Chapter 37 - It's The Mega Bitch.

Early The Next Morning....

Bad times are only temporary, don't solve a temporary situation with an irrevocable solution.

Emily used to tell me this every day sometimes twice a day if she'd felt the need too because she was always afraid I'd do something stupid that I'd forever regret.

It's not like her fears were unfounded, she had a very good excuse apart from the obvious to be worried about my well being, you see a few years ago on my birthday I was feeling really lonely, I hadn't received any cards or gifts, I'd been forced to clean the packhouse from top to bottom on my own because my so-called parents were throwing a stupid party and the worst part was that I wasn't allowed to see or speak to Emily and Angelo.

I spent the whole day on my own, well, except for times when pack members wanted to hurt or taunt me, anyway, I got so fed up with life and I just wanted to end everything....I wanted to die, so I snuck into my ex parent's room and stole my ex mother's oxycodone medication, she'd recently had an operation and her wolf wasn't healing her so the pack doctor prescribed her this medication.

After stealing the tablets, I went up to my room and wrote out two letters, one for Emily and one for Angelo before sitting down on my bed and pouring all of the tablets into my hand, Lucky kept trying to get me to change my mind but I refused to listen to her and blocked her out, I was determined to kill myself or at least I thought I was.

I tried several times to take the tablets but every time my hand got close to my mouth, I hesitated, I don't know why because my life was literal shit and the only good things I had was my brother, my best friend and my wolf and as much as I wanted too, I didn't want to put much stock in my mate and I didn't wanna plan a future for myself especially since tomorrow could be my last, all I know is that I couldn't kill myself....as much as I wanted to put an end to my neverending misery.

Luckily for me when I finally did pluck up the courage to take them, Emily and Angelo came busting in my room with cards, gifts and a birthday cake but their smiles and excitement quickly faded away when they saw what I was about to do, I remember their faces like it was yesterday, they were so angry and upset with me.

They gave me a good firm talking too and made me pinky promise that I wouldn't attempt to kill myself ever again, I know it sounds immature but they wanted to make sure that I wasn't lying and since all three of us take pinky promises seriously, it was the only way to calm them down and ease their worries not that it did much easing because for months and months afterwards, they never left me alone, Emily even slept in my room with me every night to make sure that I wouldn't do anything stupid.

"Babe....what the hell are you doing out here? it's four o'clock in the morning"

"I couldn't sleep"

I said whilst keeping my eyes fixed on the beautiful skyline.

Even though it's still pretty dark out, there are some areas in the sky that are starting to brighten up giving the sky a beautiful blend of black, blues and whites with flecks of silver scattered all over or at least that's what the stars look like to me.

"How long have you been out here?"

I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't know"

Cole places his hand on my thigh sending shocks and tingles all over my body, it's amazing how just one touch from him can do that.

"Jesus baby, you're freezing....come on, let's get you back to bed"

Cole grabbed hold of my hand and gently pulled me up, I didn't wanna go back to bed but I knew I didn't have a choice with The Hulk over here who was determined to get me back in there.

"Get in"

"Yes master"

I got in our bed and pulled the blankets over me, Cole got in the other side and pulled me closer to him wrapping his arms around me, I didn't realise how cold I actually was until I snuggled next to my mate, I guess I was too lost in my depressing thoughts to care whether I was warm or not.

"Mmm, you smell so good, Cole"

I nuzzled my face into his neck and gently stroked my hand over his chest and abs.

"Thank you, baby....it's not gonna work"

"What's not gonna work?"

I asked confused.

"You're trying to distract me"

"No, I'm not, you actually smell really good"

I said whilst taking a deep inhale of his scent which I can't seem to get enough of lately, Coles scent has been so alluring to me the past few weeks that I'm finding it hard to resist him which isn't helped by Lucky who is always prancing around like a horny little slut whenever we're near him and is like a grouchy bear when we're away from him.

"Babe stop, I wanna talk to you"

Urgh!!.

"It's four o'clock in the morning Cole, go to sleep"

I turned on my side facing away from him.

"You didn't seem to care about that before"

He said whilst wrapping his arm around my waist and nuzzling his face into my neck.

"I do now"

"Babe, please"

He sighs frustratedly and I couldn't suppress the moan that left my mouth when his hot breath tickled my soft spot.

"You're such a tease, do you know that?"

"Pfft says you, if it was possible for women to get hard-ons then I'd constantly have one around you"

"Really?"

He said with a smile or a smirk, I couldn't tell because I was so tired and lost in the comfort of my bed and being in Cole's arms.

"We need to talk, Natalia"

"I don't want too"

I said probably sounding like a sulky kid.

