Chapter 47 - You're My Destiny.

"NATALIA!!, HURRY YOUR ASS UP, WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!!"

"OK!!"

I don't understand why she's in such a rush, we're only going to school.

"WE'RE WAITING IN MY CAR, NAT, HURRY UP!!"

URGH!!.

"OK!!"

I grab my bag and phone before leaving my room and heading outside.

I woke up this morning feeling blissfully happy because myself and Cole are back together again but my mood quickly turned sour when I woke up to an empty bed and I was unable to contact Cole because he had blocked our mate and mind link, my mood was then made worse when Emily came bursting through my house like a bat out of hell because she wants to get to school as soon as possible for some bizarre reason.

Anyway, I left my house and made my way over to Emily's car.

I stopped walking when I saw one of Coles warriors and I waved him down hoping to find out where my mate did a disappearing act too this morning.

"MIKE!!, HEY MIKE, CAN I HAVE A WORD, PLEASE?"

"Sure Luna, what's up?"

I run over to him, well, as best as I could in the killer heels that I'm wearing.

"Good morning Mike, I was wondering if you've seen alpha Cole on your rounds by any chance?"

"Oh yes, he's at the packhouse visiting Aubrey Taylor"

What?.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Luna, he said it was his main priority to see her today"

"Oh...ok Mike, thank you"

I said with a sad smile but he didn't notice or maybe he did, I don't know.

"You're welcome, Luna"

Mike walks away leaving me stunned and confused, why the hell did he leave me to go and see her?.

"COME ON NAT, LET'S GO!!"

Dimitri shouted bringing me out of my thoughts, I went over to Emily's car and got in the front seat, she then drove off and I had to try really hard not to overthink about what Mike had just told me.

"Don't you even dare overthink or act before you think Natalia because Cole has got his reasons for meeting with her, I'm sure of it"

Whatever you say Lucky, whatever you say.

Cole's P.O.V.

"P..pl..please C..Cole, I..I c..can't t..take t..this a..anymore"

"Aww but we're just getting started, I haven't even let my parents, Angelo, Emily or my beautiful Luna have a go at torturing you yet"

"Pfft, Luna...N..Natalia accepted your re..rejection idiot which m..means your b..bond is officially b..broken...AAHHHHH!!"

I slashed her with a silver whip across her naked back before walking around in front of her and using the same whip to lift her head up by her chin.

She whimpered in pain but I didn't care because I'm only just getting started here so she needs to either learn to cope with the pain or get over it because when my feisty little mate gets her hands on her, she's not gonna hold back, Aubrey caused my Nattie to suffer from years of abuse and distress and what she's gonna do to her is gonna be a lot worse than what I'm doing, trust me on that.

"Look at me, scum"

Aubrey whimpered as she opened her badly bruised and swollen eyes to look at me, I smirked seeing the hurt and fear in her eyes.

"Mine and Natties bond is as strong as ever, we're gonna mark each other, we're gonna mate, I'm gonna make her my Luna, we're gonna get married and she's going to bless me with my pups"

Aubrey shook her head in disbelief.

"That's impossible, she accepted the rejection, I..I..I was there"

"Yer you were and so was Mason"

Her eyes widened in shock, well as best as they could when they're all swollen, she probably wasn't expecting me to know all about her secret little plans with that bastard.

"What's wrong, Aubrey? did you think we wouldn't find out about you guys plotting to harm my mate?"

"No...no, it wasn't like that we just wanted to break your bond so that I could have you and Mason could have Natalia"

Aubrey then gasped and started to panic as she muttered stuff under her breath.

"Why am I answering his alpha commands? why did I just tell him that?"

"What the f**k are you talking about bitch?"

I asked her confused but she didn't listen to me and continued to mutter under her breath.

"Mason put a spell on me so that I'm immune to all alpha commands, why am I answering Coles alpha commands? is it wearing off? oh god, he's gonna kill me...AAHHH!!"

I grabbed her hair and pulled her head back getting fed up with her rambling.

"Tell me what spell Mason put on you, right NOW!!"

Aubrey tried to fight my alpha command but failed and started to tell us everything about hers and Masons plans and how he put a spell on her so that she could be immune to not just my alpha command but my fathers and brothers as well as any other alpha who she meets so she could keep up with her lies and is capable of carrying out all of her evil plans to harm my mate.

When I asked her to explain the spell so that I could hopefully get some help from Natalia and or her momma to remove the spell from her, she told me something that had me confused at first but it quickly had me smirking.

"M..Mason s..said that the spell will only remain s..strong, a..as long as I'm c..connected t..to h..him"

"What like the link between mates or pack members?"

"Y..yes"

I look at Aubrey or more like her condition intently and I smirked when I realised why Masons spell has broken and why she's able to answer my alpha commands.

