Chapter 52 - Let's Move On And Up - Part 2.

A Few Days Later...

Cole's P.O.V.

BANG!!.

"And there goes another punchbag"

Angelo says with a chuckle.

I let out a sigh as I run my hand over my face and through my hair, I don't need this f*****g shit.

"Angelo, go and check on her for me, please"

"Why? what makes you think she's gonna listen to me?"

"Because you're the only person she'll listen too lately"

"Ok fine"

He says with a sigh whilst placing the papers that were on his lap on the seat next to him.

Angelo leaves and as he opens up the door, I hear the very angry voice of my future parents in law reverberate throughout my mansion.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT, KOA? DID YOU f*****g HEAR IT? THAT'S THE TWENTIETH f*****g PUNCHBAG SHE'S DESTROYED IN FOUR DAYS!!"

"I KNOW BABY, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? SHE'S NOT LISTENING TO ANYBODY!!"

"I DON'T KNOW BUT DO f*****g SOMETHING, THIS ISN'T HEALTHY, KOA, THIS ISN'T f*****g HEALTHY!!"

f***s sake.

I place my arms on my desk and run my hands through my hair.

The past few days have been some of the worst days of my life thanks to that bastard Mason and thanks to him, my beautiful precious mate has gone and jumped off the deep end and has gone into self-destruction mode.

After we had wrapped up planning for the night for Natties Luna ceremony, my parents were on their way back to the packhouse when they were attacked by rogues, my momma wasn't seriously injured she just suffered a few broken bones which healed within a couple of hours along with some cuts and bruises but my dad who took the brunt of the attack was left unconscious for two days, he almost died twice because one of his wounds kept reopening causing massive internal bleeding, he had a pretty bad head injury and a broken ankle, he's still in the hospital now because the doctors are worried about his head injury which he's not healing from at all and he keeps having seizures but I'm hopeful that he'll fully recover soon.

We also received word from Natalia's grandmother back in Hawaii that there was an attack on the Royal pack which they were able to end before it began but her friend Don was shot and almost killed with a bullet that was laced with fake silver which gives us the same side effects as real silver but it doesn't kill us which is very confusing because if you're gonna shoot someone with the intent to kill, why would they use fake silver as opposed to real silver which is lethal for us especially when it's mixed with gun powder.

Anyway, this is just a couple of the problems we've had in the short few days that have passed, we've also had several rogue attacks which thankfully we were able to defeat and luckily didn't lose anybody but it's still caused a lot of distress for everyone in the pack, mainly within my family because during all of these attacks we've found out that someone has tried to kidnap Max who had been secured in a bunker with his little sister, a maid and some guards but each time the rogues were able to get in and we later found out by one of the bastards who we were able to capture that Aubrey had given the codes to Mason who had relayed that same information to his minions.

There was even one time when a rogue was a split second away from succeeding in kidnapping Max from his own bed but he failed thanks to Natalia who used her powers to stop him and save her nephew, sadly though this was the trigger point for my mate and ever since then she's been a one-woman wrecking machine, it doesn't matter if she's causing damage to property, to herself or to other people, if it's destroyable then she's destroying it.

She's been a big ball of anger, pain and sadness but instead of expressing it in a normal and healthy way like a regular person, she's been expressing it in a very unhealthy way and has been taking it out on everyone mainly me which I wouldn't mind if I could see a glimmer of my Nattie coming back to me but I don't, it's like I'm dealing with a robot.

Right now is when it's really hit me that I need to do something to save my mate from herself and it's all because of her mother, Natalia's momma in the short period of time that I've known her has never ever shown any anger or raised her voice, she's always been a very cool, calm and collected person even when Nattie was kidnapped she never showed any anger even though I knew that she was raging on the inside, she never showed it but the past few days, I've seen a completely different side to her which is all down to Natalias behaviour spiralling out of control.

I really want to help my mate and bring her back to her normal self but I don't know how, I'm completely at a loss as to how to help her.

"Well that was a big waste of time...wait, where's Angelo?"

Emily says as she rudely walks into my office without knocking.

"He's gone to see Natalia"

Emily closes her eyes and sighs as she mutters not again under her breath.

"Anyway, what was a big waste of time?"

I ask her hoping to distract her from worrying about my mate.

"What? oh erm...torturing Aubrey, the bitch is barely hanging on by a thread thanks to Natalia"

Emily sits down on the couch in a huff with a look on her face like she wants to hang my mate.

"Did you call the pack doctor to treat Aubrey?"

"Of course I did, as much as I wanted to let the bitch bleed to death, I couldn't because we need her"

I sigh knowing that she's right, I want her dead more than anybody but we can't kill her until we've either got all of the information that we need about Mason from her or until the bastard himself is dead.

