Chapter 48 - There's No Victoria Secrets Between Mates.

A Few Days Later...

"Stop it, Natalia"

"What? I'm not doing anything"

I said with a huge smirk on my face.

"You know damn well what you're doing you sexy little minx now stop it, I'm trying to concentrate here and I can't do that with you sending me mental images of yourself in the bath which are giving me a raging f*****g hard on"

I chuckled as I messed with the bubbles in my bath.

"I'm sorry babe, I'll stop, enjoy you're meeting"

"Not as much as I've enjoyed your little show, my love, I'll see you later"

"Bye baby"

"Bye babe"

We cut our link and I get out of the bath, I then get ready for the day ahead before heading downstairs to my kitchen, I'm in the mood to do a bit of baking.

The past few days have been very happy and stress-free for me, well, apart from the day that myself and Cole accepted each other, urgh!!, just thinking about that day stresses me out and causes a blush to appear on my cheeks.

After I left my room to go and see Emily, we talked and I found out that the reason why she was so angry with me is because of my disappearing act at school, the poor thing thought I was taken by Mason again but her mood was lifted when I told her that I was in fact taken by another possessive and obsessive beast and she was as excited as a pig in shit when I told her what happened between us, she wasn't too happy however when she found out that Angelo had interrupted us and swore that she'd deal with him for ruining our moment.

After our little chat, Emily left my home and I used this as an opportunity to talk with my momma, I've been wanting to talk to her for days now but either she's too busy or I am so I haven't had a chance to see her, anyway, when I found her, she was in my kitchen cooking up a storm as usual.

I was happy that I was finally able to get my momma alone so that I could talk with her, as both my parents and the moon goddess have pointed out to me, time is running out for myself and Cole to fully mate before the full moon is up and I'm not ready, I've still got a whole bunch of questions that I needed answering and the only person who could answer them for me or at least help me is my momma.

I asked my momma all of the questions that have been bothering me lately, the first one being my intense feelings for Cole, it's no secret that mates falling in love with each other is ten times as strong as humans falling in love but these feelings I've been having lately are different, like when he was punishing himself by having Brody and Angelo whip him, the pain I felt that day was excruciating especially when I was closer to him, it felt like I was being whipped myself, I could actually feel the whip touching my skin even though I wasn't the one being whipped.

My momma knew instantly what was going on and asked me if I've ever opened my empath power on Cole, when I told her yes, she explained to me that I must've opened up a portal between us when I did it where I can feel all of his pain whether it's mental, physical or emotional even more intensely than regular mates do, I was relieved when she told me this because I was so confused whenever I felt these feelings and I thought there was something wrong with me.

I also asked my momma about other feelings I've had with Cole not so much my love for him or how much I care for him, it was more the feelings I've been having just from a look, a touch or a kiss, I always feel so turned on and hot whenever we're near each other and sometimes a simple kiss will turn into a full-blown heated make-out session where we almost always end up naked and mating, I also explained how his scent has become even more intoxicating to me and his touch never fails to have me moaning like a bitch in heat but oddly enough it also cools down the burning heat deep within me.

My momma explained to me that the only explanation she has for me is that I'm coming into my heat which I didn't think was possible because I thought that you had to be marked to go into your heat but she said that it's different for us Royals and we can go into our heat as soon as our wolves have acknowledged and made a connection with our mate's wolf, it doesn't matter if we've marked each other or not, this explained quite a lot and I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders even though I was still nervous about marking and mating with Cole, I felt a lot better about it.

Anyway, after I talked with my momma, I had dinner with my family before going to bed and sleeping on my own, I did try to wait up for Cole but obviously, I was too tired and I ended up falling asleep, the next morning I woke up with him sleeping next to me and when he woke up, he apologised for not coming to bed earlier, it's just the meeting with our fathers and my brothers ran over till really early in the morning, it didn't bother me too much because I knew what the meeting was about but still like anyone, I would've liked to have fallen asleep in his arms.