"I know you don't want to babe but you have too, it's not healthy to keep all of your feelings bottled up like this"

Urgh!!, I hate it when he's right.

"Talk to me, Nat"

I let out a sigh before turning over and laying on my back.

I sigh again this time in defeat when I see worry and concern in Cole's eyes, I hate it when anyone worries for me but even more so when it's my mate.

"I feel confused...a part of me wants to hate my grams for not helping me...but the other part of me feels sorry for her"

"You've both been through a lot, babe"

"But I was never raped, Cole...I can call you a lot of things but a rapist isn't one of them"

I gently stroke my fingers up and down Cole's arm tracing some of the many tattoos that coat it.

"I'd never do anything like that to you, babe"

Cole whispers as he cups my face and gently strokes my cheek, I closed my eyes enjoying the comfort his touch is giving me which is weird considering a few months back his touch was anything but comforting.

"I may have done some unspeakable and unforgivable things to you Nat but I'd never ever rape you....I could never violate you like that, babe"

"I know"

I close my eyes as he places his forehead onto mine.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

Cole closes the little space between us and gently kisses me, I moaned as soon as his lips touched mine and smiled when I felt him smile.

When he pulled away, Cole gently stroked my lips with his thumb, he then gave them one last peck before settling in behind me and nuzzling his face back into my neck.

I closed my eyes placing my hand on top of Coles and rubbed the back of it with my thumb.

"Cole"

"Hmm"

"What do you think I should do?"

"I think you should talk with your grams, babe, you both have been through a lot of traumatic events, sadly enough with your mates, maybe you can help each other by talking about your experiences"

"Mmm, I guess you're right"

"Of course I am, now do me a favour and sleep"

"Yes master"

Cole chuckles as he pulls me even closer to him which I didn't think was possible seeing as I could already feel every inch of his front on my back but somehow he did and within and a few minutes we were both fast asleep.

The Next Day...

Cole's P.O.V.

Knock!!, knock!!, knock!!.

"Come in"

"Alpha Cole"

"Yes"

"Queen Tia is requesting your presence in the dining hall"

"Why?"

"She's made you some food"

I let out a sigh.

"Tell her thank you but I'm not hungry, I've got a ton of paperwork to get through"

"Erm sir, she wasn't asking"

I look up at the omega who was looking down, she was clearly frightened at what my response will be and I don't blame her, I'm not exactly known for being a nice and friendly alpha.

"Ok, I'll be down now"

The omega quickly leaves my office and I throw my pen down before roughly running my hands through my hair, the past couple of days have been really hectic in my house and I've barely gotten any alone time with Nat, there's always someone here and now that her family are here and staying here indefinitely, I can't see us getting alone time any time soon.

I get up from my chair and stretch a little, I looked out of my window when I heard someone shouting Natties name and what I saw made me smile from ear to ear, Natalia is sitting with her sister in law and she's holding her niece whilst her nephew is running around doing cartwheels and shouting Natalias name making sure she's watching him.

I've never really thought about kids, I mean...I knew I had to have at least one child to be my heir but I never really thought about it in depth like being a father....more importantly, being a father to Natalias children, that would be amazing especially seeing how she is with her nephew and niece and how much of a natural she is with them.

I couldn't stop staring at Natalia and how big and bright her smile is which is a result of the conversation she had this morning with her mother and grandma, I didn't even notice that my sneaky mate had gotten out of bed until I was woken up to her straddling me and jumping up and down like an over-excited kid as she kissed my entire face.

When I managed to get up and ask her why she was so happy? she told me that it was because she'd spoken to her grandma and even though it was hard and she wasn't sure if she could ever fully forgive her, she was just so happy that they managed to have this chat and get everything out in the open.

This is why she's smiling so brightly today which is a big difference compared to how she was last night and this morning.

When Natalia left my office last night, she didn't wanna see or speak to anyone even me and when I did go into our room, she just looked so hurt and depressed, it killed me to see her like that which is why it fills me with so much joy to see her smiling and laughing with her family.

As hard as it was for me to do because I wanted to look at my mate all day, I turned away from the window and quickly left my office, if my mother in law is anything like her daughter then I don't want to keep her waiting otherwise she'll have my balls in a blender.

I take the elevator down to the main floor and head straight for the dining room where there's a lot of noise which isn't shocking, Nat's family aren't the only people who've invaded my home morning, noon and night, our friends have as well and I can guarantee that they'll be here stuffing their faces as usual.

"Cole baby, come and take a seat, there's food of every variety here just take your pick"

"Wow, thanks Luna but you didn't have too, you're a guest here"

"Oh honey please, call me Tia or momma"

"Ok Tia, you still didn't have to cook though I could've had one of my maids do it"

I tell her whilst taking a seat in my chair.

