Chapter 53 - The Luna Ceremony.

Natalia's P.O.V.

"Why white?"

"Because"

"But why, Emily?"

"Because I said so, why what's wrong with it?"

"Nothing, there's nothing wrong with it, it's beautiful, it's just..."

"It's just, what?"

Emily says whilst stretching out the word just and looking at me like she's about to lose her patience with me.

I look at myself in the mirror and I've gotta say, the women have done a remarkable job with everything from my hair, to my dress and shoes, I look absolutely stunning, it's just that I'm getting more wedding vibes from my outfit than I am I'm about to become the Luna to the worlds strongest pack vibes.

"I'm just getting weddingy vibes Em, if that's even a word, I feel like I'm about to marry Cole not become his Luna"

Emily mutters something under her breath but I couldn't hear it, when I asked her what she said, she looked at me like she was dying to smile but was trying to restrain herself, little weirdo.

Actually they all, everyone has been acting so weird around me ever since yesterday, my momma keeps crying about how I'm all grown up and how happy she is for me, Nathan and Christian keep referring to Cole as their brother in law which he's not, I mean I guess in our world he technically is because we don't need a wedding to solidify our relationship but still it's weird and last night I walked in on my adopted dad, my daddy and Cole talking about me but as soon as they saw me they started to act all shifty and pretending to act like they were talking about sports which they clearly weren't, I think they forget I'm a werewolf too and I've got the same hearing as them.

"Just stop stressing about your outfit, Natalia, you look f*****g gorgeous"

"She's right you know, you look beautiful"

I smile when I hear a very familiar Australian accent and I immediately whip my head around to see my beautiful friend Amy standing in the doorway with a hand on her bump.

"Amy, oh my god, I've missed you"

I walk over to her briskly and hug her.

"I've missed you too, sweetie, how have you been?"

"Great, I've been great, how are you and this little one?"

"Don't you mean little ones?"

My eyes widened in shock.

"You're having twins"

She nodded her head whilst biting her lower lip.

"Oh my god twins, I bet James and Charlotte are excited"

"James yes, Charlotte no"

"What, why?"

Charlotte's always wanted siblings and was forever bugging James and Amy for some so it shocks me to hear that she's not happy her momma is having twins.

"Because I'm having two boys and she doesn't like that, she even asked me to make a request to the moon goddess to have the order changed"

Myself and Emily burst out laughing as Amy rolled her eyes and chuckled herself.

"Are we ready ladies? it's almost time"

My momma comes in looking as beautiful as ever with so much excitement on her face, she then looks at me and gasps, I roll my eyes at her because she's seen me at least four times since I put my dress on and each time she has this same reaction.

"Momma, please don't cry again, we haven't got time to fix your make-up"

"You're right"

She says whilst taking a deep breath and patting away at the corners of her eyes.

"Who is this beautiful lady?"

She asks when she looks over at Amy.

"Oh, momma this is my friend Amy she's the Luna of the White Storm pack, Amy this is my biological mother Queen Tia of the Royal pack and the supernatural world"

"It's nice to meet you, Queen Tia"

"Tia please and it's nice to meet you too honey, ooh and you're having a baby, aww, my eldest boy has just had his second baby, I can't wait for my Christian and Nattie to start giving me grandchildren as well"

"Momma, seriously"

I rolled my eyes, not this again.

"What?"

Amy and Emily chuckled as my face flushed bright red.

"Babies are a natural part of life Natalia, maybe you and Cole can get to work on one tonight after the ceremony"

"Momma, I swear to the moon goddess"

"Oh calm down my little one, I was just joking, well, only a little bit"

I chuckled slightly as I shook my head, my momma is truly one in a million.

Knock!!, knock!!, knock!!.

"Come in"

I smile when Angelo walks in looking as handsome as ever.

"Hello ladies, I've been sent by my impatient big brother to come and retrieve his Luna for him"

"Urgh!!, he's waited for just over eight months for this day, I'm pretty sure he can wait a few more minutes"

Emily said whilst rolling her eyes.

"You'd think so wouldn't you babe but no, Cole can't wait any longer, he wants his beautiful mate downstairs right now"

"This boy"

Emily mutters whilst grabbing hold of her bag.

"Well, let's not keep the poor boy waiting, let's go"

"Actually, can I have a minute alone with my sister, please?"

"Sure...just a minute"

My momma warns him and he smiles at her knowing she was playing with him.

My momma, Emily and Amy leave the room and Angelo sighs as he looks at me with a big smile on his face.

"You look absolutely stunning, Natalia"

"Thank you, Angelo"

He comes over to me and grabs hold of both my hands gently caressing the backs of them with his thumbs.