"Do you wanna know why you're no longer affected by his spell, Aubrey?"

She looked at me shocked because I haven't called her by her actual name in a long time, she eventually got over her it and eagerly nodded her head, I shook the chains that are tied around her body and she screamed in pain.

"Because you've been tied up with silver and pumped up with wolfsbane, that's why"

Aubrey didn't understand at first but when she eventually realised that the spell wasn't immune to the silver and wolfsbane, she had a look of shock and even anger on her face which made me laugh.

"Clean her up and take her back to her cell, make sure you call the pack doctor to check her over, I don't want her dying before your Luna gets to see her, do you understand me?"

"Yes alpha"

I walked out of the dungeons smirking and completely ignoring Aubrey who was begging and pleading with me to let her go, little did she know that I had absolutely no intentions of ever letting her go, at least not alive anyway.

I head upstairs and tried to contact Natalia through both our mate and mind links but to my shock and surprise, I found out that she's blocked me, I don't know if she's done this willingly or by accident but it didn't sit well with me and I wanted to know why and what could've possibly happened since we fell asleep last night in each other's arms to now.

It was only when I bumped into one of my warriors Mike who told me that Natalia was looking for me that I found out what may have caused her to block me and I was beyond pissed and I wanted to pound his head in for telling her that I was with Aubrey but I knew that he wasn't aware of Natalia not knowing where Aubrey currently is so I let him go and ran out of the packhouse to my truck intending to find my mate and set things right.

Natalia's P.O.V.

"Are you ok, Nat?"

"I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?"

"You've just been really quiet all morning and that's not like you"

Cheeky bitch, what's she trying to say?.

"I'm fine, I've just got a lot on my mind, that's all"

And that's an understatement.

All morning I've been stressing out over what Mike told me, I didn't wanna let it get to me and Lucky kept telling me that Cole has got a really good excuse for going to see Aubrey and that I need to trust him more, don't get me wrong, I do trust Cole, I trust him wholeheartedly that's not the issue, the issue is my insecurities which have started to creep back in and it's like I'm having a mental battle with myself because a part of me trusts and believes my mate whilst the other part of me keeps thinking of the old adage a leopard never changes their spots.

The school bell rings and I groaned, morning hasn't even passed yet and already I'm done with this day.

"Let's go to class Mrs Grumpy"

"Urgh!!"

We started to walk towards our English class when I remembered that I had to get something from my locker so I told Emily to go ahead and I'll meet her there, she wasn't happy about leaving me on my own because Mason is still on the loose but I promised her that I would be ok and she reluctantly left for our class.

I went over to my locker and got the book that I needed, I was about to close my locker when my eyes landed on a picture of myself and Cole from a birthday party we attended a few months back, it's such a cute photo and we look so happy, urgh!!, why does drama have to follow me around like a bad smell?.

GRRRRRRR!!.

I was startled when I heard a very deep and powerful growl coming from my side, I looked down the hallway and I was confused and annoyed when I saw an angry Cole who was huffing and puffing like a wild beast yet I could sense that he wasn't completely angry, he was also worried.

I was irked seeing him because I wasn't ready to deal with him just yet so I shut my locker door and started to walk away, Cole clearly wasn't prepared to let me go so easily and he chased after me shouting my name in an angry, frustrating and concerning way, if that makes any sense, I guess he's fed up with me always running away from our problems which to be fair, so was I, the only reason why I didn't want to see him right now is because I didn't wanna say or do something that I'll regret later on.

"Natalia...Natalia, wait up"

"Go away, Cole"

"Natalia stop"

"How about you stop following me and leave me the f**k alone?"

"Don't f*****g curse at me Natalia and remember who I am"

I scoff at him.

"How could I forget who you are Cole? you remind me near enough every f*****g day who you are"

I picked up my pace hoping he'd get the hint and leave me alone but no, I forgot that this is Cole Vasquez I'm talking too, he's kind of known for being a stubborn bastard.

"AAHHH!!, Cole let me go you asshole"

I was startled when Cole grabbed me from behind and forced me up against the nearest lockers hurting my back in the process, he pinned his body against mine and held my wrists on either side of my head as he nuzzled his face into my neck.

"Oh goddess, I've missed you so much, Nat"

What?.

"You've missed me? how the f**k can you miss me, idiot, when you saw me this morning? oh wait, no you didn't because you ditched me for that f*****g slut"

I said whilst trying to get out of Coles hold but it was to no avail, in fact, the more I tried to free myself, the tighter his grip got.

"It's not like what you think, babe"

"And what am I thinking Cole?"

He sighed as he nuzzled his face closer to my neck resting his lips against my soft spot forcing me to either moan or suppress it, the f*****g asshole, he knows exactly what he's doing.