Cole and I spent the entire day together after he had suggested that we have some alone time with no family, no friends, no pack and no drama which I was really excited about and we had an amazing day together, Cole took me to the beach house that his parents own were we spent the majority of the day just relaxing on the beach and messing around in the beautiful warm water.

We then went on a date and all throughout our meal, Cole kept smiling brightly like a Cheshire cat who has got the most expensive cream and when I asked him why he was smiling like that he said 'because of you' he's so cheesy but I love it, after dinner, Cole drove us to a cliff where we spent the rest of the night laying in each other's arms underneath the stars and talking about our future, it was just perfect.

All good things must come to an end unfortunately and we had to go back home, I had a question nagging in my head which had been niggling at me all day and when I asked him the question which was why he never brought up us marking or mating all day? he told me that he wanted our first time together to be special and memorable for us and he didn't want it to be something that we just did like it's a chore or something we had to do, it warmed my heart to hear him say this and that night we slept together in our bed feeling blissfully happy.

Ever since then I've been walking around like I'm on cloud nine and it feels so damn good to feel this happy and not have the weight of the world on my shoulders anymore even though there's still an unwanted weight still lingering there but he'll be gone soon.

"Mmm, smells good in here Nat, what are you making?"

I hear Emily's voice as she enters the kitchen.

"Your favourite"

When I didn't get a response, I turned to face her and saw that she was scratching her head whilst looking confused, urgh!!, stupid Nattie, I forgot Emily is just like me, we haven't got a favourite food because we love all types of food.

"I'll give you a hint, you love this with ice cream"

"You've got Angelo on that stove"

What the f**k?.

"Eww!!, Emily no, it's apple pie you filthy mare"

Emily chuckled but I didn't find anything about what she said funny, she does realise I'm Angelos sister and I don't wanna know about their dirty sexcapades, right?.

"Oooh really? that's my second favourite thing that I like with ice cream"

"Emily stop"

"You wouldn't believe what Angelo can do with a tub of Ben and Jerrys and his tongue..."

"Emily, for f***s sake"

I facepalmed myself.

Why the hell am I friends with this girl?.

"Ok, ok, I'll stop keep your granny panties on"

She said whilst chuckling.

"What are you doing here anyway?"

As much as I love Emily as well as my family and friends, this place just never seems to be empty or quiet, it's always overcrowded.

"I'm bored and there's nothing to do, Angelos in that stupid meeting so I thought I'd come and visit my beautiful best friend but I didn't realise I'd find Betty Crocker here instead"

"Oh so I'm your back up plan because Angelos busy"

I said whilst faking hurt.

"Don't be like that...besides, at least I thought of you, you immediately went to baking when Cole went to the meeting, you didn't even think of me"

She said whilst fake sobbing.

"Hold on just let me grab my violin"

I said whilst rolling my eyes, she's so bluddy dramatic.

"Anyway"

She drags out whilst rolling her eyes.

"Do you know what tomorrow is?"

She asks me whilst bouncing up and down on her chair with so much excitement.

"Of course I do Em, it's Halloween"

How could I freaking forget?.

Apart from the obvious thing that's gotta happen tomorrow which is constantly occupying my mind and is never letting me forget what tomorrow is, neither have the pack, everyone is running around with excitement and the packhouse has been decorated to the nines looking like something out of a horror movie.

The outside of the house which is usually white is now a mixture of orange, green and purple thanks to some special lights that Coles had installed which also projects Halloween images like pumpkins, skulls, spiders and witches onto it, there's a makeshift graveyard in the front garden, on the roof there's a giant witch flying on a broomstick, there are pumpkins scattered everywhere and the list goes on, it looks amazing, I'm not gonna lie but it's just a constant reminder that I have to mate with Cole which is something I'm really nervous about.

"Exactly, let's go shopping"

"No Em, I'm not in the mood"

"Oh come on, we need to go and get our costumes and find something sexy for you to wear at the after-party for Cole"

I turn and glare at her which didn't affect her because she smirked bigger and brighter at me.

"I don't wanna shop, Emily, ok"

"Hmm, I thought you'd say something like that sooooo...I called in some reinforcements"

Huh.