Let me bring you up to speed about Aubrey, after Natalia had found out about her involvement in Maxs attempted kidnaps, she went absolutely ballistic and tortured her to the point that she almost killed her and she probably would've done had I not stopped her, Natalia's anger had completely consumed her on this day to the point that we had to have her sedated to calm her down, as for Aubrey when the pack doctor examined her, he told me that Natalia had whipped Aubrey so bad that her bones were almost visible.

It sickened me to know that my mate was capable of this type of torture but in a weird sort of way, it warmed my heart to know that my baby is capable of doing anything and everything to protect her own or to get revenge for us.

"What are we gonna do now, Cole? Nats Luna ceremony is tomorrow, it's not gonna look good if the new Luna is running around like an angry banshee"

"I know"

I said letting out a sigh.

"I don't know what to do Em, she's spiralling out of control and I've literally got no f*****g idea as to how I can help her"

I felt so useless, normally as an alpha I've got a million and one ways to solve a problem not just because I've been trained this way but also because of life experiences but when it comes to something like this, I can't think of even one way to help out my own mate.

"I may have an idea"

"Really? what is it?"

I asked her eagerly, if Emily has found a way to help Natalia then I wanna know about it NOW!!.

"Well, it's not a what, it's more of a who"

"Huh"

BANG!!.

"COOOOOOLE!!"

Oh f**k.

After about a minute, my crazy cousin storms into my office looking like a bull who has had a red rag waved in front of her face.

"Where's Natalia?"

Destiny growled and I hate to admit it but she scared the hell out of me, the way she was looking and acting.

"In the gym"

Destiny looked to the side and glared.

"Right, that's it"

She storms out of my office and I quickly follow after her to make sure things don't get too out of hand up there.

We get to the gym and Destiny looks at me with a weird look.

"Here I am, rock you like a hurricane, here I am, rock you like a hurricane, my body is burning, it starts to shout, desire is coming, it breaks out loud, lust is in cages 'til storm breaks loose just have to make it with someone I choose"

"I didn't know Nattie was a Scorpions fan"

"Neither did I, to be honest"

We walk into the gym where my mate was currently beating the f**k out of yet another boxing bag and Angelo was nowhere in sight, I'm guessing he couldn't get through to her either hopefully, Destiny can because right now, she's my last hope.

Destiny storms over to the docking station and turns the music off which pissed off my already angry little mate.

"WHAT THE f**k? urgh!!, what do you two want?"

"Don't you give us that attitude little miss sassy pants, we've come here to talk to you and hopefully, help you"

"Help me?...with what?"

She asks in a bored tone whilst taking off her boxing gloves and grabbing her bottled water.

"We wanna help you with whatever is going on in that brain off yours Natalia, you've got everyone in this pack worried for you and your mental health babe, you're acting so out of character and I understand why but you don't need to act this way especially when you've got so many people who are willing to help you...you need to talk to us, Nat"

"Destiny's right baby, the way you're acting isn't healthy, you need to talk to us"

"I'm fine, Cole"

I scoffed whilst rolling my eyes.

"Yer because not sleeping, not eating, being aggressive with everyone from me to the omegas, distancing yourself from your family and friends and training yourself sick is perfectly fine"

"He's right Nat, you're gonna make yourself sick by acting this way"

"I'm just preparing to take on Mason Dest, what would you rather I do, huh? stay weak and pathetic and allow my mate, my brothers, my dad, my...."

I saw tears start to fill up in her eyes and I knew that she was thinking about my dad.

"Nat"

She shakes her head and turns away from us.

I approached her and tried to touch her shoulder but she jerked away from me which hurt both myself and Ace.

"Babe..."

"Please Cole....please just stay away from me"

She sobbed sounding so broken.

"Natalia honey, what's going on?"

She didn't answer Destiny but I knew she was crying even though she was trying her hardest to hide it, her body was shaking and every now and then a sob will escape her mouth, it was breaking my heart seeing her like this and I wanted nothing more than to hold her close to me and whisper sweet nothings to her until she calms down but I can't because she won't let me near her.

"Nattie..."

"Stay away from me Destiny, please"

She whispers the last bit as another sob leaves her mouth.

"Why?"

"I..I...I don't want a..anyone else wh..who I love to g..get hurt because of m..me"

Oh my poor baby.

I ignore her attempts to push us away and I go over to her wrapping my arms around her in a tight grip so that she can't escape from me which she tried really hard to do but gave up in the end and after a few minutes, I felt her arms wrap around my waist.

My heart broke even further when Natalia mind linked me and in a sad tone said that she's scared to lose me, I kissed her head and assured her that she's never going to lose me that she's stuck with me for life but that didn't do much to help ease her worries.

"Baby"

"Hmm"

"Can you look at me?"

She pulls away and looks up at me, it pained me to see how hurt and sad she is, I wanted nothing more than to erase it all from her heart and body but I knew that I couldn't at least not yet.

"Talk to me babe...please"

I pleaded with her.