"You think I left you to go and be with Aubrey which...yes, I technically did but it's not for what you think"

"Well then explain it to me, Cole because my head feels like it's going to explode if you don't"

Cole lifts his head out of my neck and looks me dead in my eyes, he then released my wrists and cupped my face gently caressing my cheeks.

"I'm not gonna lie to you baby...I was with Aubrey all morning but that was only because she was causing trouble for my warriors and guards and she refused to calm down until she saw me"

I looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Aubrey's in my dungeons, babe, I found out that she was involved with Mason and that she also had a hand in your kidnap so I had her thrown in my dungeons, actually, I was gonna have her thrown in them after I found out she tricked you into thinking I was having sex with her and almost jeopardised our bond but I found out a lot more than I bargained for when I eventually found her"

Urgh!!, oh my god.

I close my eyes and rest my head on the locker behind me.

"Sometimes I wonder if maybe it's for the best that we just cut all ties with each other, there's way too much drama between us and I've clearly got issues with myself and with trusting you"

"Don't say that Nat, please"

"It's true though, Cole"

I open my eyes and look at him.

"It's been eight months since we found out that we're mates and we've been through so much already and barely any of it's good"

"Then let's make some great memories, babe, I'll do anything to make you happy and keep you with me just please, please, please, please don't leave me"

He begs as he places his forehead onto mine.

"I don't wanna leave you, Cole, I really don't...I love you so much but the drama is never f*****g ending, I'm eighteen years old and I've suffered more than most people my age and I can't cope anymore, I can only be strong for so long before I crumble and break....a..and this morning when I woke up, I was happy because I thought it was finally over with her but then I found out you were with her and...I just couldn't stop thinking about you and her...she's always going to be a dark cloud over our relationship Cole and I don't wanna live like that"

I looked away as I wiped my tears from my face.

"Maybe it's just for the best if we fully reject each other and I left here for good"

"NO!!...no, that is not happening"

He growled through gritted teeth.

"I'm not losing you, Natalia, not now, not ever, do you understand me?"

"Cole..."

"No, don't say anything more, you're not leaving me, we're not rejecting each other, in fact, if you even dare try to reject me or leave me then I'll be left with no other choice"

"What?"

Cole took a deep breath as his face turned stern, he then did something that I never expected him to do, at least not yet.

"I Cole Demetrius Vasquez accept you, Natalia Isabella Vasquez, as my mate and future Luna of the Dark Shadows pack"

"What the f**k?"

I started to feel light-headed and dizzy as a surge of power shoots through me, I could feel my head start to throb and vibrate as the hundreds of pack members started to link with me as their official Luna.

"Natalia, are you ok?"

"I'm fi..."

I tried to say but I fell unconscious before I could finish.

A Few Hours Later...

"Mmm"

This bed is so freaking comfy....wait.

My eyes snapped open and I looked around confused when I saw the familiar gold and white of mine and Coles bedroom, how the hell did I end up here?.

The last thing I remember is being at my locker at school looking at a picture and then....Cole, urgh!!, that son of a whore.

"COLE!!"

I shouted whilst jumping up out of my bed.

My anger was amplified when I looked down and saw that I'd been stripped of the clothes that I was wearing and someone, probably Cole from the scent has put a black t-shirt on me.

"What? what's wrong? is everything ok?"

He asks frantically as he bursts through a door that's on the other side of the room.

I would've thought this was cute if he wasn't such a bastard.

"YOU!!"

I growled as I briskly walked over to him and started to slap him anywhere I could.

"How f*****g dare you come to my school like that and f*****g take back your rejection?"

"Nat, stop"

Cole said whilst chuckling as he tried to stop my oncoming slaps.

I don't know why I was so angry with him because secretly deep down inside of me, I was ecstatic and over the moon that he did it.

"AAHHH!!, COLE, PUT ME DOWN, YOU ASS!!"

I shouted at him when he picked me up and threw me over his shoulders.

"Cole, goddammit, put me down"

I slapped his back repeatedly to get him to put me down, it wasn't enough to hurt him not that I could anyway because the idiot is made of steel and if I did hit him with all of my strength then it would be like a kitten trying to hurt a lion not very effective at all.

"You want me to put you down, ok fine"

"Ouch!!"

I squealed when he slapped my bare ass twice before throwing me on the bed.

"f**k Cole, you're such a f*****g d**k"

I said whilst removing my hair from my face.

"Yer but I'm your d**k"

I attempted to sit up but was stopped by Cole who was now hovering over me.

"Why are you so angry, baby?"

