four different ways to ask him so I ended up merging two together.

"It's highly possible but Max wouldn't be able to stake a claim on his mate until he's at least thirteen years old when puberty has fully kicked in, why?"

"Look"

I said pointing towards the rose bush where Max and Charlotte are now holding hands, my father looked over at them and smiled.

"I think my grandson has found the future queen of all supernaturals"

My father then looks at a shocked Amy.

"Look after that young girl for us Amy, she's going to be a very important member of our family when she's older"

"I promise"

Amy said absentmindedly whilst looking at the kids even though it's a given that she's gonna look after her own daughter.

My happiness spiked when the DJ finally played a good song and it just so happened to be one of my favourites, Never Too Much by Luther Vandross.

"Oh my god, I love this song"

"My baby likes Luther Vandross? at least one of my children have got taste"

"Hey, I'm right here"

Nate says and I chuckled at how offended he looks.

"I know son, that's why I said it"

Everyone chuckled except for Nathan who looked seriously miffed.

"But I've got taste"

"Ok Nathan"

"I have and it's clearly not shit like this"

"Oi"

I slapped Nathans arms causing him to groan, f*****g baby, I didn't even hit him that hard.

"Luther Vandross is amazing, Nate"

"Exactly Natalia, now if you all will excuse us, me and my daughter are gonna go and dance to this amazing music"

My dad said placing his beer bottle on the table and holding his hand out for me.

"Shall we?"

"Of course"

I smile as I take his hand, he then leads us over to the dancefloor were numerous other people are also dancing.

"You're glowing, Natalia"

"That's not glow, daddy, it's sweat from throwing up constantly"

"No, it's not, you're actually glowing because you're so happy...I don't think I've ever seen you this happy"

"That's because you haven't"

I said with a sigh as I looked up at my father who was smiling sadly at me.

"Don't look so glum, daddy"

"How can I not when my daughter is only experiencing true happiness at eighteen?...you should have been experiencing blissfulness from the moment you were born, Natalia"

"That wasn't possible daddy and you know it...the moon goddess writes all of our destinies and as painful and horrific as mine is...it made me who I am today"

"What? a tortured wreck?"

I looked at him shocked.

"I'm the king of all supernaturals Natalia...I can hear what you're thinking, I can feel what you're feeling"

Oh god.

I close my eyes and sigh hating how easy it is for some people to get into my head.

"They're dead Natalia and you're still allowing them to torture you"

"I don't know what you're talking about, daddy"

"Yes you do Natalia and I can't even begin to express how disappointed I am with you"

I gasped as tears filled my eyes.

It really hurt to hear my own father say he's disappointed in me.

"You're not f****d up Natalia, you're a beautiful, incredibly strong warrior who fought through the worst of the worst and at a time when you had every right to give up and give in, you didn't and you continued to fight eventually coming out of that horrific storm even stronger"

A sob escaped from my mouth as tears flowed down my face.

"Sshh!!, don't cry"

"You're disappointed in me"

I sobbed silently feeling very hurt.

"No, I'm not it's just...I'm disappointed with the fact that you're still allowing yourself to be tortured"

My father cups my face and looks deep into my eyes.

"Look at your life Natalia...just take a good look, you're married to the love of your life, you're about to be a mother, you've got your family and a great set of friends as well as a wonderful pack ready to support you, it's time for you to let it all go and be happy"

He says whilst gently wiping away my tears.

"I'm so proud of you Natalia, you're my beautiful, strong princess who I am so proud to say is my daughter, I love you so much, baby girl"

"I love you too, daddy"

He kisses my forehead before I rested my head on his chest.

I take a deep breath as I look over at the table where I was previously sitting and I saw my momma, Nathan and Christian watching my dad and me with huge smiles on their faces, my smile got brighter when I heard them tell me I love you through our link as my brothers winked at me.

"I love you guys too"

Cole's P.O.V.

"She's finally happy"

"Huh, what do you mean?"

I look at my brother confused.

Natalia's always been happy especially since we saved her from Mason.

"She's got nothing to worry about anymore, she's got you, her family, her friends, the pack and now the two people who have been torturing her ever since she was six years old are now finally dead...she's free"

"Is she? you heard what her father said...she's torturing herself"

I take a sip of my beer feeling angry with myself for not noticing that my own wife was secretly self-destructing and I didn't even notice.

"Not anymore she's not"

"What do you mean?"

Angelo looks at me all stoic.

"Do you know why mine and Natties bond is so strong?"

I shrugged my shoulders whilst shaking my head.

"It's because I was with her when she shifted into her wolf for the very first time and for some reason probably because she's a royal, it made it even stronger to where I can almost feel what she's feeling"

"And what's she feeling right now?"

