Chapter 41 - Where's My Mate? - Part 2.

I finally have her.

Four words that have been circling around in my head ever since it was discovered that someone has taken my precious mate.

I've tried to stay calm and focused so that I can find my Nattie as quickly as possible but every now and then, I lose my focus and I wanna rip someones head off or beat someone to a pulp, luckily for me I've had Angelo by my side ever since and he's been helping me to tame the raging wolf in me literally and figuratively.

"Ok, so....we found Natalia's necklace here which is also the same spot where our patrol team tracked the kidnapper's scent"

I said whilst pulling out a map of my territory and pointing to the area where Natalia was taken.

"Did you guys track any other scents in or around this area? or was there only this one?"

"There was just this one alpha but I erm..."

He was silent as he looked away from me.

"You what? SPIT IT OUT WILL YOU!!"

"Cole"

Angelo places his hand on my shoulder and I close my eyes as I take a deep breath.

"Speak warrior NOW!! unless you wanna end up on both your alpha and betas bad sides"

The warrior flinched from Angelos tone and I could tell that he was scared but I didn't care, if he knows something and he thinks he can hide it from me then he can think again.

"You better speak now or so help me god, I will take you to my dungeons and force you to speak"

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry, it's just...I don't want to offend my Luna or make you angry alpha that's all"

"Too late"

Angelo rolled his eyes at my impatience.

"What do you mean you didn't want to offend your Luna? how will you do that?"

The warrior looked between myself and Angelo before saying something that left us both confused and myself irate.

"When we were coming up to your office alpha, I erm...I smelled the same scent c..coming from one of the bedrooms....it was mixed with the Lunas scent as well as another scent that I know but I can't place where from"

"WHAT?"

"Cole, calm down"

"Calm down, CALM f*****g DOWN!!....are you being serious, Angelo? how would you feel if this was Emily?"

Angelo was silent.

"I thought so"

I stormed out of my office with Angelo hot on my trail.

"Cole...Cole, where are you going?"

I ignored my brother as I continued to briskly walk over to Natalia's bedroom.

When I got there, I busted the door open and I was immediately hit with numerous different scents including Natalias scent, the smell of her perfume, the smell of aftershave and sex as well as the scents of the rogue who took Nattie and...Aubrey, that f*****g bitch.

"I'm gonna f*****g kill her"

"COLE!!"

Urgh, for f***s sake.

"COLE, WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU?"

"This is all I f*****g need"

I head downstairs where I was met with an irate king and queen as well as two pissed off princes and a princess.

"King Koa, Queen Tia, what can I do for you?"

"Are you shitting me right now, Cole?...my daughter is missing and you didn't even have the common courtesy to tell us, her family"

"I'm sorry sir, I really am, the truth is that we've only just discovered this ourselves and we didn't wanna waste any time when we could've been out there looking for her"

"Yer, we were hoping that she was still on the territory somewhere so we've had all of our people out scanning our entire lands looking for her or any clues that could lead us to who has taken her"

Angelo says trying to reassure Nat's parents.

"Are you guys dumb?"

"Yer, where have you been the past couple of weeks? we all know who's taken her and why he's got her"

"Is that right?"

Dumb and dumber nod their heads like a pair of dogs.

"Well actually moron, that's where you're wrong, yes it's a huge possibility that your crazy deranged uncle has taken my mate but there's also the other possibility that it's a regular rogue who just wants to kill her"

"Oh and why's that?"

The cocky prick asks whilst crossing his arms over his chest and smirking, urgh!!, I swear if he wasn't related to my baby then I'd happily paint his face fifty shades of purple.

"Shut up, Christian"

It was my time to smirk when king Koa ordered his son to pipe down who was clearly stunned by his father's words.

"What do you mean, Cole? why would rogues wanna hurt my baby girl?"

"Because they're rogues, they don't need an excuse to do anything"

Queen Tia said with worry and fear lacing her tone.

"Actually Luna, we've gained information from a rogue who had previously attacked Natalia who said that we should expect many more rogues to come out of the woodwork and try to either kill or mate with Natalia because of your brother-in-law's plans"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, those who want to mate her...wanna do it so they can fulfil Masons plans of killing you guys and using Natalia to take over the throne"

"And the rest"

Nathan asks with fear in his tone and I could tell from his eyes that he was afraid for his sister, in fact, they all are.