"And by maid he means Natalia, the boy can't get enough off his girls cooking"

"Boy? bitch I'm a man"

"Whatever"

"Cole, don't call my mate a bitch"

"Erm excuse me, no fighting at the dinner table"

"Sorry Luna"

We all said in unison.

Normally an alpha would never apologise and he certainly wouldn't call someone by their title on their own property but Tia isn't just anyone and I'll happily show respect to her and her husband not just as my king and queen but as my future parents in law.

"So Emily, what were you saying about my baby girl being a cook?"

"Oh, Natalia is an amazing cook, you only have to look at Cole's stomach to see that"

I almost spat my OJ out when she said this, what a cheeky bitch?.

"Excuse me Emily, are you trying to say I'm fat?"

"No, I'm just saying that you used to have an eight pack and now you've got a six-pack"

What the f**k is she talking about? I've still got an eight pack.

"How do you know what his body looks like, Em?"

Angelo growled whilst glaring at his food.

"Urgh!!, not because I've been looking, that's gross"

"Thanks Emily"

I say sarcastically.

"You're welcome"

She replies with a big smirk on her face, urgh!!, did I ever tell you she's a f*****g bitch?.

"Then how would you know unless you've been checking him out?"

"Because dumbass, Natalia told me"

"WHAT?"

My head snaps towards Emily in shock, she did not just say my baby has been bad-mouthing my physique, did she?.

"Natalia wouldn't say shit about my body, she loves it"

Nathan and Christian growled but were quickly shut up by their mother.

"Oh pipe down you two"

"Of course she loves your body but it doesn't change the fact that Natalia said it"

"I said what?"

An angelic voice speaks.

I look up and smile when I see my queen walking into the dining room whilst still holding her niece.

"Oh nothing"

"Nothing my foot, you were just lying to me about Natalia badmouthing my body"

"No, I wasn't"

Emily glared at me whilst Natalia looked at us both confused.

"You wouldn't insult me would you babe?"

"Of course I wouldn't"

She says as she sits down on my lap and kisses my lips, all of the guys groaned and I smirked, I love it when she kisses me especially in front of people.

"But Nat, you said..."

"Hey Em, do you wanna go shopping later?"

"Ooh shopping, yes, yes, yes"

Natalia chuckles and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't the cutest sound ever.

Baby Miliana started to cry and I thought Natalia would hand the baby over to Nathan but nope, she was able to calm her down and quickly had her nodding back off to sleep again.

"Wow Nat, you're a natural"

"It's because of those huge balloons of hers, I know it sounds weird and creepy but babies always seem to fall back asleep faster when they're resting their heads on a huge rack"

"Emily"

Natalia gasped.

"Babe seriously"

Emily looks at Angelo who is giving her an why would you say something like that? look.

"What it's true?"

"Actually it is and I don't blame baby Mili for falling back asleep that quick, I used to be the same whenever my head got near Natalia's chest"

"Brody"

Natalia gasped again.

"What? I'm not gonna lie, sweetheart"

"You didn't even have to open your mouth"

Natalia facepalmed and shook her head.

The room fell silent and I could tell from looking around the room that everyone was feeling different, Natalia is mortified, Emily is nonchalant, Angelo looks fed up, Jason looks like he's about to either burst with anger or burst out laughing, Dimitri and Massimo look disgusted and I don't blame them whilst Tia, Nathan and Christian all look confused.

The uncomfortable silence was broken by Tia who was looking between Natalia and Brody with narrowed eyes.

"Am I missing something here?"

"No"

Both Natalia and Brody said at the time which only heightened Tia's curiosity.

"Well then why is he talking about being near your boobs, Natalia?"

"He's a man"

Natalia stated so matter of fact but I think she's forgotten what man she's talking about.

"Yes honey he is but the last time I checked, Brody is mated to this young man here, why would he have any interest in your chest?"

"Urgh!!, for the moon goddesses sake, can you all please stop talking about my f*****g t**s?"

"Here, here"

Nathan and Christian said at the same time with disgust clear on their faces.

Bing bong, bing bong, bing bong, bing bong.

"I'll get that"

"No, I'll get it, you all finish eating your food"

I get up from my seat and leave the dining room.

As soon as I walked out, I let out a breath that I didn't realise I was holding, I don't know why but lately being around Natalia is getting harder and harder when all I want to do is mark and mate her and it's not made any easier when that f*****g bastard talks about my Nattie and the things he's done with her.

Bing bong, bing bong, bing....

I open my door and my blood started to boil when I saw who was standing there.