"Are you ok, Angelo?"

He nods his head before looking deep into my eyes.

"I'm fine, baby girl...I'm just so freaking proud of you, you've come such a long way in a short space of time and I honestly couldn't be any prouder than I am of the woman you've become"

"Thank you, Angelo, that means a lot"

"You're welcome little sister"

He lets go of my hands and gently cups my face before leaning in and kissing my forehead, he then looks down at me smiling.

"You're a beautiful, strong, amazing, smart young lady Natalia and I feel so blessed and honoured to have you as my baby sister"

He takes a deep breath and I can tell that he's trying to stop himself from crying.

"I want you to know that I love you so much my little sister and even though you're becoming a Luna today and you probably don't need me anymore...I want you to know that I'm always gonna be here for you and I'll keep my promise to protect you until the day I die"

"I love you too Angelo and no matter what, I'm always gonna need my amazing big brother"

I said with a shaky voice as I try so hard not to cry, Emily would have both of our asses if she finds out that Angelo made me cry even if it's in a good way.

Angelo smiles down at me before kissing my cheek and hugging me.

"We better get going before Cole comes up here himself and drags you down there"

"He wouldn't dare, he knows better"

I said with a chuckle as Angelo stared at me smiling.

"I'm glad you've given him a chance Nattie, you both deserve to be happy"

I smile at him.

"Thank you, I'm glad too...now let's go before you really have me crying up in here and that won't end well for either of us if Emily finds out"

"Yer, the last thing I need today is to be on my little mate's bad side"

"It's not a good place to be, brother"

We both chuckle as we leave my room and head downstairs.

"Wow"

I hear double as I'm led downstairs by Angelo.

When I got to the last few steps, I look up and smile brightly when I see both my daddy and my adopted dad looking dashing in their suits.

"Dad"

I whispered as I briskly walked over to him giving him a hug.

We were told that my adopted dad wouldn't be able to make my Luna ceremony today because he was too ill and doctors were really worried about him or at least that's what Cole told me, urgh!!, I'm gonna kill that gobshite if I find out he was lying to me.

"Hey, my little bebita" (Baby girl)

"Dad, what are you doing here? I thought the doctors wanted you to stay in the hospital"

"Do you really think I'd miss my daughters Luna ceremony?"

He cupped my cheek and smiled down at me.

"Dad"

I say with a lot of warning in my tone, I'd much rather he miss it then have something happen and he gets even sicker.

"I'm fine bebita, please don't worry"

He says whilst grabbing hold of my hands.

"But..."

"No buts Natalia, I'm fine, we wanted to surprise you that's why Cole told you I was still in the hospital"

"Urgh!!, that ass"

I said whilst angrily rolling my eyes and everyone laughed.

I looked back at my dad who looked the picture of health but I couldn't help but worry about him, the doctors said that he could suffer from seizures for the rest of his life as well as terrible headaches thanks to Mason and his merry band of dickless minions.

"Are you sure you're ok, dad?"

"I'm fine honey, I promise"

"Stop stressing Natalia, this is your day remember"

My daddy says as he hands me a bouquet of flowers, don't ask me why I've gotta carry a bouquet of flowers because I seriously don't know myself, when I asked my momma she said that each flower has been handpicked to signify what I need to be Luna, there's Gladiolus which symbolise a strength of character, Morning Glories which bring peace and happiness and Lucky Bamboo which is a symbol for good luck and it's said that the more stalks there are, the greater the blessing of good luck and fortune.

Perfect by Ed Sheeran starts to play which piqued not only my interest but also my curiosity.

"Why is this song being played? it's my Luna ceremony, not my wedding"

Both my adopted dad and daddy share a look which I couldn't decipher.

"Don't think too much little sister, ok"

Angelo kisses my cheek and wishes me good luck before going out into the garden area probably to take his seat.

"Come on my beautiful daughter, let's get you out there before Cole has an embolism"

I chuckled as both my dads linked my arms with theirs and lead me out to the gardens.

We started to walk down the aisle midway through the chorus and I gasped at how beautiful the gardens are.

Everywhere has been decorated so beautifully and if I wasn't afraid of my little best friend and her temper tantrums, I'd seriously cry at how amazing everything looks.

I narrowed my eyes to the archway were my handsome mate is standing in all black, f**k he looks so sexy and that smile...wow.

When we get to the archway, I kiss both my dads on the cheek before being handed over to Cole by my daddy, he placed my hand in Cole's hand and held them both before whispering something into his ear, I couldn't make out most of it but what I did catch made me smile when I heard my daddy give Cole a warning to never hurt me again and to always look after me otherwise he'd meet a royal punishment which is said to be worse than death, Cole didn't show any fear or panic to my dad which warmed my heart because it made me feel confident that he would never ever hurt me again.

