Chapter 26 - Just Give Me One Chance.

Dear moon goddess, I've been a good girl my whole life, I've taken everything you've thrown at me, I've suffered from mental, emotional and physical abuse, I've been tortured until I can barely breathe and bullied by a bunch of imbeciles, all I'm asking from you is to f*****g WAKE MY WOLF UP SO I CAN HEAL AND GET OUT OF THIS GOD DAMN PLACE!!.

If you haven't noticed, I'm fed up and angry, it's been a week since I woke up from my coma and guess what? I'm still not f*****g healed, my wolf is taking her sweet ass time waking up which means that I'm stuck in the hospital until she wakes up.

One day I got so angry that I asked Cole to get his wolf to try and contact my lazy wolf but he wasn't able too and he said that he hasn't been able to contact her ever since my attack.

Another reason why I'm getting fed up and angry is because of my friends, don't get me wrong I love this lot to death and I'll do anything for them but whenever they come to visit me, it always ends with a verbal smackdown and this happens every freaking day, every day my room turns into a live version of the Jerry Springer show and it's annoying, it's also what's happening right now, the girls are arguing with the guys over something insignificant, actually, I can't remember what they're arguing over because it started over one thing and now they're using this as an opportunity to air out all of the dirty laundry in their relationships.

Luckily and I never ever thought I'd hear myself say this but luckily Cole came in and instantly shut everyone up.

"Hey babe, are you ok?"

Cole asks whilst leaning in and kissing my forehead.

"I'm fine"

No just in case you're wondering, we're not together and I haven't forgiven him, I've just learned after the umpteenth time that telling him to stop calling me by pet names is like trying to break down a brick wall with a feather duster, it's a waste of time and energy.

"I brought you your favourite"

"Ooh, gimme"

Cole chuckles as he hands me my food, I didn't waste any time in opening it up and eating it not caring if I looked like a wild animal who hadn't eaten in months.

I look up at everyone when I heard a dead silence and I saw them all staring at me with either confused or amused faces.

"What?"

"Nothing sis"

Angelo said whilst chuckling.

"Have you two got something you wanna share with the group?"

Emily smirked as she looked between myself and Cole, I looked over at Cole who looked just as confused as me.

"Erm, nope"

I said before taking another bite out of my burger, as I was chewing on my food I started to feel a warm fuzzy feeling in my chest which caused me to stop chewing.

I was confused by what was going on, this feeling is totally different from when Cole calls me a pet name or holds my hand, it feels...I don't know, I can't describe it.

It was only when I felt the same feeling in my head that I realised what was going on, I quickly placed my burger back in it's box and wasted no time in taking my top off which earned me quite a mixed reaction from everyone in the room.

"Woah there Nelly, what are you doing?"

"This girls got no shame"

Amy mutters with a slight chuckle whilst facepalming.

"Natalia, for f***s sake, put your shirt back on"

Cole growled out but I ignored him as I looked down at my chest, I peeled away the bandage from in between the valley of my breasts and I smiled brightly when I saw that I was finally healed.

"Lucky...Lucky, are you there?"

There was nothing but silence for a few seconds but then I heard her voice which brought a tear to my eye, I've seriously missed this bitch.

"Guess who's back, back again, Lucky's back, tell a friend, guess who's back, guess who's back?, guess who's back, guess who's back?"

"Oh my god Lucky, you don't know how amazing it feels to finally hear your voice, I thought you were never gonna wake up"

"I'm sorry my Nattie pie, I really am"

"It's ok, it's not your fault, it's that damn rogue's fault, I can't wait to kill him"

"That's if he's still alive, I wouldn't be surprised if Cole hasn't killed him already"

"Why would Cole kill him?"

"Urgh!!, you're seriously slow Nattie"

"Hey"

"What? you are and to answer your question, Cole loves us"

Whatever.

I was brought out of my mind link with Lucky when I felt something warm being put on me and man did it smell good, I look down and saw that I was now wearing Coles t-shirt, I look up at him and had to try really, really, really hard not to moan and to keep my face stoic which wasn't easy, Cole's f*****g hot.

"Mates topless, mates topless, oh my god look at those abs and those muscles, oh f**k me don't get me started on his tattoos"

Urgh!!.

"Calm yourself horndog"

I roll my eyes at my stupid horny wolf, she's only been awake a few minutes and already she's acting like a bitch in heat.

I was once again brought out of my thoughts by a throat clearing and I was embarrassed when I saw everyone was smirking, shit, I can't believe I got caught ogling Cole.