A loud bang and a familiar voice had me smiling but also had me wanting to scowl as well, this f*****g bitch just pulled out the ace in the freaking hole.

"DON'T YOU FEAR EMILY MY DEAR, THE QUEEN IS FINALLY HERE!!"

Oh my god.

"Destiny"

I ran over to her as soon as she entered my kitchen and I gave her a big hug, f**k I've missed this bitch.

"It's so good to see you Destiny, I've missed you so much"

"I've missed you too little cousin, how have you been?"

"Good yer"

"That sounds convincing"

She says with a giggle.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, Emily told me that you guys needed to do some shopping and she knew she'd need help convincing you so I came to help"

Urgh!!.

"I'm really not in the mood, Dest"

"Yer, yer, yer whatever now go and get your juicy booty ready, get Coles black card and let's go"

"But..."

"No buts young lady...go"

She turned me around and gently nudged me towards the stairs whilst smacking my ass.

"Ouch!!, what is with everyone constantly smacking my ass?"

"Have you seen your ass, Nattie? that thing was designed to be smacked"

She said in a duh tone like it's common knowledge.

"Whatever"

I head upstairs leaving the two bitches chuckling.

I went to my room to put on some shoes and to get my things, I then went to Coles office to let him know that I'm going out but before I could tell him, I was distracted when I saw Dean sitting next to Angelo, I was so excited to see him and gave him a big hug, I love my cousins to death and have missed them so much.

After greeting Dean, I told Cole where I was going and he said that I wasn't going anywhere unless I go with a whole bunch of guards and I change my clothes, I told him adamantly that I wasn't changing my outfit because I look too cute and I didn't need guards because I was going with Destiny which I thought he'd agree with because everyone knows and has witnessed what Destiny is like when she's angry, she's like a pitbull and a rottweiler mixed together but he said that I either go with guards or not at all and I was pissed when all of the guys agreed with him so I had no choice but to agree with him as well, sadly Destiny and Emily were pissed and talked endlessly about the vicious things they wanted to do with my mate for having us followed around.

We eventually left for the mall and I had to block out my cousin and best friend who were busy planning mine and Coles mating, whatever happened to just going with the flow and letting things happen, these two are talking about everything from scented candles to massage oils and even sex toys, urgh!!.

When we arrived at the mall, Destiny instantly made a beeline for Victoria Secrets and we were in there for a good few hours picking out numerous different lingerie sets because a girl needs options according to Destiny, they also filled the basket with all kinds of stuff such as fragrances and body products, you name it we bought it, personally, I think Destiny was taking advantage because I've got Coles black card, she always does this when she knows Coles paying.

After going to Victoria Secrets, we went to a costume store and had a lot of fun trying on all different costumes and we didn't leave until we were all happy and satisfied with our outfits, Destiny is going as the devil which I remarked by saying that it's a fancy dress party, not a come as what you already are party which earned me a glare from her and Emily is going as a french maid because apparently, it's one of Angelos fantasy, eww, as for myself, well you'll have to wait and see.

We shopped for hours on end buying everything that the girls would set their sights on and Destiny continued to use Coles card to buy things for herself even Emily used it as well as my Luna position to get some free things because in her words 'the beta female benefits are nothing compared to the Luna benefits'.

A Few Hours Later....

After many, many, many hours of shopping, we finally arrive home and I hoped to the moon goddess that my mate isn't as angry as I think he's gonna be because he wanted me home hours ago but whenever I wanted to leave, Destiny wanted to go to one more shop which resulted in us going to twenty plus more shops.

"And why is it that I can't refer to myself as queen anymore?"

Destiny asks us as we step out of the car.

"Because the real queen is inside the house, dummy"

"What? why would she be here?"

Oh f**k I'm dead, I'm so f*****g dead, I am deader than a big boobed blonde whore in a scary movie, urgh, why do I have to have such a shitty memory? I totally forgot to tell Destiny about my real family.

"She's Natties momma"

Emily said in a duh tone.

I mentally countdown from five waiting for my crazy cousin to kick off and she didn't disappoint.