"The rest wanna kill her because they know how bad the repercussions will be if Mason were to succeed in his plans....they're not doing it because they want too...they're doing it because they're scared for themselves and their species...the only bad thing is that if Nattie has been taken by a rogue instead of Mason then it's gonna be incredibly hard for us to track her down because it's not just wolves who are after her, it's every supernatural species out there who wanna protect their own...even if that means killing Natalia"

Everyone was silent but I could tell from their faces that they were all thinking, more importantly, I could tell what they were thinking and just like myself and Angelo they wanna know how we can save Natalia and get her home to us safe and unharmed.

"So, what do we do now?"

Nathan's head snapped towards his mate as soon as she spoke up.

"You are doing nothing, you're gonna stay here with the kids"

"Shut up Nathan, I have to do something she's family"

"I know she is, babe but there's enough of us to find her, you just need to stay here and focus on our kids"

Rachel gave Nathan a look that I'm way too familiar with and I've got a slight feeling that my beautiful mate is the one who taught her that look.

"Cole, do you guys have nannys here?"

"Yep"

Nathan glared at me and I smirked, I know it sounds childish but I was finding this amusing, I never realised how much fun it is to be on this side of the line when your mate isn't glaring you to death.

"Great, then I can help find Natalia"

"But..."

"No buts Nathan, she's my family too and I wanna help find her now you take these two over to the nannys whilst I'm gonna go out with some of the warriors and look for anything that can help us find our sister"

Rachel hands her daughter over to Nathan and gives him a smile before heading towards the back door.

"She's gonna make a great queen one day"

Tia beamed with pride.

"Not unless we find her trusty sidekick she won't"

Nathan sighed.

"I'm gonna take these two over to the packhouse, I'll be back soon"

"Ok son"

"Go with him Angelo, make sure he finds his way there"

"You got it"

"And whilst you're over there tell Brody and Jason to interrogate the rogue in my dungeons and make sure Brody gives alpha James a call as well...I'm pretty sure he and Amy will wanna know about Natalia"

"Ok, is there anything you want me to do?"

"Yer, find our best tracker and have him come and check out Natalias room, oh and if you see Aubrey...have her ass dragged over to me"

"Ok"

Angelo smirked knowing exactly what I'm gonna do to that bitch when I get my hands on her.

"Who's alpha James and this Amy?"

Christian asked.

"They're Natalias friends, they took her in when she ran away a while back"

"You know, the more I find out about you and my sister, the more I wanna kick your ass"

I glared at the silver spoon-fed brat whilst trying to control not only myself but also my pissed-off wolf.

Ace is already on edge because we haven't got our mate near us, the last thing I need is for him to be pushed over the edge by this f*****g idiot who is not only threatening us but disrespecting us in our own house and on our territory.

"Christian, show him some respect, he's an alpha after all and we're on his land, not to mention that he's practically family now"

"Not unless our Nattie accepts his rejection he won't"

Christian smirked and it took everything in me not to punch the darn thing off his stupid face.

"Christian"

King Koa growled in frustration.

"Ok, ok fine, I'm sorry"

He wasn't apologising to me and I didn't care, I've got bigger fish to fry at the moment.

"Is there anything we can do to help, Cole?"

"Actually yes, I think we've all got a pretty good idea who's behind Natalias kidnapping but just to be sure, I need you guys to contact all of the species in the supernatural realm, see if they know anything or have seen anything and ask them to keep their eyes and ears open as well"

"Ok"

King Koa, queen Tia and Christian leave as I take a deep breath...it's time for me to go and hunt down a bitch, somethings telling me that Aubrey may be involved in my mate's kidnapping and if she is, then she's not gonna know what's hit her when I get my hands on her.

I leave my home and head to the packhouse.

I looked everywhere for her and asked most of my pack members if they'd seen her but nobody has, it's like she's vanished into thin air.

"Excuse me, alpha"

"Yes"

"I heard you're looking for Aubrey Taylor"

"I am, have you seen her?"

"Yes, she's in the den area"

"Thank you"

"No problem"

I quickly walk away and use my werewolf speed to get to the den, when I got there, I masked my scent and perked up my ears when I heard Aubrey's sickly annoying giggle as well as her mentioning Natalias name.