Angelo smiled brightly as he looked at Natalia lovingly.

"She's the happiest woman in the world right now"

"Well, if she's the happiest woman in the world then I'm the luckiest man in the world"

I said as I watch my beautiful mate dance with her father.

When the song was over, Natalia and her father hugged before she briskly walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Hey baby, are you ok?"

"I'm amazing"

She said as she looks up at me with a bright smile and I couldn't help but mentally aww at her, she's so freaking adorable.

"I love you, mi amor"

"I love you too, baby"

Later That Night...

Natalia's P.O.V.

"Cole, where the hell are you taking me? do you realise I'm wearing a super thin dress and wedges that were not made for muddy woods"

I squealed when Cole picked me up bridal style and started carrying me towards where he's taking me.

It didn't take long and I was blown away when I saw that he had brought me to the waterfall which was lit up so beautifully, it's honestly a truly spectacular sight especially at night and it saddens me that it has taken me this long to finally see it.

Cole put me down and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I placed my hands on his arms as he nuzzled his face into my neck kissing it.

"Do you remember the last time we were here, baby?"

"How could I forget, Cole?....I almost died, remember"

"One of the worst days of my life"

He says whilst tightening his hold on me.

"Would you do it again?"

"Hmm...do what?"

"If the opportunity came again for you to put your own life before mine...would you do it?"

I turn around looking up at him as I wrap my arms around his neck.

"In a heartbeat...I did it for you when I was being blind to my own feelings for you and I'd happily do it for you now that I know how much I love you and how it feels to lose you even if it wasn't real"

Cole cups my face and wipes away my tears.

"Why are you crying, baby?"

"They're happy tears, I promise"

"Good"

Cole leans down and passionately kisses me for about a minute or two before pulling away and placing his forehead onto mine.

"Will you stay here with me for a little bit, baby? I just wanna spend some alone time with my wifey and I can't think of anywhere better or more beautiful than right here"

I look into his eyes and smile brightly at him.

"Of course I will"

"Great just hold on one second"

"Ok"

I said confused as Cole quickly pecked my lips before doing a disappearing act, whatever.

I stood watching the beautiful waterfall as I waited for Cole to come back, it was a truly peaceful moment well, that was until I heard a very familiar song which had me smiling from ear to ear as I turned around to face my dashing husband who was smiling right back at me.

"How do you know I love this song?"

"You're a Vampire Diaries geek, Nat"

He says in a duh tone but I wasn't buying it, so I gave him my don't bullshit me look and he quickly told me how he knew which didn't shock me at all.

"Emily told me"

"Of course she did"

I roll my eyes and he chuckled.

"Come on baby...come and lay down with me"

I look down and saw that Cole had set up a blanket and a couple of pillows as well as a few lit candles, how the hell did he do all of this so fast and without me noticing?.

"I'm fast at everything I do, baby"

He said with a smirk clearly reading my mind.

"Except with paperwork and spankings, with them, you're painfully slow"

He chuckled at me.

"Would you like a spanking right now? I can find a nice boulder to bend you over if you'd like?"

"No...there's gonna be no spankings, no sex, no dirty talk none of that tonight"

I say as I walk over to him.

"Tonight, we're just gonna lay under the stars and enjoy each others company, ok"

Coles smirk quickly turned into a smile as he grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it.

"Your wish is my command, mi amor"

He said giving me a kiss before we both lay down on the blanket.

Cole wrapped his arms around me as I rested my head on his chest, we talked about numerous different things including our pasts, our present and our futures which we both agreed will be filled with so much happiness, love and of course lust.

"Nattie"

"Hmm"

"Thank you for giving me a second chance, babe, I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't"

"You'd be lost without me, of course"

I chuckled as I looked up at him.

Cole stroked my hair whilst looking at me like I'm his whole world.

"I love you, Mrs Natalia Vasquez"

"I love you too, Mr Cole Vasquez"

I cupped his face as I smiled before leaning down and kissing him, my mate, my husband, my whole entire world.

If you'd have told me nine months ago that I'd be laying under the stars pregnant and married to my mate who rejected me so cruelly on my eighteenth birthday then I'd think you were crazy.

I was determined to never and I mean never forgive him and I was fully prepared to live a long lonely life with just me, myself and I but I changed my mind when I decided to give Cole a chance and it's something that many would question my sanity about and trust me, I did too but it's a decision that I would never ever take back because it's a decision that changed my life forever, it's a decision that made me so incredibly happy and it's a decision that I will never ever regret.

I'm Mrs Natalia Vasquez, a wife, a soon to be mother, a Luna but most importantly I'm a survivor, I'm living proof that you can go through a traumatic experience and come back a fighter, life's too short to hold onto grudges and hate, it's best to live in the moment and be happy.