"Because you're an ass"

Was my only answer because I haven't actually got a reason why I'm so angry, maybe the moon goddess is right and having this rejection hanging over us was my trump card in case he ever f****d up again and now that he's taken it back, I've got nothing, maybe that's why I'm so angry, I don't know.

"That's not an answer, Natalia"

He says whilst cupping my face with his hand and gently caressing my cheek, I closed my eyes enjoying the comfort it's giving me and I ended up inadvertently revealing my true feelings to him, damn stupid mate bond.

"I don't know why I'm so angry, Cole...I'm actually really happy because you accepted me"

I slapped my hand over my mouth as my face heated up and turned red.

Cole chuckled as he continued to rub my cheek whilst leaning in to kiss all over my face before placing his forehead onto mine.

"You don't have to be embarrassed, babe, I already knew how happy you are"

"Really? how?"

I ask him shocked.

"I'm your mate, Natalia, I know exactly how you feel all of the time, just like you can with me"

Oh yer.

"So, you always knew how much I love you?"

"Always"

He whispered as he looked down at my lips.

"You're a d**k, do you know that?"

He once again chuckles before sighing in content.

"As long as I'm yours, I don't care what I am"

"So cheesy"

I closed my eyes and smiled.

"Like I said, I don't care"

I gasped when he started brushing his lips against mine, I so desperately wanted to kiss him or for him to kiss me but I had a feeling that he had something more to say so I controlled myself until he spoke again and what he said or more like asked me, I was shocked at first because I wasn't aware that I had to do it but I didn't waste any time in doing it so that our bond can be solidified and can become even stronger.

"So, are you gonna accept me, babe?"

He asked with a bright smile on his face which I knew was just a mask because his eyes were filled with so much hope, fear and vulnerability which is something only I'll see because as an alpha, he'll never ever let anyone else see him like this.

"I Natalia Isabella Vasquez accept you, Cole Demetrius Vasquez, as my mate and future alpha of the Dark Shadows pack"

Almost instantly I could feel our bond tighten and become stronger and I knew Cole could feel it too, his eyes were closed and he looked like he was having an orgasm, he then opened his eyes and smiled at me.

"I love you so much, baby"

He said with so much happiness before smashing his lips against mine.

We kissed each other with so much passion and it quickly turned very hot and steamy as we removed each other's clothes, a very small part of me wanted to stop mainly because I was nervous about mating with him but the other part of me wanted nothing more than to officially be his and bear his mark on my neck.

"You're so f*****g sexy, Natalia"

He growled as he kissed down my neck and grabbed my breasts which wasn't exactly a rough touch but it wasn't gentle either.

I was so turned on and I wanted to finish the mating process with him right now.

"Mark me, Cole, please"

He lifted his head up from my neck and looked at me shocked.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded my head and smiled which he returned as he leaned down to gently kiss me, he then kissed all over my face, along my jawline and down my neck, each one was torturous as I waited impatiently for him to mark me.

When he eventually found my soft spot, he teased me by kissing and licking it whilst also grazing his now extended canines over it causing me to arch my back and moan.

"Are you ready, baby?"

"Just f*****g mark me, Cole"

He chuckled at my impatience as he pressed one last kiss to my soft spot, he was about to bite me when....

"GET OUT, ANGELO!!"

Oh my god, this is so embarrassing.

I thought to myself as I buried myself closer to Cole so that Angelo couldn't see me, even though I've still got my panties on, I'm still very much naked and I don't want my f*****g brother of all people to see me like this.

Cole jumped off the bed not caring that he's only wearing his boxer shorts or that he's got a hard-on as he left the room, he left the door slightly ajar so I could hear what they were talking about as I put my bra and t-shirt back on.

"What the f**k are you doing here, Angelo? have you never heard of knocking?"

"Sorry brother but dad and alpha Koa sent me"

"For what?"

"The meeting we arranged a few days ago, remember"

Cole muttered angrily.

"Give me a minute and I'll be there"

"Ok"

Angelo left and Cole came back in the room looking angry and deflated.

"I'm sorry babe, I've gotta attend this meeting"

"It's ok"

I said giving him a reassuring smile, Cole then got dressed and came over to me giving me a kiss.

"I'm marking your ass later, baby and I'm kicking everyone out of this f*****g mansion so that no one can interrupt us"

I chuckled as he kissed me several times on the lips before leaving our room.

I sat in our bed smiling brightly thinking of how close I was to becoming a marked woman and how good that made me feel, I can only imagine what I'll feel like when he actually does mark me.

I was sitting thinking about mine and Coles beautiful future when I was brought out of my thoughts by a familiar voice who was shouting for me and they sounded very angry.

"NATALIA!!"

Urgh!!.

I groaned in annoyance as I got up out of bed and got dressed before reluctantly leaving my room to go and see my angry little bestie.