She let out a shaky breath as I wipe away her tears.

"It's all my fault Cole, everything is my fault and I feel so guilty...th..that's why I've been acting the way I have because I don't want any more attacks or deaths on my conscience"

"Hey, what are you talking about? none of this is your fault?"

"It is Cole, the dead wolf, dad, grams friend, Max nearly being taken umpteen times, it's all my fault because Mason wants me and he's not gonna stop until he gets me"

"And this is why you're doing all of this? running yourself into the ground, distancing yourself from all of us, risking your health because that bastard wants something he can never have?"

She didn't answer me but I didn't really need one, I've known all along that Natalias recent behaviour is because of her fears and also Mason, I just needed her to admit it.

"I need to be strong Cole...I can't lose any of my family or friends and I definitely can't lose you...I'd die without you"

"And you're never gonna lose me, babe, trust me on that, we're stuck together for the rest of our lives and our afterlives...you're stuck with me whether you like it or not"

"Poor Nattie"

Destiny said and I glared at her which she just smiled at, I then looked back at my beauty and smiled at her as I gently caressed her tear-stained face.

"As for you being strong Natalia, you can train and train and train, you can build up your strength but it wouldn't make a difference because you my beautiful mate are one of the strongest women that I know and if anybody can defeat Mason babe, it's you"

She looked deep into my eyes as I continued to talk about how strong of a woman she is and I wasn't bullshitting her, she truly is one hell of a strong woman in every aspect of the word.

"But right now babe, right now you're not in the right headspace to do anything because you're keeping everything all bottled up, you're hiding from everyone who loves and care for you which I know is because you want to protect us but if I'm being honest with you Nat, if Mason wants to hurt us then he will whether you're around us or not because that's just the type of man he is"

Natalia looks down and sighs.

"You're also very vulnerable to Mason right now mi amor because you've been neglecting yourself, yes you've been working up one hell of a storm in training but that doesn't mean anything when you're neglecting your health, you barely sleep or eat anymore and if Mason knew how vulnerable you are right now then it would be perfect timing for him to attack us and take you away from me, he could even take Max as well"

She snapped her head up and looked at me with shock, panic and fear on her face.

"I understand you're scared my love but you can't allow that fear to overpower you especially when it comes to Mason, you need to have a lot more trust in me, your parents, your brothers, Dean, Destiny, the pack and everybody else who are here and willing to help you bring this bastard down but most importantly babe, you need to have a lot more trust and confidence within yourself, do you understand me?"

She nods her head.

"Words, babe"

"Yes"

"Good girl"

She smiled at me and even though it didn't reach her ears and she still had some worry and fear in her eyes, I knew that my Nattie was back and I couldn't be happier.

"Besides babe, you know how skilled I am with weapons, all I have to do is flick my wrist the right way and piiiing...Masons got a Chinese throwing star imbedded into his d**k"

"Jesus, remind me never to get on your bad side, babe"

We all looked over at the door where we saw Natalias parents and her brothers standing looking at us whilst Christian was looking at Destiny with a pale face and a little bit of fear.

"Oh don't worry babe, the only weapon I plan to use on your d**k is my..."

"DESTINY!!"

"DEST!!"

Myself, Angelo and Natalia shouted in disgust.

"What, what did I do?"

Natalia laughed which was the sweetest sound I've heard in days, I look down at my beautiful mate who was now snuggled into my side and had a slight smile on her face.

"Darling, are you ok?"

King Koa asked as he nervously made his way over to us.

"I'm fine daddy, I'm sorry for being such a bitch these past few days"

She said with a slight quiver in her voice.

"And where's the apology for the past eighteen years?"

We both glared at Destiny who just chuckled at us.

I looked down at my mate who was still glaring at our cousin and I couldn't help but find myself getting turned on by her, f**k she looks so hot right now.

"First of all my dear daughter, you don't have to apologise for anything ok, you were scared and panicked that's normal but now it's time to put on your big girl Royal panties and become the big, strong woman that I know and adore so that you can defeat your enemy and live a happy life, ok"

"Yes daddy"

"That's my girl"

He said whilst gently caressing the side of her head.

"And secondly darling, we all heard what you guys were talking about and I know that you're blaming yourself for everything that's been happening"

Natalia was about to say something but was stopped by Koa.

"None of this is your fault Natalia, everything that has happened is solely Mason's fault and nobody elses so you better get that out of your head right this second and never allow it to enter it again, do you understand me?"

"Yes daddy"

King Koa smiles down at my mate as he opens his arms up for a hug, Natalia didn't waste any time in taking comfort in her fathers embrace and I smiled whilst sighing in relief as I watch my mate be embraced by everyone who were also very relieved to see Natalia back to her normal self.

I really hope nothing like this ever happens again, the past few days have been some of the worst most stressful and aggravating days of my entire life and I never ever want to experience something like this with Natalia ever again.