"No girl I'm being serious, why would I lie about something like that?"

"Because you're a habitual liar"

"Yer and look where my lies have gotten me, I'm gonna be mates with the sexiest and strongest alpha in the whole world and I'm gonna be his Luna"

Aubrey sighs happily.

"All of my hard work has finally paid off, eek, I'm so happy"

"Ok, so tell me this story once again and this time say it slowly so I can fully understand it"

"Urgh!!, ok so...Macey wanted to completely sever not only the bond between Cole and Natalia but also any trust she had in him so whenever Natalia was around, he morphed into Cole and naturally flirted with me so that she'd witness it and think that he wanted me, which by the way he does and..."

"Yer bitch, he wants you so bad that he's been ignoring your very existence for the past few months not to mention since you came back and you had to use your shapeshifter boyfriend to pretend to be him"

"First of bitch, Cole hasn't been avoiding me, he's just busy that's all and secondly, Macey wants Natalia so that's why I used him"

"Mm-hmm"

"Anyway, it's public knowledge that Natalia is insecure when it comes to me so seeing her mate all over me not only makes her even more insecure but it starts to eat away at her trust for him because he's been spinning her a lie that he wants her when he doesn't"

"Annnnnnnnd"

Aubrey's friend dragged out like she was waiting for her to carry on this unbelievable story.

"And we knew that a few moments of us flirting with each other wouldn't be enough for us to get what we ultimately wanted so we arranged the perfect set up that would help us succeed"

The girls fell silent and I thought they left the room but they hadn't because I could still smell their scents and hear their loud thumping heartbeats.

A loud gasp brought me out of my thoughts before a verbal back and forth took place between them and I heard something that made me see red.

"No, you didn't"

"Yes I did"

"No, you didn't"

"Yes I did"

"No, you didn't"

"Girl, yes I did or should I say we did"

"Urgh!! girl, you're not only desperate but you're nasty and let me tell you that is not a good look on anyone"

"Bitch, you're just jealous"

"Pfft, jealous?...jealous of what exactly? you having your boyfriend once again morph into alpha Cole so that you guys could have sex in Natalias bed at the exact time you knew she'd come home and witness it?...please"

WHAT THE f**k?.

"Well, it worked, didn't it? the stupid bitch walked in on us catching me ride Coles d**k like a merry go round"

"You're sick"

"Maybe but that's not the best part"

"Urgh!!, do I even want to know?"

"Oh yes you do, the best part is Natalia BELIEVED that it was Cole, Macey and I put on such a great act that Natalia severed the bond between her and Cole"

"What do you mean?"

"She accepted his rejection and ran out, right into Mason's arms"

Aubrey chuckled like one of those evil witches in a movie.

"Wait, what? how did she run right into Mason's arms if he was naked and underneath you"

"Well, his job was done, why would he stick around? besides, he had to get that bitch out of MY territory in order for our plan to fully succeed"

Aubrey's friend scoffed as she shook her head.

"You better hope alpha Cole doesn't find out Aubrey, otherwise you're toast"

"Too late"

I announced my arrival.

The girls snapped their heads towards me with fear lacing both of their faces.

Aubrey tried and failed to look cute and innocent as she approached me and she thought that she'd actually succeded when I smiled at her but little did she know or should I say notice is that my smile was evil and whilst I was looking down at her, my eyes had glazed over showing I was mind linking someone but because she's so self-involved, she didn't even notice.

"Baby, there you are, I was just telling my friend here all about us"

Aubrey said in her sickly sweet voice whilst latching herself onto me.

I look over at her friend who is shaking like a damn chihuahua in the rain and is looking down at the floor but it's not out of respect, it's out of fear.

For many years, it's been rumoured around packs that alphas will torture and kill anyone who harms their Luna and anyone who is associated with the person who initiated any attacks on her but little does this girl know that it's just a rumour well, for most of us alphas it's just a rumour and lately, I've been thinking about doing the same thing to assure nobody hurts my Nattie again.

"Baby, can we go? I've heard the royal family are here and as the Luna of this pack, I think I should become more acquainted with them"

"Oh don't worry Aubrey, you'll meet each member of the royal family very soon"

Aubrey's eyes widened as her lips formed into a happy and victorious smirk.