"Why am I wearing your shirt?"

I ask trying to change the subject which thankfully worked.

"Because I didn't want everyone staring at my mate's breasts"

"Urgh!!, you're such a jackass, Cole"

I went to get out of my bed but was stopped by Cole, he's been super over-protective of me ever since I woke up and won't let me do anything in case I open up my wound, you should have seen how he reacted when he found out that I'd taken a shower without any help, he was furious, it was so funny.

"Where the hell are you going, Nat? you're injured"

"Actually, no I'm not I'm healed...Luckys back"

I announced with so much excitement.

"Really, that's great news, it also explains why Ace is so chipper today"

Cole ordered everyone to leave and went to get the pack doctor.

When they came back in, the pack doctor checked me over and Cole wasn't happy when I once again had to take my top off, he was so angry that I thought he was gonna shift which is something I really didn't want so I grabbed hold of his hand and caressed the back of it with my thumb, Cole was shocked at first that I willingly grabbed hold of his hand but he quickly got over it and placed his free hand on top of our entwined ones whilst smiling like a Cheshire cat.

After the pack doctor checked me over, he and Cole left so that Cole could sign my release forms, when they left, I changed into some fresh clothes and I can't even describe how good it felt to finally be wearing something other than pyjamas, I also brushed my hair into a high ponytail and put on a bit of make-up so that I can look and feel more like my normal self.

When I was done, I sat on my bed and waited for Cole to come back in, a few minutes later he came in looking really happy.

"Are you ready to go, babe?"

"Why are you so happy?"

I jump off my bed and went to grab my bag but Cole got there before me.

"You're finally coming home where you belong, why wouldn't I be happy about that?"

"Oh right"

"Come on"

We walk out of the room and left the hospital, on our way out I saw that there was a room that had several guards standing outside of it, I asked Cole what that was about because normally a situation like that would mean there's a prisoner in there but from what I remember, Cole doesn't allow prisoners into our pack hospital unless they're on death's door, Coles body stiffened at my question and I saw that his face was going red from anger, he told me it's nothing for me to worry about as he grabbed hold of my hand and briskly lead us out of the hospital.

"Erm Cole...where are we going?"

I was confused because he was leading us away from the packhouse which is where I thought we were going.

"You'll see"

Cole said with a smirk.

We continued to walk until we came to a stop outside of a beautiful mansion.

"Oh my god"

"Do you like it?"

"Like it? Cole, it's absolutely gorgeous, who lives here?"

I was too busy admiring the house to notice that Cole had fallen silent and was watching me, he then said a word which confused me.

"Us"

I turn around to look at him fully expecting to see a smirk or some sign that he's joking but instead, he was standing there with a loving look on his face.

"What do you mean by us, Cole? I..I..I..we..we..we..."

I couldn't form any words or even a complete sentence because I was so confused.

Cole walked over to me until we were only a few inches apart, he then cups the side of my face and gently caresses my cheek with his thumb.

"I mean that this place is ours, Natalia, I designed and built this place for us and our kids to live in and be happy"

Oh my god, is he being serious? does he really think that we're going to be together one day and have kids and live happily ever after?...this isn't a bluddy Disney movie.

"Actually, yes I do"

My head snaps up and my face turned a light shade of red when I saw Cole smirking at me, shit, he read my thoughts.

"Cole, I..."

"No, don't speak just listen to me, ok"

He cuts me off and I nod my head, well, as best as I could with Coles hands on either side of it.

Cole looked at me affectionately as he continued to caress my face with his thumbs.

"I love you, Nat...I really do, I made a big, huge mistake rejecting you and every day I wish that I could go back in time and change it but I can't, I can only hope that one day you can forgive me and give us a chance to repair our bond"

"Cole..."

I was shushed by him when he put one of his thumbs on my lips.

"What did I say, hmm?"

He said with a smirk as he traced the shape of my lips with his thumb, he was staring at my lips intently and I could tell from the way his eyes darkened that he wanted to kiss me but he was trying really hard to control himself.

"Anyway..."

Cole started as he closed his eyes for a few seconds, he then opened his eyes again looking deep into mine.

"I believe that one day in the future we'll be happy together....we'll be fully marked and mated, we'll be married and living here happily running our pack and raising our beautiful children"

I chuckled slightly remembering just how many he wants.

"Six, right?"

Cole looked at me shocked.

"Yer, how do you know?"

"I heard you when I was in my coma...you want six kids, five boys and one girl"

Cole smiled as a blush crept up on his face and neck.

