36 Chapter 35

Following the reindeer, I entered Drum Castle. If I didn't see the snow inside the castle, I wouldn't have guessed how cold it is inside. Be it outside in the cold weather or here, the temperature felt right to me.

I found the woman from earlier, sitting on a table drinking from a glass bottle. Judging by the smell, it's some hard liquor. She had a smirk while staring at me.

The look she was giving me gave me the creeps, to top of her tremendous Aura, I didn't know how to start the conversation, so I decided to keep it simple.

"Hello, my Monkey D. Luffy. I wanted to..." I couldn't continue since she interrupted me.

"You can call me Dr. Kureha." She took a sip from her drink.

"So you want to know the secret to my youthfulness?" She asked me with a laugh afterward.

"Umm, I wanted to ask how is Robin, the friend I brought," I told her.

"She should be fine. I already made the medicine, and Chopper should be taking care of her as we are speaking. " Kureha stated.

"There are very few prehistoric islands on the Grand Line. Which one are you coming from." The Doctor asked me afterward.

"We came from Little Garden," I answered her.

"Ahh, I should have figured, those Giants are with you." That surprised me, and my look gave it away, seeing how she started laughing at me.

"I may be in my prime, but I am still a hundred and thirty-nine years old. I know about a lot of things boy." Kureha continued laughing after saying that.

In her prime at that age? I didn't know what am I supposed to say. Should I question that, or should I compliment her? Both options seem very bad, so I decided to change the topic.

"Dr. Kureha, could you give me an estimated time on when Robin would be okay to leave here? We need to leave towards Alabasta as soon as possible." I asked the Doctor.

"At least three days, and don't even think about leaving before that," Kureha stated.

"We don't have the time to wait that long." I slightly raised my voice, when saying that, and the next moment I was pinned to the wall with a knife placed on my neck. She was so fast I wasn't even able to see her move. My Observation Haki was constantly feeling the surroundings, but she was still nothing but a blur.

"There are only two cases in which I will let my patients go. One, when my patient recovers and two, when my patient dies." Kureha declared, with an intimidating tone. I was scared, but I couldn't accept that.

"That's fine, but you said that Chopper is treating Robin, so that makes her his patient, right?" I asked her while looking straight at her eyes.

"Heeheehee, he has the same principles as me. He won't allow for a patient to leave without recovering first," Kureha said.

"Well then, I will just have to make him come with us then and make sure she recovers," I told her with a smirk.

"Heeheehee, I want to see you try boy. If you can make him come with you, I won't mind then." Kureha stated while walking back to the table and continued drinking.

"Don't go back on your words when he says he wants to come with me!" I stated.

"Since you are so confident, how about we make a bet then, heeheehee." She laughed and opened up another bottle.

"I don't mind that," I told her.

"If you don't get him to join you, you will have to pleasure me in bed, heeheehee." Just hearing that gave me the shivers, and I wanted to refuse immediately.

"You won't go back on your words, right boy, heeheehee." I didn't even dare to respond and quickly ran away from that room.

Sensing Robin and Chopper with Observation Haki, I made my way towards them.

Entering the room, Chopper was holding Robin's arm and checking over a tiny mark there. The moment he heard me, he turned around and shrieked.

Chopper ran to a nearby shelf and hid his head, while the rest of his body was sticking out. He looked so comical that I couldn't help myself from laughing.

"What are you doing here human?" Chopper yelled at me.

"I came to thank you for taking care of my friend," I told the reindeer.

"Shut up! I don't want any gratitude from humans!" He yelled again while doing a weird dance, by wiggling his body like a noodle.

"Shishishi, you are cool. Do you want to join my pirate crew?" I asked.

"WHAT!?! There is no way I would leave with humans and become a pirate!" He shouted.

"Why not? I think you will be a fine addition to my crew, especially since we lack a Doctor." I told him with a smile.

"I'm a reindeer, how could I possibly get along with humans?" Chopper screamed out.

"Since you are able to nurse a human, I don't see why you can't get along with one," I answered.

"But I'm reindeer with a blue nose that can talk! I can also walk on two legs and transform into different forms." Chopper yelled.

"I think that makes you cool! I can also transform into a different form and have a tail." Saying that I transformed into my hybrid form and turned around, showing him my tail by swinging it around. His eyes popped out of his sockets seeing me in my hybrid form.

"Yo-yo-you are just like me? Are you a monkey that ate a weird fruit?" His question caught me off guard, and I started laughing.

"Shishishi, no I am a human that ate a weird fruit, but my name is Monkey D. Luffy. So it's kinda ironic how I ate a Monkey Zoan Fruit." I answered Chopper.

"Nonetheless, we are very similar in that regard, that we have both eaten a Zoan Devil Fruit." He was looking at me with watery eyes.

"Similiar? But I'm a monster." Chopper whispered.

"Then I'm the biggest monster, ROAR." I jokingly roared and enlarged myself to three meters in height. Seeing me now, he had stars in his eyes, and I decided to humor him for a bit.

"Look, now I will become an even bigger monster." This time I enlarged myself three meters in width. He was laughing at me and my comical block look.

Deciding to play a bit longer, I showed him something I've been working on ever since I received the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia from Rukh. My facial features morphed into his, with the help of my Awakened Rubber fruit. I couldn't change my hair color or make my nose blue, but the dark grey hair would do for what I was doing here.

"I can even change my appearance, albeit it takes some time. Compared to you, I'm a bigger monster. Join me and my crew while we travel the world. I promise you will not regret it." I told Chopper, who started shaking and crying.

"Bu-bu-but I'm a reindeer." He barely whispered.

"Just shut up and accept already!" I screamed out.

"O.K," Chopper cryingly said.