After my daddy was done warning Cole, he gave him a gentle pat on the back and kissed my cheek before going to sit down next to my momma who looks like she's been sleeping with a coat hanger in her mouth all night.

Cole raised my hand up to his mouth and kissed it before entwining our hands together and turning to face the pack, he then greeted everyone and gave a beautiful speech to them detailing pretty much everything about us including the good, the bad and the very ugly, Cole also admitted how guilty he was for hurting me and how over the moon he is that I finally gave him a chance.

I couldn't take my eyes of Cole as he spoke, he looked so sexy and powerful, his eyes had an excited glint in them and his aura was glowing so brightly, I've never seen him like this, he looks so happy.

"Today we are gathered together to officially make my beautiful, stunning mate Natalia our Luna, I've waited so long to do this so I'm not gonna waste another single second"

Cole calls for his momma as he picks up a small box and takes out a stunning ring which has got a luna moon on it as well as a moonstone ring, Cole then gently grabs hold of my right hand whilst his momma takes hold of my left one.

"Do you Natalia Isabella Kala Harrison promise to run the Dark Shadows pack with love, honour and strength?"

"I do"

"Do you promise to be responsible for all pack members and for taking care of the Dark Shadows pack along with myself your alpha?"

"I do"

"Do you promise to be a friend and family to everybody and treat all pack members with respect?"

I was hesitant to answer this question because I wasn't sure if I could, I mean how can I respect a whole bunch of people who never gave me any respect?.

"Baby, are you ok?"

I look up at Cole who was looking at me worried, it was then that I knew that I could do this because the moment any pack members show me any disrespect from this day onwards is the day they'll lose mine forever.

"I do"

Cole smiled as I noticed relief flash on his face.

"As Luna, do you promise to protect the Dark Shadows pack with your life, help when help is needed and kill when the pack is in danger?"

"I do"

Cole smiles once again as he slides the ring onto my finger at the same time his momma said a chant to pass her Luna powers from her to me, I immediately felt the Luna power take over me and when it was complete, I opened my eyes and smiled brightly at Cole.

"Well done, baby"

Cole mind linked me as he cupped my face and kissed my forehead, he then once again entwined our hands and raised them in the air.

"Luna Natalia, ladies and gentlemen"

Everyone cheers and clapped for me as Cole hugged me nuzzling his face into my neck.

"I love you, baby"

"I love you too, babe"

We pull apart from each other and Cole kissed me earning numerous cheers and wolf whistles from the crowd which made me flush bright red, Coles momma gave us each a hug and told us how proud she is of us before leaving the stage and going to sit next to her mate.

I thought the ceremony was over and done with but I was dead wrong and all of my suspicions from the past few days were confirmed by my handsome mate as he delivered yet another beautiful speech this time with Perfect being played again in the background.

"There's one more thing I need to do before this ceremony is over"

Cole looked down at me with a serious look on his face but he was also smiling, he then got down on one knee earning many shocked gasps, squeals and oh my gods from the crowd as well as from myself, I covered my mouth with my right hand as Cole gently grabbed hold of my left hand.

What the f**k is he doing? oh my god, is this real.

"My beautiful Natalia, I've loved you ever since I can remember, I always thought my love for you was wrong but it's not, it's right, it's the most beautiful and perfect thing ever, I love you so much my beautiful mate and I can't express how happy I am that you've given me and us a chance"

He looks down for a few seconds and lets out a breath before looking back up into my eyes.

"You've made me the happiest and luckiest man alive by becoming my Luna today Natalia and I'd love it if you would make my life even more complete by agreeing to be my wife"

Cole pulls out another box from his pants which has got yet another gorgeous ring in it, he then grabs hold of my left hand again and slides the ring onto my wedding finger giving it a kiss before looking back up at me.

We shared a look for a few seconds before he asked me the all important question which had only one obvious answer.

"Natalia, will you marry me?"

I nod my head.

"Yes"

Cole jumped up like his ass was on fire and cupped my face, he then passionately kissed me and I kissed him back with the same intensity, I didn't care that we were surrounded by our family, friends and pack, all I cared about was kissing my man, my fiance.

Cole gave me one last kiss before pulling away with a huge smile on his face as he placed his forehead against mine, his eyes were locked onto mine and all I could see was how much he loved me, I also saw a lot of lust but I don't wanna go there yet, today is far from over and I won't be able to satisfy my man until later on.

Just when I thought there was no more surprises and we could now go and eat and have fun, Cole once again surprises me, only this time there was no obvious answers and I was left looking at him speechless.

"Will you marry me today, Nat?"

"What?"