"But first, I wanna take you somewhere"

"Really, where?"

Aubrey's eyes danced with excitement as I smirked evilly at her.

"Alpha, we're here?"

"Perfect"

My smirk widened hearing that my warriors have arrived.

"Babe, where are you taking me?"

I look down at Aubrey who was biting her lip in anticipation.

"To my dungeons, warriors take her away"

Two of my warriors grab Aubrey by her arms and drag her away, she was trying to fight my warriors and kept shouting for them to let her go and even shouted for me to help her, pfft, keep dreaming bitch.

I look over at Aubrey's friend who was still looking at the ground whilst shaking.

"What's your name?"

"T..Tina M..Metcalfe, sir"

"Tina....have you ever hurt Natalia Vasquez?"

She looks up and rapidly shakes her head.

"No sir, I..I..I swear, I would never"

Even though her eyes were filled with tears, I could tell that she was telling the truth so I decided to let her off, the only thing this girl is guilty off is her shitty taste in friends.

"Ok Tina, I believe you, you're dismissed"

"Th..thank you, s..sir"

Tina leaves the den and when I was alone, I let out a deep sigh as I rested my head against the wall behind me.

My eyes closed as I silently prayed to the moon goddess to keep my mate safe until I can get to her, I then opened my eyes and looked over at one of the side tables where a whole bunch of pictures of my family are, my eyes drifted from picture to picture until I saw one of myself, Angelo and Natalia from when we were kids, Natalia is sitting in between us with her arms around our shoulders and we're kissing her cheeks.

I went over and picked the picture up and gently stroked my finger over it.

"I'm gonna find you, baby, I promise"

Natalia's P.O.V.

Cold, wet and damp, that's the best way I can describe the place where I'm at, I don't know where I am but it can't be anywhere habitable from not only the looks of it but the sounds, I'm constantly hearing the sounds of water dripping and every now and then I'll hear the sounds of rats scurrying around.

"Lucky...Lucky, can you hear me?"

I let out a sigh when she doesn't answer me, I don't know how long I've been here for but it sure as hell feels like I've been here for a long time.

I've got a huge gash on my forehead from where the asshole who brought me here dropped me, I'm covered in cuts and bruises from god knows what, I honestly can't remember how I got them and my wrists are all red and blistered because of the silver handcuffs that are keeping me tied to the rusty, disgusting bed that I've had the displeasure of laying on.

I know that you're all thinking to yourselves that I should have healed myself by now but unfortunately, I've been injected with god knows how much wolfsbane which is stopping me from not only healing my wounds but communicating with my wolf, I don't know how many times they've injected me but let me tell you it's a lot and my damn arms look like a junkie who's been shooting up for years.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when I heard what sounded like metal being scraped hard against the concrete floor which can only mean one thing, either my kidnapper has decided to grace me with his awful presence or it's one of his idiotic minions.

I look over at the door and saw someone who was dressed in a pair of dark denim jeans and a tight white t-shirt, he's also got some tattoos but I can't make any of them out, well, except for the one that's on his chest and arm which looks like a Samoan tattoo kinda like what The Rock has got but why would this guy have it? the last I checked, those tattoos are only to be worn by people of Samoan heritage and this guy doesn't look Samoan even if I can't see his face yet.

"Like what you see princess?"

That voice...I know that voice, where have I heard it from?.

"You look cute when you're confused, babe...I'm guessing you wanna know who I am and why I've taken you? well, to answer the latter one, you belong to me and as for the first....I'm pretty sure you know who I am"

I shake my head.

"No, I don't"

"Oh really?....come on Natalia, you're a smart girl just think...who am I?"

I didn't really have to think, I knew exactly who this guy was, I was just hoping that he'd reveal himself to me first so that I didn't have to say his name which is like having acid poured on my tongue.

"You're my uncle Mason, aren't you?"

He chuckled as he rubbed his hands together.

"Yes I am but you know me by another name as well"

"Oh yer and what name is that?"

He didn't say or do anything for a few seconds which made me even more confused and had my nerves spiking.

He then stepped forward into the light showing me his face and I gasped as my eyes widened in shock and confusement.