"You heard me...I always hoped you would but I thought it wasn't possible"

He said whilst nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Yer, I heard everything"

Cole was shocked but didn't seem at all embarrassed which I would've been if I'd been speaking to someone who I thought was in a coma but was secretly listening to everything I was saying.

"Look, Nat...I know it's gonna take us a while before we can truly be happy with each other, I just need to know if you can give us a chance...if you can forgive me for everything I've put you through"

"I don't know Cole....you've put me through so much not to mention that you rejected me...do you even know what a rejection feels like?"

Cole closes his eyes as he places his forehead onto mine.

"I don't even wanna know what you had to go through because of me, baby"

Cole whispered against my lips which wasn't helping the horny beast inside of me who was dying to jump his bones, damn mate bond.

"Can you please just promise me that you'll at least think about giving me a chance, babe? that's all I'm asking from you for now"

I opened my eyes and looked deep into Cole's eyes hoping to find a sign that he was being deceitful but I didn't instead, I saw a lot of love and affection in them....dammit.

"Please say something, Nat"

"I erm...I don't know...I don't know if I can forgive you or give you a chance"

Cole's face dropped and I instantly felt guilty.

"Alls I'm asking from you babe is for you to think about it, please"

I was torn between my head and my heart and I didn't know what to do, if I say yes then I'm giving him false hope but if I say no then I'm lying to myself.

"Just say you'll think about it, Nat, Jesus, it's not like he's asking if he can mark and mate with you right here and now, is he? he's just asking for you to think about it"

Urgh!!, I hate it when my wolf is right.

"I love you too, Natalia"

"Whatever"

I came out of my mind link and looked at Cole who was anxiously waiting for my answer.

"Ok fine, I'll think about it but don't get your hopes up too high, Cole"

"I won't, I won't, I'm just happy that you agreed"

He leaned in kissing my forehead and I couldn't control the smile forming on my face when I felt the shocks and tingles as well as his own smile on my skin.

"Come on babe, I'll show you to your room"

We head inside and I was awestruck by how beautiful this place is, Coles really got a knack for designing.

Cole lead us upstairs to the third floor where there are numerous rooms, I asked him why there's so many and he said that some are guest rooms whilst the rest are for our future children, he showed me to one of the guest bedrooms which was absolutely beautiful, it's a mixture of creams, browns and golds and it's got a huge circle bed in the corner, I've always wanted one of them.

"Wow, this is beautiful"

"Thanks, I designed it myself"

I look at Cole shocked.

"Really?"

He nods his head.

"I didn't want my queen and my heirs living in something shabby, I had to make sure everything was luxurious, even the bathrooms"

Cole looked towards a door and I went over to it.

"Holy f**k"

"Language Natalia"

"f**k my language Cole, this place is f*****g amazing"

Cole chuckled.

"I'm glad you like it, babe"

"Like it, Cole you just lost your chance at having me back"

"What? why?"

He asked sounding hurt, I look over at him and see him leaning against the doorframe with a frown on his face.

"Well, I'm guessing that this is just my room and we're not sharing which means that I'm never gonna wanna move out of this room, it's amazing"

I squealed the last bit which made him chuckle.

"Well then I've got nothing to worry about"

"Huh, what do you mean?"

Coles smile turned into a smirk.

"I mean that I've got nothing to worry about because A) I'm gonna get you back and my mark will be sitting right here when I do"

He said whilst gently stroking his fingertips on my neck where his mark will be.

"And B) you haven't seen our room babe and trust me when I tell you, it's a hundred times better than this room"

"Really?"

"Mm-hmm"

He nodded his head.

"Prove it"

"What?"

"Show me your room, prove that it's better than mine"

Coles smirk widened, he was about to say something but was interrupted by the doorbell.

"I'll get that, you can make yourself at home"

"Hey, wait a minute where's all of my stuff? I need to go and get it from Brody"

"Don't worry babe, Brody and Emily brought all of your things over the other day and Emily unpacked it all for you"

"Oh ok"

Cole left the room and I wasted no time in laying down on the bed which was so freaking comfy, I was determined not to move from my spot and closed my eyes feeling relaxed but then I heard Coles very angry growl which startled me.

"WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE?"

I jump up from my bed and immediately left my room, I ran downstairs to see what's going on and to find out who's pissed Cole off now but I froze midway when I saw two people who I hoped I wouldn't see again, what the hell do they want?.

"Baby girl"

"Wh..what are you doing here?"