"WHAT?...NATALIA, YOU'RE A ROYAL? WHY THE f**k DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT THIS?"

"Well, erm...I..."

I shift from one foot to the other as I try to think of a good excuse for why I never told my dear cousin about my biological family but nothing comes to mind, zero, zilch, nothing, stupid useless organ.

"Erm, erm, erm...WHAT?"

I flinched from her tone, she's really mad.

"Well, I..."

BANG!!.

What the f**k?.

I turned around expecting to see my angry mate but instead, I saw my brother who is huffing and puffing, what the hell is wrong with him?.

"Christian, are you ok?"

He ignored me as he stood there continuing to huff and puff whilst staring at Destiny who was also looking at him with so many different emotions on her face but the main one is shock.

"Dest, are you ok?"

"MATE!!"

I heard them both shout at the same time.

My mouth gaped open in shock as my hands immediately shot up to cover my mouth, I can't believe this, my brother's mate is my cousin, my cousin's mate is my brother, Jesus Christ, can my family get any more bizarre?.

I looked between the pair and noticed that neither one of them had moved and they were just standing there looking at each other from a distance, Christian did make an attempt to get closer to Destiny but for some reason, she backed up away from him causing him to halt his steps and look at her with hurt in her eyes.

"Destiny"

I called my cousins name with some anger in my tone, I was annoyed at her for hurting my brother but I controlled a lot of my anger because she's my family too and I know that she must have a reason for acting how she is.

"Dest"

I placed my hand on her shoulder which brought her out of whatever trance she was in and she looked at me still in shock but this time she actually looked happy.

"My mates a prince"

She whispered, she then looked back at Christian and smiled brightly.

"MY MATES A MOTHERFUCKING PRINCE!!"

She shouted causing everyone to laugh and Christian to sigh in relief.

The pair then embraced each other as they heatedly started to make out which made a lot of us groan in disgust.

"Get a room Christian"

Christian pulls away from Destiny and smirks at our brother.

"You know what Nate, that's not a bad idea"

Christian grabs hold of Destiny's hand and they run inside with Dean hot on their tails trying to stop them, big brothers, what are they like?.

"Hey baby"

"Hey"

Cole leaned in and kissed me as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Did you have fun shopping, babe?"

"You've never been shopping with Destiny before, have you?"

I asked whilst looking at him confused.

"Obviously not, there's only one woman I'm gonna shop with and that's you"

He said whilst nuzzling his face into my neck.

"Especially if it's in Victoria Secrets"

He started to kiss my neck which distracted me from what he said, when I clicked on, I pulled away and narrowed my eyes at him.

"What makes you think I shop in Victoria Secrets?"

Cole smirked.

"Well because only the best belongs on my woman's body, besides, I know you own tons of Victoria Secrets lingerie"

He once again nuzzles his face into my neck and starts to kiss me again on my soft spot which has me moaning and throwing my head back from the pleasure.

"And also because I saw my bank statement"

I snapped out of my pleasure-filled state and looked at Cole as I gently pushed him away from me.

"Cole"

"What?"

He chuckled.

"Did you really think you can charge all of that stuff to my card and I wouldn't notice?"

"Of course not but in my defence...it was all Destiny and Emily"

"Really?...hmm, that's a shame"

He said whilst looking away and trying not to smirk.

"Why?"

He looks at me as steps closer to me closing the space between us until there was none at all.

"Because I'd love nothing more than to see you model some crotchless panties for me, Nat"

He whispered against my lips causing my breath to hitch.

I then smirked thinking of the set that Destiny had personally picked out for me to wear tomorrow that she said would have Cole on his knees faster than a hooker when she sees a twenty.

Cole brushes his lips against mine as my smirk brightens, he didn't notice my smirk because he was too lost in his own lust-filled heaven.

"I guess you'll just have to wait and see what I'm gonna wear for you, aren't you babe?"

I gently peck his lips before walking away and heading towards the house.

I chuckled when I heard Cole shouting my name and quickly ran inside.

"NATALIA!!...NATALIA, GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!"
